This is 2nd crown of 1 in top 6 biggest beauty pageant.
Vietnam won Miss Earth 2018 and Miss Grand International 2021. And this is the first Miss Grand International crown for our country (Vietnam), I was so happy and I couldn't sleep that night.

@@anthonylopez6839 Yeah. And now, Philippines is planning to let go the MGI franchise and will not send anymore a candidate to the MGI next year.
She might have do well on the final night but you forgot about Swimwear competition, national costume, interview sessions and other activities that they were judge on. All those were 80% of the overall score and the final night was only 20%. Just because she did well, she might have done bad in other things.

You mentioned interview, MG Philippines is a very good communicator. The Sovereign saying it's very unlikely Philippines was left out of the top 20 was a great validation.
What can you say about having a display judges (meaning they are just there being introduced but the organizer, mr. Nawat has the final say who should be on top 20, top 10, five and the winner?)

If SamPan has an alleged attitude problem according to netizens defending MGI (not necessarily Thai & Indonesian pageant fans), how many percent of the total score for the attitude in order her to boot out in the Top 20 aside from Outdoor preliminary swimsuit, indoor preliminary swimsuit, closed door interview & preliminary evening gown?
Vietnam won Miss Earth 2018 (same year Valeria Ayos placed Miss Earth Water) !! So this is their second Big 5 win
India and Indonesia performed really well!

I have 3 things I wanted to share.
1. Please react to the prelims and let us know if you think Philippines performance is not deserving to move to the finals. Interview is not an issue with our candidates you can watch all their pre pageant activities and all interviews that Sam has and you can say if the person will struggle or it is her strength and with Sam it is her strength part of the competition.
2. It is not only the Philippines who has a very good and outstanding performance who did not make it to top 20 that makes it more suspicious because no matter how many times we watched the prelims performance theres no logical explanation that we can come up.
MGI advocacy is to promote unity and stop the war but after the pageant the owner of the show release a statement that Philippines sent the wrong candidates because for him Sam doesn't have Beauty, Body and Brain- seriously 🤔 pageantry should not be judge candidates based on his personal criteria of beauty alone.
It should be a consensus decisions of a panel of judges from different walk of life, with a standard scoring that should applied to all candidates equally it doesnt matter weather the owner of the pageant prefer a certain type of beauty. What is the point of asking other countries to compete, ask the audience to vote and having a lot of pre pageant activities if you will not be basing your score on their performance during the competion but instead you score them base on the owner personal favorites... The owner basically only look on the performance of those candidates He just wanted to give good score but dont acknowledged the efgort and hardwork of the other candidates who did not meet his standards prior the competition even started so my queston is why did you allow to join the MGI competion those girls that dont meet the owner standards in the first place... All candidates are putting their efforts, invest time, resources, sweat and blood and all you gonna say is you're not the one im looking for because you dont have the 3 things: Beauty, Body and Brain.
3. MGI is a mere contest not a pageantry. The owner controls everything and choose the candidates based on his own personal definition of beauty, body and brain......
What is Mr. Nawat is saying after the pageant are garbage and bullshit all are just excuses to justify his poor decision making.
If he was saying that Sam doesn't have the 3 criteria that MGI is looking to a candidate then how come Thailand didn't make it to Top 20 as well? Is Mr. Nawat is also the one who judged MGI Thailand and sent the winner to their own contest? So why is she not on the top 20? Or the owner just decided to sacrifice their very own candidate just to tell that MGI is not a cooking show? Isn't it funny that the owner will sent a representative to his very own contest that doesn't met his own personal standards duh.....!
So, to all contestant who joined MGI who felt bad because they felt they were judge unfairly like Hongkong, Philippines and others I can feel you.... We dont hold it to the winners because we know they work so much as well for MGI it is the organization that we hold it accountable for the poor judging. What the sense of having a very grandiose production and presentation but there's no credibility and doesn't promote equal opportunity to all participants.
As a Filipino pageant fan I also agree that Binibining Pilipinas should not waste time, resourses and top quality queens to this garbage contest.
@BRANS 9898 "He answered according to his reasons," what a lame excuse is that? I think you need to question your moral compass. Do a self check, for something is wrong with the way you think and that needs to be corrected.
A president releasing a statement against a specific candidate is very inappropriate and unprofessional. That's not how pageant works, and his action is totally the opposite of his pageant's message/ motto and even insulted India's culture.

Trust me, us Dominicans were SHOOK when she didn't make it. She was one of the best in swimsuit before the prelims, one of the best in prelims and finals too. If you notice, there wasn't one single woman of color in the top 10 except the asian queens. Nawat did a live after Vietnam's crowning and he basically confirmed he picks girls not based on merit but based on what type of beauty he wants to represent MGI. Since Abena won last year, he seemed to rob the black queens cause Cuba also did amazing in prelims and she did not make it to top 21.
