It takes real guts for anyone to take on an iconic jazz song like this, much less a 7 year old who has never been on a stage before. Watch the original, she gets the feeling of it dead on.
Dude, Angelina does not get nervous. She said in an interview, not long after this appearance, she was asked where is her favorite place to be? Angelina said, "When is the next time I can be on stage singing. When I am on stage I go to a place where everything is good and right. When I am off the stage, I am thinking about when it is I will be back on stage and singing." People try to say she looks nervous or sounds nervous when she is on stage and performing, that is excitement not nerves. As far as I know no one else sings like her in the family. Maybe they can carry a tune, but their voices do not sound good to be singing alone.
There are no words to descibe her abilities. By the way, she has said that she has never been uneasy or frightened to sing in public, and she has proved that time and time again, in small and very large venues (a stadium of 40,000 with Nora Jones, or millions on national TV). At Angelina's age, she surely knew what the song meant to her, but not that the song had been banned as the "Hungarian Suicide Song!" This song was made popular by Billie Holiday, Angelina's idol. If you listen to them singing together, Angie is able to produce the same sounds as Billie. Angie went on in NGT to win at age 8.
Angelina, the Barefoot Angel, is a musical talent with unmatched unique voice singing iconic songs by the legend of the music world: any music genre and any song. She is the girl with 1000 voices!!!
Angelina's talent is apparently limitless and instinctive. At seven she is already a skillful and imaginative jazz singer. Here she is covering a jazz legend and is simply killing it. It's not surprising the judges (and the audience) were absolutely blown away. Enjoy the Angelina journey it is a masterclass in singing, and it's virtually all on tape. The song is often referred to as 'The Hungarian Suicide Song'😎
Poppa, Angelina Jordan INSISTED to study music at the academy. When 4 years old she was accepted at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Oslo. Today she is at the academa at LA. Daily exercising her voice for 6 hours with one day pause. She also excels at normal school, as this girl is extremly intelligent and gifted. She fulfilled almost all of her goals from when she was 3 year old, including performing for the Nobel Prize recipients, she sang before the Obahmas and Kofey Ahnan, raised 21 million USD, today most likly more, for charity and ecological causes and is a good human all around. The story abot the shoeless girl you surely already know. Stay safe and sound, German Greetings
Nice reaction. & nice comments too. Know you still have 3 more from that NGT she won. (What Angie said about “Gloomy Sunday” choice) “The reason I chose this song is completely random. I love jazz, but “Gloomy Sunday “ was random. It was a night I could not sleep and my mother was stressed that I was awake long after midnight. Then I borrowed my mom's iPad, where I wanted to listen to jazz on TH-cam before I fell asleep. Then came a picture of a beautiful lady screaming at the sky and with her eyes closed. I heard the song “Gloomy Sunday” that night and then I had to hear it every day. I love the melody. I understood well what the text was about because I know English well. Every time I sang it I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words. When I sang it for mom, she said that this song is nice, but that it was incredibly sad song.” (Sara, Angie's mom was asked what she thought when she saw her on the screen backstage, (she was wiping her tears when watching) “I knew I had just lost my little girl to the world”) The family has always been very close & since that even more protective of her from the entertainment industry’s vultures & hyena's. This performance shows how much Billie Holiday was a big influence for her. Man, for someone so little to love jazz is unheard of. She looks like she should be singing twinkle twinkle little star, but she is singing like a seasoned jazz singer. So mind-boggling! A gift she is to the world, that what she is. What a talent!
Truth is always stranger than fiction. For the most accomplished child vocalist of all time to begin her on stage career singing "Gloomy Sunday" is beyond comprehension. Poppa Pryce, congrats on reaching 1k subs and thank you for providing a link to the original song. I suggest you encourage viewers to use that link to watch the original song and to subscribe to Angelina's channel. We angels have been suggesting this to reaction channels and now more than 100 channels are doing so. Only takes a few seconds and the fans of the artist love the support. We suggest you do it for each aspiring artist you feature and we know you will get more to subscribe to your channel as well.
Poppa, 2 down and about 150+ to go! :):) Poppa, it doesn't stop. You have about 9 years of music to cover. And, no time for 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'. I would suggest some songs for you to listen to from my "top 10" list. But, unfortunately I have about 100 selections in my "top 10" list :):). However, Poppa, I will give you something which you should not overlook. Years 7, 8 and 9 were great and lots of people in the industry took notice of who this kid was with such a unique voice. But, when she hit 10 she stepped it up a notch or two and was no longer regarded as a cute kid with a great voice. Musicians and everyone else involved in the trade began to realize she was going to be a force to be reckoned with, a jewel shining very bright. Okay, after you finish with Norway's Got Talent, and 'I Put A Spell On You' (at 9 years old), you can go into year 10 and go through the classics she does. And, she "does" them very well. One you want to hear is Angelina, at home, sitting in a chair, singing 'My Funny Valentine'. I will say no more. Poppa, glad to have you aboard! Love your enthusiasm. I know you're still in the shock mode and soon you will enter the emotional zone. You'll just to find out what I mean by yourself. But, I will tell you, it's beautiful.
This was her 1st dong to get into the contest her 2nd was an Acapella version of Im a Fool To Want You 3rd was Bang Bang then her last and Winning Song is Summertime. Got to see them all and she is versed in 5 Languages and 3 instruments and Humanitarian for Children Around the World Have Shoes this was a Promise she made to a lil girl that Angelina gave her shoes to as the lil girl was so poor. The suite she wore for Bohemian Raspsdy she made. She loves the oldies Billie Holiday and Etta James, Sinatra Freddy Mercury, Elvis , Micheal Jackson ect Grandmother is an Artist
Welcome fellow Angel. Her parents have said they have no musical abilities. Her grandma Mery Zamani, who got Angelina interested in jazz from even before she was born in the womb played jazz all the time. Mery is an established an known artist and poet and is a prodigy herself so Angelina has art in her blood. That was Angelina's mother Sara with the long blond hair. If you listen to the original by Billie Holiday your mind will be blown even more! Next up: The classic "FEELING GOOD" on stage at 10 with a great band. Here's the link: th-cam.com/video/p8kAL-sGJx8/w-d-xo.html Great reaction!!!!!
She was the last contestant of the day, long day for a 7 year old, and she was perfect! Wait till you hear her next one, (NGT) I'm A Fool To Want You. Acapella.
THIS journey I really want to follow 😃 so as a new subscriber, I sure hope to see you react to her other performances at the NGT. They are rather short, so you may even make them all in one video. Her next was one more Billie Holiday cover, "I`m A Fool To Want You". At this stage the singers was to sing acapella, unless the act included their own use of an instrument. (Angelina was among those who did not bring any instrument.) She then went on to the semi-final, performing a cover og Nancy Sinatra`s version of "Bang Bang, My Baby Shot Me Down". For the final she performed "Summertime" by George Gerswhin.
You should check out summertime that was the final song she sang in Norway's got talent. You can see her maturing so fast in just months. She's really so special
Well I sent all of Norway’s got talent performances. Ignore gloomy Sunday and go to the remaining two. I am just loving your reactions. So happy I subscribed to you. 🌺
Gloomy Sunday. Here is a quote from Angelina (7y) from an interview with TV2 after her Audions NTG 2014. "The reason I chose this song is completely random. I love jazz, but" Gloomy Sunday "was random. It was a night I could not sleep and my mother was stressed that I was awake long after midnight. Then I borrowed my mom's iPad where I wanted to listen to jazz on TH-cam before I fell asleep. Then came a picture of a beautiful lady screaming at the sky and with her eyes closed. I heard the song "Glommy Sunday" that night and then I had to hear it every day. I love the melody. I understood well what the text was about because I know English well. Every time I sang it I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words. When I sang it for mom, she said that this song is nice, but that it was incredibly sad song. " In a interview after this performance Angelina's mom was asked why she was crying during her performance?? Were they happy tears?? Mom said; " They were happy tears but they were also sad tears because I know I just lost my daughter to the world at that point in time. Please do this reaction to one of her BEST at 8 yrs old. ♥👣 I looked and did not see one of her best. IMO. I just want to be on stage" A snippet of Skaylan’s interview of Angelina Jordan (age 12) on Norwegian TV - November 2018 ♥👣 Never have I seen Angelina go so deeply into this world as she does here. She is just immediately in it and I from the first note am there with her! If you could only listen to one Artist for the rest of your life who would it be? One song for the rest of your life, what would it be? That would be Angelina for me. No Doubt about it! ♥ If you only had one song. This would be it! ♥👣
Welcome to the Angels, Poppa P! I really like your logic of watching the two auditions back-to-back. For your next Angelina reaction, I'm gonna suggest you watch the black & white video of Screamin' Jay Hawkins' classic, I Put A Spell On You, recorded when she was 9 yrs old, about a year after she won Norway's Got Talent. It's her own arrangement and I believe it represents her breakaway moment; the moment she first tastes her dream of superstardom. It's also the most shockingly bluesy and fierce music performance you may ever witness. Great reaction!
React to the black & white video of her singing I Put A Spell on You. But you have to hear the original by Screaming Jay Hawkins from 1956 first as a reference point...!!!!
Angelina absolutely nailed Billie Holiday's phrasing and timing. You really need to listen to Billie's version to truly appreciate this one. Omer Bhatti, the dark haired male judge who said she was an old soul, was partially raised by Michael Jackson and has been in and around the music business all his life, so he knows a bit about music. He was interviewed a couple of years after this and talked about what the judges thought about Angelina. It's a short three and a half minute video with the audio in Norwegian, but with English subtitles if you turn on closed captions: th-cam.com/video/j9Fw97Ckvg4/w-d-xo.html It's worth watching.
I’d bet that AJ knew way more than it just being about a ‘sad Sunday’. The song was nicknamed the Hungarian suicide song and it has a very colourful history.
Think so too. But she was a little child and did a very simple explanation... She was fluid in English from the time, she learned to speak. She just loved Billie Holiday singing that and insisted on singing it also, although it is such a sad song.
We didn't have the same words back then .. but she 'broke the Internet' all over the world after THIS song .. which SHE picked out. The next 3 songs are a total wonder and completely brilliant. I would recommend you stay here and watch the other the songs .. all brilliant. I'm a Fool to Want You is next a capella which is a super complex song musicality and she kills it. Then Bang, Bang and finishing with Summertime. there were a couple of months between songs .. where they get all the other contestants to do their things. So with every song you hear surprising improvement in her voice .. as if a year or two had gone by .. Summertime is flawless and gorgeous. You will love it .. none of it takes long .. and I will be shocked if you don't love it. She is totally amazing .. and with no fear that we can see .. and definitely none of the awkwardness children can have when they perform.
I don't think Angelina's mom (Sara Astar) sings - so no duets are likely. But I can name dozens with whom I'd love to hear this vocal prodigy perform a duet! But there are several good mashups on TH-cam of Angelina singing "virtual duets" with original artists she's covered (mostly classic jazz singers like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and Dinah Washington, but also John Legend and more). Check 'em out if you want to be impressed with this youngster.
Yeah before I saw it i thought AJ's was super cute, showed an amazing understanding of singing and music for a 7 year old. After I saw it, it was only more so. She emulated it really well. Showing me what i thought was not a powerful voice yet, wasn't supposed to be, she nailed it really.
Now you must watch her second performance that was acapella and the 3rd and then the last one when she won the competition. Her progress is phenomenal.
“Gloomy Sunday,” came to existence during one of history’s bleakest moments. Written in 1933 by Hungarian pianist and composer Reszõ Seress against the backdrop of the Great Depression and an increasing fascist influence in Hungary, and originally recorded in 1935 by Pál Kalmár, the song is something of a plea for mercy as humanity is at its worst. Seress’ original published lyrics were titled “Vége a világnak,” or “The World Is Ending,” and reflected a growing sense of horror and despair at the state of the world. A key sample lyric translates to “Meadows are coloured red with human blood/There are dead people on the streets everywhere,” just to give a frame of reference for the level of darkness that Seress’ composition harbored. No wonder it’s been blamed for anywhere between 17 and over 100 suicides. To hear “Gloomy Sunday” is to be blanketed in tragic beauty. The song’s minor key melody is at once incredibly catchy and ominously dark, crafted to evoke a sense of despair that transcends language. While Seress’ song became an international hit, eventually being recorded by Billie Holiday in what’s now probably the most famous version of the song, one need only hear the emotion in Kalmár’s gently aching voice to know the pain behind the verses. (Not to mention the vintage crackle of the nearly 90-year-old song gives it a particularly ghostly quality.) Yet its origins stem from something as simple as a breakup, Seress having written the song after the end of a relationship. That the song delved so deep into such harrowing personal feelings initially proved to be an obstacle for the songwriter in his attempt to have it published. One publisher reportedly said, “there is a sort of terrible compelling despair about it” about his reluctance to publish the song. “Gloomy Sunday,” came to existence during one of history’s bleakest moments. That the song delved so deep into such harrowing personal feelings initially proved to be an obstacle for the songwriter in his attempt to have it published. One publisher reportedly said, “there is a sort of terrible compelling despair about it” about his reluctance to publish the song. In some sense, the monstrous stories about “Gloomy Sunday” wreaking havoc seem to be a distraction from the genuine sadness surrounding the song. The landscape in which it was released was one of the darkest of the 20th century, as prosperity declined and iron-fisted hateful authoritarians rose. And we’re in a landscape now, globally, that mirrors the era in too many ways. And Hungary, up through the ’80s, had one of the highest suicide rates of any country in the world, which suggests that “Gloomy Sunday” was merely a reflection of the despair that surrounded it, rather than its cause. Most tragic of all, however, Seress himself dying after jumping off of a building in Budapest in 1968, which makes it the sole concrete connection among all of the stories out there. (There is also a story about the woman who broke up with him, initially inspiring the writing of the song, dying herself after hearing it, though there’s no evidence or documentation of this, just secondhand telephone games with the dead.) Given all the baggage that “Gloomy Sunday” carries, it’s a song that’s easier to analyze than enjoy. Can one simply listen to a song that’s supposedly such a powerful, overwhelmingly dark presence without context. Can it be enjoyed for what it is? It can, possibly. But with the flood of information that’s already been disseminated, there’s more context than song, at this point. In 2019, it can’t be separated from its reputation as “The Hungarian Suicide Song,” for better or for worse. To hear it, however, it’s impossible to shake the lingering eerie feeling that it leaves with you. Beware of its hitchhiking ghosts.
Just a small addition: the original song and the original lyrics. It is completely different from the English translation, because English is not able to convey properly what the original English does. th-cam.com/video/hzLMunEtNT8/w-d-xo.html Gloomy Sunday with a hundred white flowers I was waiting for you my dearest with a prayer A Sunday morning, chasing after my dreams The carriage of my sorrow returned to me without you It is since then that my Sundays have been forever sad Tears my only drink, the sorrow my bread... Gloomy Sunday This last Sunday, my darling please come to me There'll be a priest, a coffin, a catafalque and a winding-sheet There'll be flowers for you, flowers and a coffin Under the blossoming trees it will be my last journey My eyes will be open, so that I could see you for a last time Don't be afraid of my eyes, I'm blessing you even in my death... The last Sunday
I believe the original song lacked the middle passage about "Dreaming, I was only dreaming". This is because when the song came to America it was felt to be too gloomy for commercial performance (no kidding!) and so the "get out" verse about it all being a dream was added. The hauntingly beautiful gloom persists, however, and Angelina captured it here.
After this performance, all the talk about Billie Holiday being reincarnated into her began. It proved she was a 'vocal chameleon, already at 7 years of age. I believe Billie was 29 when she sang it.
She is a musical prodigy started singing when she was 3 years old she recorded her first Studio parents when she was 6 years old singing I who have nothing you should check that out
She's not only 7 years old but singing in English not Norwegian her natural language also Angelina has stated she has never been nervous for any performance regardless of age.
She begged her family since she was five to be on the show but you had to be seven to audition I believe. But her mom was more than proud she knew alright, but she was terrified to what was going to happen after the world hers her. And she has done the best job!

Great reaction - again. Thank you. She started singing when she was 1 1/2 years old. She could probably sing first and then learned to speak.🙃😉🤣😂 Here are the other two songs she sang on Norway's got talent. - Bang Bang th-cam.com/video/HCaDyiqs7Wg/w-d-xo.html - the short version - Nancy Sinatra Cover - Summertime th-cam.com/video/bnpFsCNKzFg/w-d-xo.html - the long version with interviews I've only been following your channel for a short time. Nevertheless, I would like to recommend you another singer from Norway. - AURORA. She will pull you into every song and captivate you. AURORA (Aurora Aksnes) was born on June 15, 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She is a singer, songwriter and producer. AURORA's songs always have a strong message. Often the messages are not very clear either. They can be interpreted so that many people can relate them to themselves. Her movements when singing are extraordinary. This isn't a dance. This is her special way of expression. You can also say that she sings with her whole body. Her excellent music, her brilliant voice and her movements. AURORA's live performances are a total work of art. She is often so into the song that she shakes her body or head uncontrollably (--> Murder song, It happened quiet) and need 2-3 seconds to come back. She is capable of transporting feelings because she allows a look into her heart and soul. Her fans call themselves warriors and weirdos. AURORA once said: People tend to believe quite quickly that something is wrong with them if they're not like the people they see in front of them It's so sad that it doesn't take much for us to really doubt ourselves She was a teen when she answered the question "are some of your songs related (on different albums)?" - it will all make sense when I have finished. - Through The Eyes Of a Child (Live at Nidarosdomen) - th-cam.com/video/ncG9zTzsisE/w-d-xo.html - she sang in norway's biggest cathedral - phenomenal acoustics - angelic voice - Murder song (5,4,3,2,1) - The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert - th-cam.com/video/vh0SWTVwXxw/w-d-xo.html - is it brave to sing a murder song at a Nobel Peace Prize Concert? - It Happened Quiet (Live at The Current) - th-cam.com/video/9U-N6LqzdIM/w-d-xo.html - it's about the rape of a woman - some say - these great harmonies - Lucky (Live at Nidarosdomen) - th-cam.com/video/AmTiqR2_VAw/w-d-xo.html - the song is her way of suicide prevention - The Seed (Official Video - VEVO) - th-cam.com/video/_Mc_OM5oNA8/w-d-xo.html - it's about the climat change - Exist For Love (Official Video - VEVO) - th-cam.com/video/7YDkrJaiCrw/w-d-xo.html - best love song ever!!! - Cure For Me (Official Video - VEVO) - th-cam.com/video/K17df81RL9Y/w-d-xo.html - this cheerfulness of the music - even though she is hurt. - Queendom (Official Video) - th-cam.com/video/wULeXeQkqd0/w-d-xo.html - about her queendom?? - Warrior (Live on the Honda Stage) - th-cam.com/video/I3dvC4tDI3s/w-d-xo.html - it is for her warrios - Heathens (Live Performance) - th-cam.com/video/utKR7tAm0hg/w-d-xo.html - another incredibly I usually prefer her live performances. But in these cases the VEVO video is more impressive. I am sure that her lyrics will impress you. Her voice is wonderful. Look at the titles and my brief information about the songs. Does that arouse your interest? I hope that I have piqued your curiosity and you enjoy AURORA. Have a nice day and Greetings from Germany
@@ckh57 I apologize I didn't mean to say she's not 16 you're absolutely right I adore Angelina I know you do too she's so beautiful and fall I think she could be a supermodel LOL

JPM. Definitely react to Summertime on NGT. Song was composed in the 1930’s by George Gershwin for his opera “Porgy and Bess” It has been covered hundreds of times over the years but not like the barefoot angel covers it. I cry every time I hear it.
Thank you for your sincere reaction and I look forward to more. If you want to really blow your mind, listen to the original. After watching this, I questioned how? Reincarnation seems to be the only logical answer.
You're right about there being more to the song than just a sad Sunday. The singer is contemplating committing suicide to be with his/her recently deceased lover. Kinda gloomy! I don't think Angelina knew this, as she seems to have copied the words by ear and doesn't understand them too well. (Her English quickly got better.)
Whilst be interviewed a couple of years later she was asked if she, at this age, new what the song meant and she was insistent that she did. This girl was way beyond her years and extremely perceptive. I don’t think she could have sung the song the ways he did were she not to have a real insight into its melancholy.
Son unos HOTBABY.Uno de los mejores conciertos ❤️ Son unos de los mejores conciertos, no puede ir pero de tan solo verlos desde pantalla 3, se que estuvoa sorprendente...

Excited to continue down the rabbit hole
It takes real guts for anyone to take on an iconic jazz song like this, much less a 7 year old who has never been on a stage before. Watch the original, she gets the feeling of it dead on.
Angelina doesn't get nervous on stage - she just wants to sing.
Oh, almost forgot. I'll sub for Angilina and a New Angel. Congratulations. 🇺🇸👍💯🔥⭐
Bubble voice is called vibrato.
Mesmerizing
She is never nervous.
She won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8 years old she beat adults
There are no words to descibe her abilities. By the way, she has said that she has never been uneasy or frightened to sing in public, and she has proved that time and time again, in small and very large venues (a stadium of 40,000 with Nora Jones, or millions on national TV). At Angelina's age, she surely knew what the song meant to her, but not that the song had been banned as the "Hungarian Suicide Song!" This song was made popular by Billie Holiday, Angelina's idol. If you listen to them singing together, Angie is able to produce the same sounds as Billie. Angie went on in NGT to win at age 8.

She's jazz incarnate, an ancient soul come back to sing new life into old songs.
The Baby Faced Asassan! She is a killer. She tore the heart out of that blond, female judge. Great reaction! 🇺🇸👍💯🔥⭐
I suggest you continue with her Norway's Got Talent journey. Watch her get better with every performance.
She could be a supermodel check out her rendition of My Funny Valentine when she is 16
Nice reaction. & nice comments too. Know you still have 3 more from that NGT she won.
(What Angie said about “Gloomy Sunday” choice)
“The reason I chose this song is completely random. I love jazz, but “Gloomy Sunday “ was random. It was a night I could not sleep and my mother was stressed that I was
awake long after midnight. Then I borrowed my mom's iPad, where I wanted to listen to jazz on TH-cam before I fell asleep. Then came a picture of a beautiful lady screaming
at the sky and with her eyes closed. I heard the song “Gloomy Sunday” that night and then I had to hear it every day. I love the melody. I understood well what the text
was about because I know English well. Every time I sang it I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words. When I sang it for mom, she said that this song is nice, but that it was incredibly sad song.” (Sara, Angie's mom was asked what she
thought when she saw her on the screen backstage, (she was wiping her tears when watching) “I knew I had just lost my little girl to the world”) The family has always
been very close & since that even more protective of her from the entertainment industry’s vultures & hyena's.

Angelina Jordan ASTAR (the name says it all), this sweet little norwegian girl (now 16 y old) is imo the best singer on this planet! 🤩
And therefore i guess it is even more unlikely that her mother Sara would sing along with Angelina 😉
@@tanja3921 👍😉
Angelina has stated on more than one occasion that she never gets nervous and singing is like breathing to her.
Her grandmother was a big jazz fan and played ir\t while Angelina was growing up. Obviously, she liked it and paid incredible attention to it.
Her grandmother is still certainly listening to jazz :)
She loves the oldies Billie Holiday and Etta James, Sinatra Freddy Mercury, Elvis , Micheal Jackson ect
Grandmother is an Artist

Gloomy Sunday was known as the suicide song back when miss holiday sang it
You should check out summertime that was the final song she sang in Norway's got talent.

Every time I sang it I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words. When I sang it for mom, she said that this song is nice, but that it was incredibly sad song. "
In a interview after this performance Angelina's mom was asked why she was crying during her performance?? Were they happy tears??
Mom said; " They were happy tears but they were also sad tears because I know I just lost my daughter to the world at that point in time.

Never have I seen Angelina go so deeply into this world as she does here. She is just immediately in it and I from the first note am there with her!

That would be Angelina for me. No Doubt about it! ♥
If you only had one song.
Nice! I hadn’t seen this interview before, thanks :-)
@@pietersbart My pleasure.

You should check the version of Billy Holiday and you will see the similarity. Angelina is a gift from God! Great reaction!

(There is also a story about the woman who broke up with him, initially inspiring the writing of the song, dying herself after hearing it, though there’s no evidence or documentation of this, just secondhand telephone games with the dead.)
Given all the baggage that “Gloomy Sunday” carries, it’s a song that’s easier to analyze than enjoy.
It is completely different from the English translation, because English is not able to convey properly what the original English does. th-cam.com/video/hzLMunEtNT8/w-d-xo.html
Gloomy Sunday with a hundred white flowers
I was waiting for you my dearest with a prayer
A Sunday morning, chasing after my dreams
The carriage of my sorrow returned to me without you
It is since then that my Sundays have been forever sad
Tears my only drink, the sorrow my bread...
Gloomy Sunday
This last Sunday, my darling please come to me
There'll be a priest, a coffin, a catafalque and a winding-sheet
There'll be flowers for you, flowers and a coffin
Under the blossoming trees it will be my last journey
My eyes will be open, so that I could see you for a last time
Don't be afraid of my eyes, I'm blessing you even in my death...
The last Sunday
Thank you! For the education.
@@fredneecher1746 Angelina always captures the essence of the songs she sings. That appears to be her main priority.
After this performance, all the talk about Billie Holiday being reincarnated
into her began. It proved she was a 'vocal chameleon, already at 7 years of
age. I believe Billie was 29 when she sang it.
She is a musical prodigy started singing when she was 3 years old she recorded her first Studio parents when she was 6 years old singing I who have nothing you should check that out
actually it was 18 months.
You should check out the Billie holiday version and you'll be amazed how similar they are. Nice reaction

She's not only 7 years old but singing in English not Norwegian her natural language also Angelina has stated she has never been nervous for any performance regardless of age.
Try her songs. Feeling Good.. OR she's great at I Put a spell on you... You won't forget her singing that song i promise lol
Yes there is more to that song he was ok not to tell her
She begged her family since she was five to be on the show but you had to be seven to audition I believe. But her mom was more than proud she knew alright, but she was terrified to what was going to happen after the world hers her. And she has done the best job!
In my opinion as an id who believes in the next world and reincarnation is a soul reincarnation of Billy Holiday not just she adores her 🤣 🗣🎙👑🎷

Here are the other two songs she sang on Norway's got talent.
- Bang Bang th-cam.com/video/HCaDyiqs7Wg/w-d-xo.html - the short version - Nancy Sinatra Cover
- Summertime th-cam.com/video/bnpFsCNKzFg/w-d-xo.html - the long version with interviews
I've only been following your channel for a short time.
AURORA once said: People tend to believe quite quickly that something is wrong with them if they're not like the people they see in front of them
It's so sad that it doesn't take much for us to really doubt ourselves
She was a teen when she answered the question "are some of your songs related (on different albums)?" - it will all make sense when I have finished.
- Through The Eyes Of a Child (Live at Nidarosdomen) - th-cam.com/video/ncG9zTzsisE/w-d-xo.html - she sang in norway's biggest cathedral - phenomenal acoustics - angelic voice
- Murder song (5,4,3,2,1) - The 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert - th-cam.com/video/vh0SWTVwXxw/w-d-xo.html - is it brave to sing a murder song at a Nobel Peace Prize Concert?
- It Happened Quiet (Live at The Current) - th-cam.com/video/9U-N6LqzdIM/w-d-xo.html - it's about the rape of a woman - some say - these great harmonies
- Lucky (Live at Nidarosdomen) - th-cam.com/video/AmTiqR2_VAw/w-d-xo.html - the song is her way of suicide prevention
- The Seed (Official Video - VEVO) - th-cam.com/video/_Mc_OM5oNA8/w-d-xo.html - it's about the climat change
- Exist For Love (Official Video - VEVO) - th-cam.com/video/7YDkrJaiCrw/w-d-xo.html - best love song ever!!!
- Warrior (Live on the Honda Stage) - th-cam.com/video/I3dvC4tDI3s/w-d-xo.html - it is for her warrios
- Heathens (Live Performance) - th-cam.com/video/utKR7tAm0hg/w-d-xo.html - another incredibly
I usually prefer her live performances. But in these cases the VEVO video is more impressive.
I am sure that her lyrics will impress you. Her voice is wonderful. Look at the titles and my brief information about the songs. Does that arouse your interest?
I hope that I have piqued your curiosity and you enjoy AURORA.

JPM. Definitely react to Summertime on NGT. Song was composed in the 1930’s by George Gershwin for his opera “Porgy and Bess” It has been covered hundreds of times over the years but not like the barefoot angel covers it. I cry every time I hear it.
