- Set in Chicago, where a central network of computers connects everyone and everything, Watch Dogs explores the impact of technology within our society. Using the city as your weapon, you will embark on a personal mission to inflict your own brand of justice.
Chicago's overarching network is known as the Central Operating System (ctOS), and it controls almost all of the city's technology and information - including key data on all of the city's residents.
You play as Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker and former thug, whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy. While seeking justice for those events, you'll monitor and hack those around you by manipulating the ctOS from the palm of your hand. You'll access omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control traffic lights and public transportation to stop the enemy... and more.
All recordings are on Xbox 360 using a Hauppauge HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition or using Xsplit on a custom gaming PC built by Cowboy himself.

There is an exploit for the shell game. After he finishes and you're at the point where you select the cup you think it's under, hit the pause button and you'll be able to see the ball through the cup.

Is this really a glitch or more of a developer oversight? Either way, it is a good exploit.
Once you get ATM Hack Boost Plus, walk around the Merlaut hotel to make hundreds of thousands of dollars in a couple of minutes. I only needed about 3 laps around the hotel to get more than 500,000 dollars.

The upper floors are missing some furnitures. I couldn't get to the hotel rooms to see what they look like.
I wanted to sneak into Quinn's "safe room" so I can surprise him, but it's always locked.

With the Shell Game if you pause it after the cups have finished moving and have the brightness right up YOU CAN SEE THE OUTLINE OF THE BALL... EVERY TIME. NEVER LOSE.
I just redownloaded the game, really good memories and waaaay easier to play lol. I remember money being such a problem for me but I legit got everything without a hour or two into the game knowing what to do based on experience. But I guess I’m just here to say how nostalgic this game is, a shame they didn’t pursue a sequel with aiden. This story was actually super good and overall just lovable investment. As much fun as this game is, I feel like the whole "hacking bank accounts for money" thing, while a cool mechanic, is way too overpowered. The amount of money you get early on is way too high, especially for the cost of weapons. I had bought every weapon before completing the 4th mission, and I didn't even realise it. If they make a Watch Dogs 2, I hope they lower the cash you earn, and raise the price of weapons and ammo, as well as make ammo harder to come by, to more justify the weapon stores.
This game is a sandbox, your like the mayor, do you what you want, fuck all DAH money ::
***** i know, right? like any sandbox game the big advantage is you can grab what the dead guys leave behind. i watched a playthru and was shocked at all the variety of weapons that he was shot at with and i figured, why doesn't he grab EVERY GUN dropped? i watched him spend a fortune and i never saw him with more than about 11,000.
as re money? the guy was struggling. it was a 'no commentary' playthu [ i prefer them tbh w sandbox games] so i guess it depends on how some ppl play. same as GTAV.. you WANT to make cash then it's pretty easy on the shares market.

I thought it was pretty fair, you would have to spend hours hacking people and taking their money before getting enough to buy every gun. I got it from doing side missions.

The definitive edition of this game was great! The city felt alive, game had fun mechanics, and an intriguing story.
A Tip For The Cup Game, When You Pick The Cup That Is The Ball, Press Start, With Your Start X-Ray Vision, You Could See See Through The Cups, Allowing You To Find The Ball.
Play the shell game in the Wards after the guy moves the cups, go to the pause menu and depending on the brightness setting you can see which cup is covering the ball. It's not as easy to see if you play the shell game in other parts of the city for some reason.
I just love T boning cars in Watch Dogs. They go so far sometimes...
Yes! Finally some one who knows what a good gun is, ACR, And the pump action grenade launcher, are my go to weapons for anything, I would have included the destroyer as I use it the most, as for anti vehicle weapons, the destroyer is almost a long range grenade launcher

In the shell game, when you hit the pause button it shows where the ball is without really paying attention. but, the farther to the left it is the harder it is to see.
notice the camero style car at 1:21 - did you notice what happened with the same car at 1:24 ? I would say you had a player in your game.

Great tip on the shell game. On these open world games I tend to do the sidequests first to get better gear before playing the main quest. This one tip will make it so much quicker. Thanks.

I completed the ball in a cup one without slow motion it took a bit of time
if you pause the game ehen playing the shell game u can see in the cups.you have to look close at it because u see it right before the pause menu loads up
but the brightness to Max and you will see the ball under line

In the shell game, you could just press the pause button after the guy is done shuffling the cups, when paused you can see through the cups
I used to press pause for the shell game & it just showed me which ball the cup was in

alot of this stuff is changed based on what difficulty your playing on.
I know a way to win the shell game every time. So what u have to do is let the guy do his thing then pause the game and make your brightness to 100 percent then exit out of the pause menu and look at the cups then pause the game again and u should see the ball in one of the cups.
I have watch dogs it's good but need to make it better wepons any way to have more fun and able to fly planes more realizitic guns

Not a GTA Clone revolving around a phone that changes a billboard by a touch of a button.. Three: ...Yeeeeaaaahhhhh I sort of agree with you there. More **realistic* guns might make this a bit more better...

by th shell game there there is way to win without even looking, you need to go to press the start button and you can see the ball. If it does not work the turn the brightness op a little.

If u press start at the ball game you can kind of see the ball but look carefully. Cause this game has X-ray vision in its pause screen
I didn't know I could use that ability while in the Betting game! No wonder it was hard getting past the higher levels! I did after a bit of hard trying manage to get past them but I really could have needed this info XD

At the shellgame if he asks what cup go to pause menu then you can see the ball

On the balls and cups game: you can also turn up the brightness to max. And the paus the game. You will then see where the ball is. :)

There's one thing I need to know. Does it matter if your rep is high or low? Like what is the benefit of having a high one and what is the consequence of having a low one? I'm just wondering. But I keep mine high just for good measures.
Basically if it's low more random citizens will recognize you and call the cops, and you'll be show on the news more. Like mine is the worst it can get and every time in walk in a gun shop or clothing store the tv inside turns on and talks about Aiden being a bad guy and 9/10 times the owner will call the cops on me and I have to escape the scans
Yeah if you have a bad reputation its hater to buy guns and amo because the shop owner might press the silent alarm. I recommend trying to gain a good reputation! It makes it harder for the police to find you as well because people dont report you.

Escape the police by getting in a boat. They don't follow you and you just have to shoot the guy in a helicopter. Drive off and you'll be safe.
