When a theory is busted, you should just kinda accept that the theory's not canon.
Though, it was an interesting and awesome concept.
Its obvious Watchdogs and Assassins Creed are in the same universe, just look at the Abstergos CEO in the game and ex-employees. :/
Yeah, its one of those things, where the game has so many people involved.. It very well could be some devs wanted it and built it to be in the same universe, while others did not.. It has/had a huge development team..

What Aiden wears to cover his lower face is not a bandana, it's a balaclava.

Bandana is literally a piece of cloth, usually worn on the forehead and not on your face.
A balaclava is almost a full mask that also covers your neck, in some cases, like a turtleneck. It's used a lot for winter sports, for obvious reasons, and a lot in military games as a mask.
Remember that thing every evil thief usually wears to cover their face in videogames and movies? That's a balaclava.

Watch Dogs 1 AND 2 are both amazing games. I didn't pay attention to the hype train of WD1 so I wasn't let down by it at all. It was a great game and WD2 is even better!

The watch dogs logo is very similar to aiden and marcus' first letter. The big M resembles to marcus, while the A resembles to aiden. Try to draw on a piece of paper, it's very... weird

In watch dogs 2 you do kill a few people because in one mission your friend is killed by a rival gang and you get revenge by killing the ones who were involved in the murder that is probably why the mission is called "Eye For an Eye"
You have the option to either knock them out with the thunderball you do take them down or shoot them in the head

for number fact 4, walter white had cancer and low income all around. there's a difference to Aiden. Aiden still went against his family therapist Yolanda, and still put his family in danger multiple of times all while searching for Lena's killer. kinda hard to root for someonr so ready to put everyone's schedule of life in the way when he can't even go to a single meeting with the therapist.
fact number five, Aiden was a professional fixer. which means hitman, theif and all around jack of trades.

Everybody is wrongly comparing this to Assassin's Creed... It's definitely Splinter Cell with a new title. Check out the early tech demos for Splinter Cell Conviction.. It was ditched in favor of the game we actually got but became it's own game.. Watch Dogs.
