Hey everyone! This is my first day of the 2024 snowboarding season! I cruised over to Trollhaugen in Wisconsin early in the morning to get some park laps in and had such a fun day. It was great to warm up the body and shake off the rust in Trolls beginner park and once the Valhalla park opened up, I cruised over there to be humbled. That's why he's successful. His audience doesn't consist of snowboarders. There aren't enough of them to reach 1m subscribers. This channel isn't actually about snowboarding. It's more of an ASMR type thing where people watch vicariously as they fall asleep and the videos play on a loop. Same way all the overgrown lawn mowing channels get big.
You know what I love about these videos?
It‘s not just the typical „look at me do crazy things“ social media bullshit but a relatable person enjoying snowboarding and working their way up.

Honestly I’m a glades skier but I find a lot of enjoyment in watching your shorts, and this long form content is great!! It’s honestly motivating me to maybe get a little bit out of my comfort zone and try out the parks here in Quebec, it seems like fun! Love from Canada 🇨🇦

If you're ever on the east coat, Magic Mountain probably has some great technical tree runs in Vermont. It's a super local vibe there like the one in this video. It's also the mountain I grew up on so I am definitely biased lol
