A Very nice review that went to the point!!!! I just got this chrono one week ago and only paid 38.00 USD plus taxes. and I feel extremely satisfied with it. Is not my daily watch coz I have other 250+ chronos in my collection but I can say this one is a LOT OF WATCH FOR YOUR MONEY!!!! I own several economy chronos from the 60s and 70s from brand names like Wittnauer, Gruen, Waltham, Tissot, and others, and many of them were equipped with the ubiquuotous Valjoux 7733, and they were not as well built and finished as this Pagani, and they were more expensive- over 75.00 USD of those years, came with a plastic crystal, and had no Water Resistance ratings at all. Pagani is, for a budget brand, establishing itslef like the Quality and Feature leader of its segment. And I am a very happy owner of 12 Pagani watches already, all of them either Chronos or Diver watches.
I bought this watch a years ago for about $65. It was packaged in the nicest Pagani box I have seen. I immediately thought it was an original design and thereafter found the same watch you discovered. I find it hilarious that Pagani did such a good job with an homage of a watch costing $50.000. Of course the Audemars Piguet is 24 carat gold but who cares?
Patek multi complication. Looking the part. I have the caddison version this is quite amazing. Slightly more but you get the rear exhibition glass over a superb looking seagle movement with swan neck. Pagani do make some nice pieces. 🎉
Definitely getting one, I've wanted a chronograph for a while but I was always afraid of how complex the movement is on the real mechanical ones, since realistically I would almost never utilize the chronograph features anyway. Mecha-quartz is a perfect balance because it still gives you the smooth seconds which I love

I’ve been wearing the steel Daytona homage with white dial for 2 years. I really like it. I did change the bracelet to an oysterflex style rubber strap I got off eBay. I much prefer it to the original.
Not a big fan of the dial wish they'd drop the 'Sport' maybe even the brand name text like on some other models. That said, the case is pretty interesting although it's very polished. Cheers for the review Aviv.
That's a pretty watch. I doubt many people would eecognize the AP, so youre not going to impress anyone with your clone. It's one thing to to copy the design, it's another to execute the build well. This looks like it was executed well. And I dig those flying butteess lugs. This might be my first VK63 - I hate the subdial selection, but this one almost makes it bearable. Nice watch, great video.
Only watch enthusiasts will recognize the AP design, but it is super clear if you know. For the other 99.9% of folks, they'll see a very handsome watch for a ridiculously low price. For me, it is more of a fake than a homage. I don't agree with stealing someone's original, and beautiful, design. I'm biased, I have an AP Code 11.59.
Why so much hate for 24hr dials? Just get out of USA for a while and spend time in countries with proper 24hr schedules, that are unambiguous! The AM/PM thing can be really annoying once you get used to 24 hour time, and NOBODY outside of USA calls "military time", nobody!
I bought it a while ago. Nice watch. The only thing is I don't know how the batteries must be replaced. The back has screws, but it seems to be one piece with the front with the middle being sandwiched between. Will the middle slide to replace the battery?

This watch is fantastic, but my only complaint is that it would have been better if it had a screw-down crown since it doesn't have any crown guards. I'd hate to accidentally knock the crown on mine.
30-40 m water depth does not mean that you have to or can dive that deep, but that it can withstand the pressure at 30 m water depth. However, this pressure is also reached at much lower water depths, because water does not stand still. This pressure is reached much more quickly by moving underwater. For example, if you make strong arm movements at a depth of 5 m, you may already exceed this pressure load.
The AP chrono version costs £74300 and is made from white gold. The time only version in steel starts at £22700. Now obviously we can’t really compare these on any level. There is however an interesting watch by Timex, the Giorgio Galli S2. The lugs are not straight copies, the watch is a time only 38mm piece with titanium parts and a Sellita SW200. The dial is where it really sets itself apart from many watches out there: black enamel with a silver ring, a bit of Polerouter in there.

The Seiko/TMI VK63 is a quartz calibre, and a damned good one at that! My own VK63 watch, a Pagani PD1676, homage to the "Newman's Own" Daytona (did not come with salad dressing or pizza though!), has been holding time within +0.5 second since 10 March 2024 (DST switch). It is now 5 may, almost 2 months! That means it beats by far any 300 dollar plus Bulova Precinionist or Lunar Pilot (400 to 800 bucks) with their 262KHz calibres!

Pardon me, it is the silly "AM/PM" system, that is totally ambiguous and useless! You must be another US-American, who has never been outside of USA, because those are the ONLY people on the planet, who complain about 24hr dials! They are not useless, but you need to be able to read and use the REAL full calendar time, because a day has 24 hours. Extremely useful for reading international travel schedules, and in Northern (or Southern) latitudes, when it becomes impossible to tell after a nap, whether that "7" on the dial is AM or PM!
Without going further in the video and WITHOUT CHEATING., it is a copy - "hommage... ^^" - of the 11.59 from Audemars Piguet > Ref. 26393BC.OO.A002KB.02. François-Henri Bennahmias the former CEO who has just left AP for other heavens spoke about it again recently with the French TH-camr "Frank sans C" I'll see when I continue to look at her that I'm right.

I had this one on my radar, but then decided to go for the Pagani-Daytona homage.

I totally agree discreet branding is ideal. In fact my favourite piece is the PD-1692 V1 which only has the logo and minimal text.

30-40 m water depth does not mean that you have to or can dive that deep, but that it can withstand the pressure at 30 m water depth. However, this pressure is also reached at much lower water depths, because water does not stand still. This pressure is reached much more quickly by moving underwater. For example, if you make strong arm movements at a depth of 5 m, you may already exceed this pressure load.

The lugs look like they are welded on and not machined as part of the case. I would expect them to not hold up very well. Or do my eyes deceive me?
