MW2019 had too many angles. Black Ops 6 has no angles. The maps are just big open bowls with sightlines where you die to headglitches. There's no flow. There are no three-lanes or four-square maps. The maps were designed by AI or just ripped from the campaign, they weren't designed for multiplayer.
Should’ve just did what MW3 did. Bring in all the maps from BO1 all the way to Cold War. At this point I’m not confident that they can make actual good maps.

Every single map is like a small maze. I can't learn the flow patterns, there are none. You can literally just vault or climb on any object, cross any map within 10 seconds, every match feels like free for all, I spawn closer to enemies than my teammates, forget the well thought out and tested 3 lane maps of the past, now we have random AI generated maps with 0 flow, 0 skill. It feels like they just hired someone to make a small area in a 3d rendering, and the person making it had no idea it was going to be used as a FPS map. Payback is horrible, 10 lanes on a map smaller than nuketown with a movement speed twice as fast, tight corridors with multiple lines of sight. Windows lining the exterior walls to be able to see in the entire building. Don't even get me started on subsonic. Fast movement speed, small maps, no lanes, no flow, bad spawns. There isn't a single good thing about these maps

Its not just the maps. Movement is so fast that any enemy can be anywhere in the map at any moment and this just kills the flow. Theres no telling the general area where enemies spawn anymore. Combine that with small maps with millions lines of sights. Probably the worst MP Black Ops.

We just spawn camped an entire clan in Subsonic until they all quit on hardcore hardpoint. We all had 20+ k/d and they were literally spawning knife distance to us all because we had one guy on the other side.
I think steam support is aware of this and will grand you a refund. Activision does this on purpose so it's harder to refund or to discourage doing so.

I played the multiplayer for the first time today and dude, I’ll have a match where I’m dominating lobbies and then the next I play against the sweatiest player that have been playing since this game came out and haven’t taken a shower yet. The maps in BO6 are mid in my opinion.

It’s called skill based matchmaking. You dominate in a lobby with lvl 1s you will be put against higher level layers. Takes around 10 games to get accurate skill based matchmaking
Yeah, i notice that as well. I have built my own anti tryhard clas for the sweats, if people are chill one round i go with my fun grind, but if not i just use the XM4 with 100 round mag and max attachments. That shuts them up straight away lol.
These maps have wayy too many check spots. A million objects to head glitch from and these maps are structured in a way that a single head glitch can lock down an entire side of the map. Certain spawns are just unfair, to the point where the enemy can start with good positios available, and lockdown an entire side, and due to all the head glitches available, they can change positions repeatedly and always be safe. Y’all have been designing maps for years and somehow managed to do this bag SMDHHH.

Most mw19 maps aren’t big ie: vacant, killhouse, scrapyard, al raab, Cheshire park, crash, gun runner, hackney yard, hardhat, khandor hideout, rammaza, sudal harbor, talsik backlot etc. And the actual big ones were mostly only for 10v10. Must’ve been that popular of a game that y’all are still bringing it up 5 years later oh so inaccurately. Most people played snd actually and these maps played well for it since they were all quite literally three lane simple maps with not too much clutter. Even the bigger ones
the maps are dog shit. it's like the devs have a clear cut and obvious set of guidelines on what makes good call of duty maps and intentionally choose to ignore it in favor of constantly trying to reinvent the wheel and fix what's not broken. can't wait for them to cave in a few weeks and release all the classic map remakes season 1 when they realize everyone hates the new ones.
Im so glad you mentioned the rage quitting. It happens extremely consistently. The maps are not designed to be able to flip the score or flow of the match. Once youre losing, there is no coming back.
I loved bo6 for the first few hours until I realised every map apart from maybe one or two were actually enjoyable and had some flow and tactic to it. And its just scud, payback, babylon, on REPEAT. To revive it they COULD look at the map voting data for the previous BLOPs and remake the 5 most popular as free DLCs.

This cod is trash just like the last 4. . The desync is crazy, packet loss, packet burst, inconsistent hit reg problems, audio is hit and miss, maps are dog shit, spawns are weird depending on the game mode. And the meta is laying on the fucking ground. So glad I didnt pay for this trash.

They're not going to remove any of the crappy maps so lets just hope Standoff, raid, nuke town, express etc etc come sooner rather than later. Lol hadn't even tried BO6 multiplayer. As soon as I heard the release maps were all small maps I said forget it. Sounds like it's even worse than I thought. This is where CODs been heading though for awhile. They're ignoring part of their fan base by taking out big team battle on larger maps. It was optional and took the hyper out of the game. I preferred it in every way. If anything, you had variety of maps and play play styles. And Groundwar is NOT a replacement. It's a scrambled mess. I guess it's easier to throw together a half dozen half baked small maps without a thought process and call it good.

Zombies is ok. Good thing these HUD Options are present so I don't have a shit ton of things on the screen. What kills it a bit for me, is there's no separate level system like Bo3. (Zombies level, MP level). Warzone meleeing and doesn't let me lock on to melee hit them. Lags too. Apparently you can't play zombies offline, but I haven't tried that to see for myself

The maps are definitely terrible. Too many head glitch spots too many flanks so u can’t hold down areas. Some maps have head glitches leading right to your teams spawn it’s unbearable

I played the multiplayer for the first time today and dude, I’ll have a match where I’m dominating lobbies and then the next I play against the sweatiest player that have been playing since this game came out and haven’t taken a shower yet. The maps in BO6 are mid in my opinion.

It’s called skill based matchmaking. You dominate in a lobby with lvl 1s you will be put against higher level layers. Takes around 10 games to get accurate skill based matchmaking
Yeah, i notice that as well. I have built my own anti tryhard clas for the sweats, if people are chill one round i go with my fun grind, but if not i just use the XM4 with 100 round mag and max attachments. That shuts them up straight away lol.

These maps have wayy too many check spots. A million objects to head glitch from and these maps are structured in a way that a single head glitch can lock down an entire side of the map. Certain spawns are just unfair, to the point where the enemy can start with good positios available, and lockdown an entire side, and due to all the head glitches available, they can change positions repeatedly and always be safe. Y’all have been designing maps for years and somehow managed to do this bag SMDHHH.
I wasn't planning on buying this crap, but now I won't buy it even more.

Most mw19 maps aren’t big ie: vacant, killhouse, scrapyard, al raab, Cheshire park, crash, gun runner, hackney yard, hardhat, khandor hideout, rammaza, sudal harbor, talsik backlot etc. And the actual big ones were mostly only for 10v10. Must’ve been that popular of a game that y’all are still bringing it up 5 years later oh so inaccurately. Most people played snd actually and these maps played well for it since they were all quite literally three lane simple maps with not too much clutter. Even the bigger ones

the maps are dog shit. it's like the devs have a clear cut and obvious set of guidelines on what makes good call of duty maps and intentionally choose to ignore it in favor of constantly trying to reinvent the wheel and fix what's not broken. can't wait for them to cave in a few weeks and release all the classic map remakes season 1 when they realize everyone hates the new ones.
Im so glad you mentioned the rage quitting. It happens extremely consistently. The maps are not designed to be able to flip the score or flow of the match. Once youre losing, there is no coming back.
I loved bo6 for the first few hours until I realised every map apart from maybe one or two were actually enjoyable and had some flow and tactic to it. And its just scud, payback, babylon, on REPEAT.
To revive it they COULD look at the map voting data for the previous BLOPs and remake the 5 most popular as free DLCs.

This cod is trash just like the last 4. . The desync is crazy, packet loss, packet burst, inconsistent hit reg problems, audio is hit and miss, maps are dog shit, spawns are weird depending on the game mode. And the meta is laying on the fucking ground. So glad I didnt pay for this trash.

Lol hadn't even tried BO6 multiplayer. As soon as I heard the release maps were all small maps I said forget it. Sounds like it's even worse than I thought. This is where CODs been heading though for awhile. They're ignoring part of their fan base by taking out big team battle on larger maps. It was optional and took the hyper out of the game. I preferred it in every way. If anything, you had variety of maps and play play styles. And Groundwar is NOT a replacement. It's a scrambled mess. I guess it's easier to throw together a half dozen half baked small maps without a thought process and call it good.

I’ve learned with most modern pvp games if you’re not running with a full squad youre going to get the worst lobbies. Either they’ll put you in game where you’re losing already or you’ll get the worst teammates

Zombies is ok. Good thing these HUD Options are present so I don't have a shit ton of things on the screen. What kills it a bit for me, is there's no separate level system like Bo3. (Zombies level, MP level). Warzone meleeing and doesn't let me lock on to melee hit them. Lags too. Apparently you can't play zombies offline, but I haven't tried that to see for myself
