This map is real hard as hell on chaos difficulty consider that you don't have any full restore on the map at the start and you need to breakthrough the gate with low renbou guage. Ridiculously, 5 attack hits from playable officer is enough to send you to death(4-8 hits for normal officer).
I'm still clueless over the fact that I played DW6 with the original dialogue font than this one, and yet I managed to play Ma Chao's musou mode with the greatsword instead of a spear.
It is objectively better, yes. Not in terms of graphics obviously, but still better. It is basically almost same thing except for the new movesets/musou modes for 6 characters... and those make all the difference in liking the game or not. They are: Ma Chao, Yue Ying, Cao Pi, Zhang He, Taishi Ci, and Ling Tong. Besides Yueying and Zhang He, to me, the other 4 are so memorable I don't believe I would like DW6 without them. Zhang Liao, Gan Ning, Sun Shangxiang, Lu Bu... those are the other 4 characters that are in DW6 vanilla with musou modes I remember fondly. So with DW6 Special, my experience was roughly 2x's more enjoyable. This is an experience that people who did not get DW6 Special missed out on (which is actually the majority of people).
Because of the PS2 limitation, the battles are less crowded in the Special version. PS3 version has more officers to fight in battles, but less levels compared to the Special version. (Characters like Ma Chao and Ling Tong have unique exclusive battles like Tong Gate and Ruxukou)
@@Megumi_Bandicoot Wait, I'm a little confused. In an order to play Cao Pi, Ma Chao, and Ling Tong on PS3, I must own a Special Version, instead of playing the PS2 version?
What can I say, I LOVE THIS GAME!!
Thanks for the Nostalgia
That Sword sfx when slashing the enemy is just Beautiful.
I like this guy. After the war end he trade his sword for a horse to travel.

Yeah that was always killer on playing this on harder difficulties if you can't get to an Ointment to get your Renbu maxed out.

"This is a good horse. I'll take it." should of immediately cut to him riding the horse away without paying.
That would disrespect justice

I hope that His Great Sword will be back in DW9
Yuusari Amberground it was a fun weapon tbh.
Kung-Fu Kenny i thought DW already dying after 5.
well for extra musou its enough
Your hope is dying bro... They don't bring that sword back till DW 10
They wouldn't and probably never... DW 6 fucked up the most weapon and this included where Ma Chao is supposed to be a Spear main.
Revenge meant killing Cao Cao, yet “closure” also has Ma Chao killing Cao Cao?
Yep, because his father, Ma Teng killed under Cao Cao's hands.
🤝
Is the special version better than the one released for ps3?
Only in that it has more musou modes. It plays worse than it does on PS3.

@@PuppetMaster1 You can play them on PS3. They just have a story mode and unique weapons on PS2.
