@justinsixx90 he would have a hard time keeping the ice from melting. However, I don't believe it was a "stone." Whatever it was that he dropped had to be too small for the camera to pick up or was something translucent. Perhaps a small BB, or small glass marble

@@Mr11ESSE111 we all know that it’s not real, but to figure out how they developed the trick and the slight of hand is simply amazing it’s self. We should all admire magicians. 90% of the population has never and will never work so hard at one thing in there entire life. Now you’ve got a man that can figure out how they make these tricks possible is double amazing. Some day we as a people have to stop hating and say you know what, job well done or you did that. Just stop hating on people because you can’t do it or figure the tricks out! Sheeeeessshhh!!!
Thank you for making this excellent presentation. This is more than just revealing magic tricks, really you are teaching critical thinking. The whole world is a stage.
The Shin Lim card trick has an obvious live key applied. His shirt was most likely green, keyed out, and color filled to black. I've been doing video production professionally for 14 years and I can spot a key a mile away.
No, he had an assistant either below or behind out of view of the camera..difference between Shim and someone like Criss Angel, he doesn't pass on as being a magician but rather a master of sleight of hand
with all due respect, you got this one wrong. if you put a scope on it you see the blacks are really crushed on his video, so its easy to get a hand with a "show black" glove to slide up and place the card onto the card in his hand. matter of fact, if you can, record that part in davinci, go to color grading and boost/raise the blacks and tell me what you see...
Great analysis... I've only watched the first explanation so far and would like to add something. At the angle the cables are connected, they have to hold way more than half of the magicians weight. If the angles between them are 120°, they would hold the whole weight each, as they pull against each other to remain at that angle. More if the angle increases.
Yep, very true. I may have caused confusion, what I meant was the tension in the wire calculated from the following equations:: Σ Fy=0 : Tcosθ Σ Fx=0 : Tsinθ Will be divided amongst the 2 wires.
Wow, I actually guessed the contact lenses one right. I don't know anything about magic, but I have worn a lot of contact lenses. Cheaper ones move about more freely, and can end up on top of your eyes quite easily
Or, to do #6 FAR more easily, just use a force deck of one card, since everyone on camera would know what is going on, and that the 2 of Diamonds was the card, because they are ALL that card, and all the stooges know this. Ta-da!
I hate tricks that require camera cuts. If it can't be performed on stage it's not real magic. Because once you allow camera tricks, where you do draw the line? They do amazing things in the Harry Potter movies. And of course the special effects people working on these movies do a great job and it's hard work. But it's not traditional magic. Of course Hollywood doesn't try to pass off their tricks as stage magic. So I have nothing against them. But I dislike magicians who use Hollywood magic but pass it off as traditional stage magic.
@@irehman7 Don't get me wrong. I don't mind restrictions on the camera when recording a stage act to prevent people who watch the recording from figuring out the trick. That's fine. It's still 100% a stage act. But pretending to do a trick live on a parking lot when in fact you're interrupting the act for off-camera manipulation and hiding it with a camera cut, that's not okay. Magic is a stage art. If you can't perform it live on a stage in front of a live audience, it's not magic.
It doesn't matter if even 30 people saw her. Because at the end of the day, this show is filmed for viewers worldwide and edited to not show such mistakes, secondly the reaction of the remaining 90% of the people would only be shown. The people who don't react won't be shown. Its always been like this with TV shows
@@isidfynch2398yeah, no worry that the devil gets into the minds of the unfaithful causing violent thoughts and ungodly behaviors. Worry more that he's going to appear and say, "Is this your card?" 😂😂😂

@ enochyebah, using Witchcraft, the Occult, basically Satans power, it’s rife over there, the practice of drugs, magic, spirits, it comes from the same source, Satan
Make of it what you will, but I recall watching a TV interview with David Copperfield in which he acknowledged that he owned the world's largest private library of books on the subject of witchcraft.
They go hand in hand, because a ton of magicians also do satanic majick rituals and worship the devil but that's still a different thing. They're still just illusionists at the end of the day. And anything on tv or internet involving someone floating or flying is always edited.

I haven't handled any Bologna glass either, but I imagine it is constructed in a similar way to a PRD, but since it's not a droplet shape it probably isn't nearly as resistant to compression as a PRD is.@@de1018
@@de1018prolly dropped ice into it not a stone like the creator said, would make more sense to me.
@justinsixx90 he would have a hard time keeping the ice from melting. However, I don't believe it was a "stone." Whatever it was that he dropped had to be too small for the camera to pick up or was something translucent. Perhaps a small BB, or small glass marble
@@de1018 wtf is a prince rupert drop? hahaha first time hearing that term (you dont have to answer, im going to google it now)
Man, I think your explanations are honestly way more intriguing than the original performances
Who else in here sometimes can't get the trick even in slowmotion😂🎉 🤦🏾♂️
I haven't work them out yet. Maybe we should figure this out together
Excellent video! I can't tell you how much it cracks me up when I watch some of these videos claiming demons are possessing or controlling people and items to make these tricks possible. I appreciate the time and effort you put into making this.
Glad you enjoyed it
Dont be a fool demons and spirits are very real 💯 but so are illusions
Biblically demon possession is very real! This is coming frm an EX VOODOO child😊

I never knew how much work, thinking and planning magicians go thru. Their work ethic and dedication is unmatched. They should be thanking you!

Definitely smarter than you 🤡
@@Mr11ESSE111 we all know that it’s not real, but to figure out how they developed the trick and the slight of hand is simply amazing it’s self.
@@rickybrown7687 well said 👏
Thank you for making this excellent presentation. This is more than just revealing magic tricks, really you are teaching critical thinking. The whole world is a stage.
You're very welcome!
The Shin Lim card trick has an obvious live key applied. His shirt was most likely green, keyed out, and color filled to black. I've been doing video production professionally for 14 years and I can spot a key a mile away.
ok
No, he had an assistant either below or behind out of view of the camera..difference between Shim and someone like Criss Angel, he doesn't pass on as being a magician but rather a master of sleight of hand
with all due respect, you got this one wrong. if you put a scope on it you see the blacks are really crushed on his video, so its easy to get a hand with a "show black" glove to slide up and place the card onto the card in his hand. matter of fact, if you can, record that part in davinci, go to color grading and boost/raise the blacks and tell me what you see...
Good theory’s
Good
Great analysis...
I may have caused confusion, what I meant was the tension in the wire calculated from the following equations::
Σ Fy=0 : Tcosθ
Σ Fx=0 : Tsinθ
Will be divided amongst the 2 wires.
Its one wire
@outkast187 its better you watch my video where I clearly showed both wires instead of making up illogical theories.
There is a reason all the marketing posters always have the whispering demon. It is not just slight of hand and hidden cables
@@isidfynch2398lol😂 this is why the atheists make fun of believers. I almost can't blame them. You would fall for anything.
A big thanks for your explanations
My pleasure!
Ta-da!
awesome analysis'
Thanks!!
U got to hand it to these magician's. . . They sure can come up with some innovative stuff.
They deserve to be successful.
Can u explain tecnnically how magician shuffles their card or bounce around card left and right hands?
I hate tricks that require camera cuts. If it can't be performed on stage it's not real magic. Because once you allow camera tricks, where you do draw the line? They do amazing things in the Harry Potter movies. And of course the special effects people working on these movies do a great job and it's hard work. But it's not traditional magic. Of course Hollywood doesn't try to pass off their tricks as stage magic. So I have nothing against them. But I dislike magicians who use Hollywood magic but pass it off as traditional stage magic.
It's to make the illusion more impossible to figure out. For people like us interested in the how it works will always find it frustrating.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ great content! Boosting this so others see your great work
Glad you enjoy it!
Thanks alot for sharing!
Your fear of demons is clouding your reasoning
@@irehman7How did she appear behind the judges..wouldn't at least ONE audience member notice her walking around the studio?....
Worry more that he's going to appear and say, "Is this your card?"
😂😂😂
the greatest magician is the camera man
Thanks for exposing chief
Any time
I’m amazed Penn and Teller got fooled by that.
Shin Lim gets a free pass 😆
At first i was thinking he had a pen attach to his body and was writing down the answers.
There was an occasion when it was shown that P+T were in the act - these shows are known to cheat.
How does shim lim's "partner" knows exactly what to write thenr@@irehman7
This analysis is based on video editing and camera illusion, what about live magic. I need analysis on the magic performed in Africa during festivals. Those ones are not pre recorded. they are live. Ghana, Nigeria and Benin. I want to know how they do theirs. Humble Request
And anything on tv or internet involving someone floating or flying is always edited.
and so? How does that change anything even if it is true?
imagine his horror if those contact lenses fell off or slides off unintentionally 😂
Just goes to show you how stupid we are from green screens to props

What's sad is it is 2023, and there are actually people who don't get that magicians use ILLUSION... there is no such thing as supernatural powers. Thank you for this awesome breakdown of these.
Lack of knowledge and avoiding research is the main reason.
@irehman7 the " Magial thinking" logical fallacy. If you don't readily see or understand the logic of how it could have been done, you assign the supernatural
Yep
You mean the demon is fake?😢😱
