Lol... you're braver than me, I never ask for opinions on my art; in fact, I don't even like talking to the buyers. I find it too uncomfortable. And that's what agents are for. Every time I add to a piece, with each new layer I cringe, but it always (almost) turns out. Love your designs, and am starting a new series that incorporates some acrylics. Will be ordering yours.
I’ll bet your art is absolutely gorgeous. I really don’t consider myself an artist LOL I just try to help people be able to do cool designs and work with the epoxy product as Easily as possible. ❤️❤️
One of your best pours to date. Just Resin has some of the best powders and pastes bar none. Not doggin’ Mike. I have his stuff as well, but JR is on it. Like your new trailer music at the end.
I, too, would like to see it in the house. These are my favorite colors and my tile has accent blocks with turquoise and browns in them. My theme is Southwest and I'd love to see this top in place.
The customer actually ended up adding more square footage to her custom countertop so we ended up leaving this in my shop. I’m actually going to be doing this in my own personal home so I will be making a video of that. It is still one of my very favorite color combos!!!
I don’t have a video of that exact finish. That was created by students in one of our classes. But it’s the hammered metal technique. I have several videos on that. 😊 th-cam.com/video/YOc3ubz4SB8/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/EO_1jfFiU8g/w-d-xo.html
Oh my Rhonda! You and Kenny killed it! I absolutely love it! Btw...I’ll be seeing you soon.😉 signed up for your May Pro Class today. Can’t wait to meet you and Kenny!
Perfecto! This is gorgeous, rich and elegant looking! As I have been watching your videos, more and more its coming to me this is what Id love to do for a living 😍 You are so inspiring with your designs and techniques 😉🙌

Looks good. U guys ever did epoxy over sand? I want to create a sand floor with some red/green rubbies in the corners, for my jaccuzi cave. I want it to look like a "jungle cave"
Yes. You can mix the epoxy with sand a create a paste to be trowel on. Just make sure the area is prepped correctly and no moisture is present when you pour.
Would live to see what this looks like with the satin finish. It's beautiful as is, and is about what I'm looking for for my kitchen.....but I'd like to see the final result
@@RK3Designs i know. :) Was just dying to see what it looked like satin. I'm on the fence as to if i want satin or shiny in my ktchen. As is this is gorgeous I'm just curious how much the UTC dulls the metallic and glitter
I was pleasantly surprised the first time I used UTC. I thought it would dull down and hide all the mica and glitter. It absolutely did not!!! To me it actually seems to make it look much more realistic 😊. Plus the durability is such a benefit! ❤️
@@RK3Designs i just may have to try it , at least on my island first. Question, let's say i decide I'm not a fan...will a clear regular topcoat over the UTC take it back to the look of without the UTC?
What type of board did you originally start out with particle board cabinet top, 3/8ths" foam board with fiberglass mesh? I have countertops that were built in the mid 70's and are covered with what I believe is either a laminate or a formica. Above the 4" backsplash there is also 3 rows of 4"x4" tile mounted on the wall above them, so the countertops & backsplash would need to be done in place and then the tile done as an accent for the counters.
We use 3/4 in MDF when fabricating countertops. You can definitely go over existing material such as laminate, natural stone, etc., just will need to use a “bonding” primer first. We use 1/2 in MDF for backsplashes.
do you torch the resin after you have sprayed alchol on the countertop ? I mean not immediatly after, let's say after 5 minutes when it has stopped moving?
Hi, You Never Answer My Questions Can You Tell Me Please What Kind Of Black Paint Did You Use In The Wood When You Started The Video Please ??? Thank You For The Video.
I apologize, I have so many comments to read that I overlooked your question. I prepped the MDF wood with Behr Latex wall paint, color Broadway in satin sheen.

The isopropyl alcohol 91% is that what you get in a bottle that you buy? Where Is this a sold ?
Yes you can buy it over the counter at most grocery stores and drug stores.
I would love for you to do a tiled table top with epoxy.

You can sand it down and pour another clear flood coat, but unfortunately it won't be as glossy as it was prior to the UTC.
Fantastic! Love it!
Thank you!!! This was a super fun finish!
Beautiful color choices❤️
Thank you!!
Love the dirty pour Looks awesome!
Thank you!!
Exactly what I want to do!
Do you do floors? Help with old hardwood? Cabinets? Love watching and learning.
We don’t do floors at this time. We are so incredibly busy, that would be a whole business on its own. 😊
So beautiful.

do you torch the resin after you have sprayed alchol on the countertop ? I mean not immediatly after, let's say after 5 minutes when it has stopped moving?
Only if I notice there are bubbles. Usually spritzing alcohol will release most of the bubbles. 😊
It's beautiful 😍
Thank you!! 😊😊😊
What would you do to make it a lighter mix. Would you begin with a lighter base? ..
I would use a lighter mica and a lighter brown dye.
beautiful! yes, to the "dirty" accent!
What’s the color of the turquoise mica your using? Please mam….
Blue Green Mica from Stonecoat. 😊
What copper did you use?

Too diagonal in design. I think you should have tilted it and let the pattern run a bit, but unique color choices.
