I love them both Rhonda! Thanks for teaching this new finish! The copper in alcohol isn’t always my fave, but in THIS? It’s perfect! Love the hint of green patina!
This is a tough decision. Both sides are stunning!! I think I like side A a little more than B. I would also like to see a design like this with a white base with a mixture of silver metallics!
I am toying with the idea of making my kitchen over in a "steampunk" type design and I want the hammered copper look for the countertops...this is giving me ideas.....
Both sides are just beautiful! I agree the Gloss UTC would work best. I can envision doing a bath or wet bar in the style of side A and a patio table with side B. Those colors are rockin and that forest green is gorgeous!
This is so BEAUTIFUL. I had to stop using epoxy because it gave me horrible breathing problems. It was the most painful thing I've ever gone through. Definitely wear an industrial strength mask. A cloth mask won't work. I really miss epoxy art, though. I made everything except a table like this, lol.. I did Keychains, dressers, floors , ashtrays , picture frames, and so much more. There's so much you can do with epoxy. It's worth it; just be safe and wear a hefty mask to protect your lungs.
There are definitely epoxies out there that are dangerous. I use Stonecoat Countertop epoxy. It has zero VOC’s and made of 100% solids (no solvents) and very safe. I also work in a large well ventilated space. I hate that you had issues with epoxy. May check out SCC, could maybe work for ya!! Thanks for watching 😊
I absolutely adore this finish. How about doing this on a door with a flat finish. I've never seen you do doors but I think it would look fantastic. You also did a tabletop in a similar way and I loved that as well.
I was making my dinner as I was watching this video. When your beeper began to beep I thought how could my dinner be ready to quick? I just put it on! Very nice looking effect, thank you.
Im Really Learning here with you and I've been watching over and over. ...I want to Figure out a way to Apply Epoxy resin on a furniture Top that Has this cool type depth with metallics and Colors as well as a decoupage design over a finish such as this and Decoupage picture incorporated over the pigments etc. That would REALLY Take Me above anyone else to another Level and probably Get other furniture artists Very Interested ☺️❣️
@@RK3Designs that would be AWESOME..as I'd Love to Be one of the first furniture artists to Wake up a beautiful finish on furniture....can you imagine a makeup antique vanity top ....that'd be sooo beautiful and durable 🥰❣️
Awesome! I am doing a conference table for my office with an old dining table that was water damaged in Hurricane Michael. I have been struggling to decide on a finish and recipe. This is it!!! Thanks so much!
Was anyone surprised when Rhonda said she was gonna do half with the brush and half with her hand? It wouldn't be an RK3 video if she didn't use her hand
I like them both but I do like the brush side better because sometimes I like bold statement . I do like both colors of alcohol and adding the rain forest color is spot on. I would as use the gloss UTC to let the bling shine.
I like them both very much - as an artist I prefer the one with the alcohol and mica as just a bit more organic ? You are so clever - wish I lived in the states again as I would definitely take one of your classes! Keep up the beautiful work 🌻
Definitely A. I've been looking for a finish that resembles edged geometric shapes (fractures) vs the rounded shapes the alcohol leaves. My wife wants a primarily black countertop with some brown in a fractured look, with thin distinct gray veins. Very nice colors that I wish I could talk her into. If it was me I'd be all over this like a monkey on a cupcake. TY!
I think I like them both, for different reasons and applications, both would make awesome bar tops though.. with a black stained base on the bar, and copper and black leather barstools...
I love both designs. with the brush it looks more formal or in a man cave bar. The one with your hand and alcohol spray I think would look nice in a country type kitchen .🍕💯
Thank you. If you make a stand. Make it so that the drill sits a little higher and angles the paddle down. That way the epoxy will drop in the cup better. That’s what I will do next time. 😊
This is my absolute favorite combo that u have done! I def love the brushed side best (A) I know STone coat has lots of UV protection, wud this combo in the long run be good for concealing any yellowing ?
You could paint it black then go over it with Rustoleum hammered copper leaving some of the black to show through. Then lightly foil with sumo colors. That may blend well enough.
I love both. Can envision them in different settings. Great work❤️❤️❤️. As always, thank you for sharing. Just. One question, how do you clean your brushes?
that's beautiful. what is the material you put the epoxy on? could I do this design on a piece of wood I have or should I treat the wood with something? I want it to be dark so can I stain the wood first? thank you!
I love it all. Can you do this on a small surface? I have 2 tray tables that are modern, no frills, but the wood got ruined and this might look really pretty. The base is a antique gold. Would that work? Thanks
I’ve actually not found that to be the case with the gloss when I apply it. The colors and details are still very vibrant. It does, in my opinion, give a little more realistic look and not such an”plastic” look. Our customers love it so far. 😊😊. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the feedback!
rk3designs.com || Do you like the side I worked with my hand, or the one with the brush?
i love all of it
Brush side
I like the brush finish. To me it almost looks a bit like fire. It's also more dramatic. That black really pops.
I love them both Rhonda! Thanks for teaching this new finish! The copper in alcohol isn’t always my fave, but in THIS? It’s perfect! Love the hint of green patina!

That’s a great look! A vessel sink would look awesome…
The hint of green gives the look of aged copper
Thanks Brett!! 😊😊
Thank you Rhonda. I liked the side you rubbed with your hand and I would have stopped. High gloss for sure.
Awesome. Thanks!!! 😊😊
I absolutely adore this finish. How about doing this on a door with a flat finish. I've never seen you do doors but I think it would look fantastic. You also did a tabletop in a similar way and I loved that as well.
It just gets better and better, every stage is good to go and then you go further.
Thank you!! 😊😊
Both sides are stunning but I'm leaning towards A. I'm so glad I discovered RK3 just recently, you are quite the inspiration. Thank you 😘

🤣🤣🤣. Very true!! Thanks for watching! ❤️
Every time I watch this video I love this finish more and more every time !!!🇺🇸❤️❤️❤️
Both sides are gorgeous!!! I can’t even chose between them!! Beautiful job🤗🥰
I like both sides for different reasons.. I love rhe effect of the alcohol but the other side has more green in it and I like that too.
Thank you!! The green is gorgeous!!
Rhonda I like them both. You are a true professional! Keep up the excellent work and videos.
Thank you so much!!! ❤️
Gorgeous! Both sides have unique qualities but, I think, I'd have to go with Side A. Both are really cool looks!!
Thank you!!! I really appreciate you watching and your feedback. 😊😊
A but i love B as well. Could see using both. Beautiful!!

Thanks!!! The gloss will be perfect for sure!!!
I love the finish before you added the alcohol/mica powder. But honestly, both look amazing!
"I didn't really leave enough but I have plenty"

🤣🤣
Side A for closet doors, coffee table and on metal entry way doors.
Perfect!!! I agree! Thanks for watching!!!
I like the one without the alcohol I would love to see something like that done with Blues
Blue would be gorgeous!
Both side are so beautiful!
Thank you!!
This is lovely both sides are gorgeous

I always wonder what you do with those beautiful creations after you show us how to do it.
I usually give them away or pour over them. 😊😊

Beautiful color combinations!!! Im kinda liking the brush blending this time. Looove this finish.
Thank you!!! I really appreciate you watching
Love the geometric side certainly !
Thank you!!!
watching, i want to flick the last alcohol/mica steps with a brush FLICK IT OVER TOP like hammered metal finish
Definitely A. I've been looking for a finish that resembles edged geometric shapes (fractures) vs the rounded shapes the alcohol leaves. My wife wants a primarily black countertop with some brown in a fractured look, with thin distinct gray veins.

Both gorgeous, but I really like the "brushed" side best!
Awesome!!! I appreciate it!! 😊
Gloss definitely
Both are beautiful but brush shows more definition. 💚💚
I agree!! Thanks! 😊😊
I liked B before the cross hatching. It made me think of petrified wood. ❤
Yes!! It does resemble petrified wood!! Thanks for watching!! 😊
@@RK3Designs You're very welcome!! ❤

100% agree 😊😊
I d like that on sliding living room or entry way closet doors and coffee tables
Love both, but A is the best. My opinion
Awesome. Thanks for watching!!! 😊😊
I like the side A
I love the brush. Oh, I love them both!
Lol. Thanks!! ❤️
I really love the driller stand. I will have to make one. Thanks for all you amazing vids. Like always You ROCK it.

That is what I'm going for on my countertops 🤞
I’m really digging them both!!
Awesome!!! Thanks!!
definitely the brush
This is my absolute favorite combo that u have done! I def love the brushed side best (A)

This would be an excellent choice if you’re concerned with Ambering. You’ll never notice any color change.
Both are very beautiful
Thanks!!!
I looooove the B side
I already want that on my counters! Beautiful!
Go for it!!! ❤️❤️
Both are amazing! It depends on where it would be used. Will definitely try this!
Thank you!!! I agree. 😊😊
Any way to do this on a countertop with the little back splash lip? Maybe doing that part with a similar patterned foil??
You could paint it black then go over it with Rustoleum hammered copper leaving some of the black to show through. Then lightly foil with sumo colors. That may blend well enough.
Love the hand
Love it 🤩 beautiful
Both are beautiful ❤️
Thank you!! ❤️
I like the brush

Thank you! Yes it is. 😊
Gorgeous

U don't use face mask or respirator while working with resin. Which resin u are using
Скажите пожалуйста, для чего добавляли полимерную дисперсию??? Чем можно заменить??? Спасибо заранее.
Again, both stunning, but I'll go with "A"
Perfect!! Thanks 😊😊
What color is the turquoise behind your head on the board? Please mam
It’s a mixture of Real Teal and Tropical turquoise.
Bravo Bravo 🤟🏻🌹
Very pretty I like A best.
would this work on a wall
I wouldn’t recommend on a vertical surface. You would have to add thickener and the pattern really wouldn’t stay.
I like both and I'm not a fan of Fracking.
A side , looks more natural and just leave it alone , less sometimes is better.
hands, FIRST. Them, try the brush so could see thee difference!
B all the way
You don't use mask. Which epoxy u r using. I am developing allergy with resin. I love this art but my imagination has got a halt
I use Stonecoat countertop epoxy. Zero VOC’s, 100% solids with no solvents. Very safe. I also work in a large well ventilated work space. 😊
@@RK3Designs is this better yo use for small items such as coasters wall clock tray etc or the use is limited
@@IlaVarma72 unlimited!! I do it on everything 😊

I did. Stonecoat Countertop Epoxy. 😊😊

The UTC gloss will still dumb down the detail alot ! Will not look as glossy at all as just clear epoxy !
If doing on vertical surface no need for UTC.
Correct, unless there will be high traffic.
