Are you on a MKIII or SC3? All I did on my car was bypass the heater core which on a MKIV also bypasses the “water valve/heater control valve” since it’s mounted inside the HVAC on top of the heater core itself. On a MKIII or SC300, the valve is mounted in the engine bay and regulated coolant into the heater core inside the cabin. For my setup, I took the nipple at the back of the head and ran it right to an NA hard pipe which mounts to the back of the thermostat housing on the exhaust side. I wish I could post a photo. It would probably make a lot more sense showing you a diagram. Hopefully that helped a little bit.
@@2JZAddict I've been thinking about removing the heater core, but im worried about those rainy warm days, Is on a sc300. I believe just a/c i will not have foggy windows.
That decision will really depend on you and how you use the car honestly. If you’re daily driving the car, it might be worth keeping. Especially If you drive it in the rain and you live in a humid environment, the windshield could fog from the inside if all you have is AC. Here in CO, I rarely use the AC, it seldom rains, and the turbo Supra doesn’t get out much anyway. Lol When it does, it’s always sunny with windows down so bypassing the core doesn’t make a difference in my situation.
@@2JZAddict lol, i live in texas. I was looking to buy a new heatercore but it seems it was discontinued, i even search the supra one and no luck. Lol i guess it might end up deleted cause I only drive it sunny sundays xD
Hi brother, hope you doing all good. Im confuse with the heater control valve. Have you bypass that valve?
