This is honestly Corey's best playing of any album. The tone they are getting is amazing, reminds me of the Vengeanse Falls lead tones. Liquid bliss!

Lexonn i didn't like the intro riff the first time I heard the song but that's because I couldn't hear what was happening under the mix, I like it now though. The lead work is still by far the best in terms if tone and adding to the song

Loki John i really liked the tones on that album too but personally, the leads on this album and vengeance falls are so tight and the leads are so smooth and crisp. The playing is on point as well both in terms of technicality and melody

The last great album trivium had was In Waves imo. That doesn’t mean that the last couple albums were terrible or anything, they were just ok records. Not great, but not bad, just average.

@uber lucario Theis dude fucking bangs the drums, saw Trivium in 2010 and they did a solo section while MAtt and others went back stage he drummed for about 5 minutes, went again this year in Spokane..... Drums almost out shined the live solos.... he is amazing this dude... way better than the old one I saw

Trivium never released a bad album in my opinon.
I am honestly not a fan of Vengeance Falls or Silence in the Snow. I didn't have high expectations for this album at all but it ended up being one of their best ever.

@@Celestial_Being666 Right, I'd say VF has at least 4-5 songs that are good, the rest meh. That makes for a good album overall. SITS, maybe 3-4 good songs, the rest are very skip worthy. To me SITS is just a hair worse than even The Crusade. At least Crusade had a couple true bangers, like To the Rats, Anthem and the title track was fun to listen too.

This is awesome. Been a fan through thick and thin. Grew up with trivium and almost feel like I’ve grown with the band through the changes in their musical style over the years. Started listening to ember when it came out and I was 17 so it’s been an oddly perfect fit.

Pretty much speechless. Didn't know it was possible for Trivium to up the game this much. I've loved every album but this seems special. Every single has been insane. Trivium is such a great band with depth. Their lyrics n music layouts, building upon each other are so complex and deep, not just simply screaming n headbanging but also deliver as a whole.
