My mom, God rest her soul, had one of these Casio Synthesizers...I'd like to get another one sometime...the Bell function is the best since I want to make a sing using the bell feature.
You played very nice in this video. Thank You for demoing all the sounds and styles. I remember this keyboard from my childhood from a friend. Everything sounds like it is put through a chorus. I like the squirrelly crash cymbals from the drum kit.
youve really got the collection of keyboards, very cool indeed ! everytime i look up vintage synths 80% of the time you seem to have a video demo, funny.
I love Casio Toneback keyboards i have 8 in the series CT-460, 640, 650, 625, 638 & MT-240, 540, & 640 in the Mini series the newest of the CT line that i have is CT-670 I just got a Mint condition PSR-500 still new in the box & another PSR-48 Mint My 2011 new keyboard i just got is the Casio WK-7500 its sunds great for a Casio Now im up to 75 keyboards and 50 Acustic Pianos
@ KeyboardKrazy49 I just received a Casio MT-140 in the mail today. It is basically a smaller version of the CT-370, but it lacks the trio mode and separate rhythm and accompaniment volume controls.
@sillyboy2009 Just looked on the internet and some of the differences is that the CT-360 had 12 sounds and 12 rhythms whilst the CT-370 had 20 of each. The CT-360 had only 8 notes polyphony, the CT-370 had 10 notes and I don't think that the CT-360 had dual voices so you can play 2 sounds at one time, I'm not sure if its true but when I saw pictures of the CT-360, I couldnt see a dual voice button on it. Hope this helps :)
Guitar pedals wont work on this as this only has the power outlet and the headphones jack which also works as a line out for amplifiers. Hope this helps
@8bitsurrender Sorry for the late reply, this keyboard only has headphones output but you can still connect an amp to the keyboard, but that will only cut off the keyboards speakers as the amp will be connected to the headphones. Hope this helps :)
Awesome videos! I'm trying to decide between the Casio CT-370 and the MT-205. The main difference I see between the two is the ability to record. Are there other huge features or differences I am missing? I am not a musician, this is for a gift. The person who will be using it will want to record the sounds onto a computer and layer them over other guitar and drum tracks. I want to be sure this can at least do that. Thank you again, im super impressed with you knowledge base and thoroughness.

I have this exact same key board and the F closest to middle C on the left keeps doing up beats. For example I’ll press it down and it makes noise but then once I release it, it’s not silent and it makes noise again. How would I fix this?
Hi Michael I have a lot of keyboards all cheap off ebay most of them just 99p but i'm gonna restore all of them some of theme was was cound abandoned in skips all will have a seperate video hear on youtube when I get time to do them my first be my Casio C-1000 what was found in a skip tbanks for sharing your collection:)
Actually it would work, by using an adapter that would split the signal. My Oberheim Matrix 1000 only has 1 out (no headphone out), and so I use an adapter that splits the signal; one cable goes to my mixer for monitoring, the other cable goes into my interface for recording.
Hey, I just got the Casio CT-360 from a thrift store...Is there any way that I can connect my guitar pedals to it? I see that it only has a line-out jack, but I can't figure out how to do this. Could you please help? I can't find any useful information online.
@musicmaniac1965 Are you sure? Whenever I go to the shop and play new portable keyboards I ask 2 things: 1. Where is the progress? Still even on newest piano sounds quite thing etc. 2. Where's the fun gone? They pretend to be able for everything but those stuff here, PSS, PSR, Casio, you could just toy around, tweak sounds, sample, it was fun to explore. Once there is a big LCD involved - forget it, it's boring. Am i the only one who thinks so?
@@jacksong6226 It's such a shame people throw stuff like this away but it was still a very lucky find and still a perfectly usable keyboard. I would probably buy a CT-370 if I saw one selling in a second hand shop for next to nothing.

Oh does it bring back a lot of memories. but it was a good keyboard for its time.

I think my favourite one is a synth I bought over a week ago and thats the Yamaha DX7 II-D :)
Thanks for your interest!

Ah, the Casiotones. My cousin had a CT-360. The flute is very mellotron-like

Ahh this is posted locally .. I was thinking about it but it doesn't fancy ... Was hoping it had secret synth features 🤣
Just found this at a thrift store and I’m pissing my pants with excitement.
Hi Michael, that's very much like a Casio CT460 I had in the early 1990s, not bad sounds for a small keyboard. Cheers

high mike , i have the casio ct460 same as yours but you have 8 sound efects pads. thanks for sharing kind regards, dan
Oh, I didnt know that, I didnt think it would work because I had never used guitar pedals on a keyboard before so thanks for letting me know :)
I have the MT 140; which is basically a small-keyed variant of this keyboard.

That same beat/accompaniment is on the Casio HT-6000 too.
@metallerium This keyboard doesn't have MIDI.
Hope this helps :)
what the difference between this and the 360?

No you cannot connect any input only a headphone output
