I drove a 1957 bel air back in high school in the 80's. Loved that car and still think it is one of the most beautiful automobiles ever made.
My dad owned one of these exactly like this back in the 80s. It was original and show condition. My brother and I were little kids riding our bikes next to it in the garage and kept running our handle bar grips down the side of it. I don't know how my brother and I survived.
because back then a car like this was worthless.
My mom had one in high school but she said it was an old police car and had the 454 in it. She said it was definitely too fast and she loved it.
Yeahhhh… if that were my dad I would’ve been slapped upside the head until I would get it!
beautiful story for a beautiful car
When I was born in 61,Dad had one of these. A few years later he traded it for a 63 Bonneville which I eventually took my driving test in.
WOW! That paint looks like glass! I’d love to just drive it!
My first car was a Red 1957 Belair, wish I had it now.
My favorite dream car❤❤❤❤❤❤
That black Hemi Challenger behind it has an interesting history too.
My step dad has one just outside rn and it runs amazingly
THANK YOU SO MUCH. I LOVE MY HOT ROD FAMILY!!!! YOU GUYS ROCK THE HOUSE!!! WHAT AN INSPIRING STORY!!! THANKS FOR SHARING!!!! YOU MADE MY DAY!!!

THIS 57 CHEVY BEL AIR LOOKS MEAN IN TUXEDO BLACK
My Dream Car...
😮💨 I'm never gonna be able to afford one in my lifetime now... I guess I'll just have to keep dreaming...
If that's your dream car, but you'll never be able to afford that price tag, i'd find one unrestored. (very hard to do, i know, rare car) and restore it yourself. Much more light on the wallet. If it just seems impossible to even find one unrestored i'd just find a '57 283 2dr hardtop, plenty of those still around, and put dual quads on it. Its the next best thing.
My neighbor has an all original 4 door 57 chevy
Without question it’s worth a lot more than that
Awesome car. That GM car plant closed.. and then GM opened one in Mexico. Gotta love that "Free trade" deal.
Sad.
We can thank mr. Clinton and his ilk for the passage of NAFTA and the loss of nearly 3.5 million jobs after the closing of that GM plant.
Dude says it's only money.. 250k? People really be like that..
The '57..the car that almost wasn't.
Now take that car and add a blown engine on a gasser frame and you have my 57.
After seeing this I may have lost a few bucks on mine, but I bet I have more fun.
This one would look good next to mine.
It is better GM reproduce this car and re activate production line. I guess it will be great and may put back GM as No 1 in auto industry 😂 idiots.
Its only money........try to help the starving and homeless.....they dont want a 57 Chev
Nothing like more money for Fentanyl gimme gimme
