It wasn't on this list, but Frieren just announced a few days ago that it's sold 7 million copies since the anime premiered, for a total of 17 million overall. 7 million copies in 3 months is crazy.
That is false, 17 million is the grand total in circulation. It never sold 7 million in 3 months, not even close.
@@IchigoKurosakicool It was literally twitted by the X account for Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe's Frieren manga that it sold 7 million copies since the release of the anime. Yes the total copies sold were 17 million, which goes to show that the anime has already almost double the total manga sales. Frieren is probably already the top 1 manga sold this year considering it ranked 11th before they broke out the news, so that means the sales prior to the anime were about 3 mill, if you add the 7 mill it will probably overtake blue lock by the end of the year.
Yea and it just barely missed top 10 being at top 11 so really not bad at all.

Apparently one of the reasons for no official english translation is that its one of the most pirated media ever. Even then though, I do think it would sell really well as long as they do omnibus releases

I'm excited for Bunny Girl Senpai and I'm hoping the university arc is a TV series. Honestly that should've also what Oregairu done instead of whatever direction it took after the main series.

It's very obvious by now that Ruby will only nail the scene of Ai-Hikaru scene that she was struggling on, when she realizes that her own feelings for Gorou/Aqua aren't "real love". It's also annoying because beforehand, the same people would complain about discussions regarding if Aqua would end up with anyone but at least people who ship Aqua with Kana or Akane don't obnoxiously force those ships upon people against their will.
Ruby is a great character. I liked her fine before but the movie arc made me love her with all the insight we've been getting on her psyche. If only 90% of discussion surrounding her didn't make her out to be a sex-obsessed incestuous imouto. 💀
Tbh, OnK's story is just all over the place for me. The character drama is really not that compelling and written all that well.

i was thinking about this too. like i enjoyed blue lock a lot before that arc but when i finally hit that arc it's like a switch was flipped in my brain. i read that arc in a complete binge frenzy, it was so hype. i think once it gets animated in the anime it'll only get the series even more popular. not sure it will make a repeat at #1 manga sales but imo it'll definitely widen the fandom presence even more.

Am i the only one who thinks oshi no ko got better as the series progressed? Sure EP 1 was good but i wasn't really invested until i finished the whole first season. And after catching up with the manga, I'm really looking forward to see those future seasons getting animated. Specially the current arc of the manga is really good and it have way more potential than any other arcs of the series so far.

Honestly mha kinda redeemd itself for me. It fell of at the second part of season 3 for me(except the overhaul part of s4 that was good) and then s5 was just garbage. S6 was pretty good but ever since the final war it has gotten really good. I mean ochako vs toga is really good, all the stuff with spinner and the only complaint i really have is that the whole todoroki family drama dragged on a bit too long for me though it was really good.

Their latest arc was the best to utilize all potensial of character kinda remind me about naruto before shippuden where all of naruto friend is usefull and having unique traits to follow. Also happy ao ashi still sell well in japan. Thanks god people still appreciate one of the good realistic football manga than just weird power up or delusional football.

Kingdom's art is great, although the character designs are not as appealing as other big mangas. However, the story, the sheer mental gymnastics and hype it has is one of the best things manga has ever created. You will not regret it :)

It was views on the official app/website ,manga sales are very low with less volumes too[just over 80 chapters].
I find Blue Lock's position extremely encouraging.
That tells me there's a ton of young guys who are interested in becoming someone, rather than the pushed down kids we've seen for a long while now, not just in Japan but in the entire Western world. There are so many boys who are outright suffering miserable lives with no encouragement or reward.

The anime has great color design, decent background design and a great OST with some bopping OP/ED's but its barely animated, alot of panning shots and screen shake, its a better read then watch imo.

With the Naruto movie and discussion about live action anime adaptations.
One Piece is an anomoly AND I'm not 100% convinced yet because we haven't gotten to the more crazy character designs and devil fruit powers yet. And even though what we got was acceptable, lets not forget things like Arlong looking kinda...meh. Arlong and his crew prolly have the craziest character designs we see until the Grand Line, and that was a definite low point in terms of production for the series. Also, everyone is dressed in relatively normal clothes and yet they STILL managed to kinda like a bit cosplay-ish, even Nami who's just in a shirt and skirt. So even though they've technically succeeded, I'm still questioning the future of live action One Piece and have zero...no, NEGATIVE faith in live action Naruto.
The jutsu's will prolly look like shit, because of nobody dressing "normally" everyones gonna look cringey because these costumes do NOT adapt into live action and will at BEST look like high quality cosplay, and either all the Naruto gen actors will be way too old or we'll be dealing with child actors which will probably not be very good, at least as a whole even if there are 1-2 standouts.
Again, OP was an anomly that I'm still convinced is gonna fall on its face sometime in the future...shounen battle anime are HORRIBLE choices for live action adaptations. These MFers can't even get actually adaptable series right. I don't trust them on something this difficult at ALL. Like, Death Note should have been a slam dunk. Ghost in the Shell should have been a slam dunk. Cowboy Bebop should have been a slam dunk. And these studio execs, writers, and directors couldn't even do that. OP was merely ACCEPTABLE and that was with a director who was a MASSIVE OP fan, a cast that at least partially also seems to be fans, and having Oda oversee the entire production. And it was also, from my understanding, the most expensive, or one of the most expensive, seasons of a TV show EVER produced and some effects, makeup, and set designs were STILL sus.
This Naruto movie is such a fucking terrible idea. Please stop making live action adaptations to super crazy unrealistic ungrounded super powered shounen battle anime.
You know what I would have preferred instead of LA One Piece? A sort of "One Piece Kai" version of One Piece with all the filler and padding gone, just kinda speed running arcs with more modern/high quality animation. Toei did a few of those in the past (I believe Arlong Park, Alabasta, and Drum Island?) but I'd want newer, maybe even a bit more quickly paced, HQ version of all of east Blue, then the same going forward. Like, imagine the entirety of OP with the animation quality they started using during Wano and a manga level pace (but quicker technically since we'd be adapting multiple chapters per episode). It'd take foreeeever to do, but it'd allow Toei/shueisha to continue to milk OP for years to come, something they both love doing to franchises, long after Oda finally finishes the manga which will allegedly happen within a couple more years (though prolly longer than Oda originally said, I just don't see it happening considering I think its already been like 2 years since he said 5 and I just don't see the end in sight just yet considering Wano by itself took 4 years)

Also I feel Tokyo Revengers was worthy of the hype when it came out. The story wasn't the best (especially the ending let's be honest), but man it made me speculate with my friends about every part of the story! The characters were likeable, the mystery was very good, the battles were hype and deaths were super impactful.
Kingdom is great. Tried to get my friends on it, but they just found it boring. Sucks to be them I guess.
