Great video as usual. In my shock building process, I don't put the o-rings and spacers into the shock body first. After putting the pistons on the shafts, I place them into the shock bodies and individually place the o-rings and spacers onto the shafts (with my fingers); and, follow-up with the caps. This has proven best for me by not harming the o-rings when the threaded portion of the shaft goes through them. Do like how you Noleened the o-rings going into the upper caps. I was using shock oil for them; but, will switch over to Noleen. Thanks for that. Love both Noleen SF-3 and ProTek Shock Pliers. The Noleen product is the same as Green Slime (but, not in little tubes) at a friendly price. Have used several different brands of shock pliers; and, the ProTeks are by far the best IMO.
o-rings and spacers after putting the shaft through... I'll have to give that a try on my next build! Thanks for that idea! Noleen and the ProTek shock pliers are definitely a must have.
That's what I used to do and it works, but really do try out some shock pliers! They make it so much easier and you don't need to worry about damaging shock shafts!
For a RELEVANT comment... The Shock Pliers are more than a good idea when building smooth working Shocks. These are supposed to be the best Shocks that Axial has ever made! Associated (Element) really raised the Bar on Shock design. 👌 Stay SAFE Bro! Carmine ✈🚂🚙
So these stockers are 90mm correct? How would they stack up to a set of KING 100mms? I'm thinking of just getting these to replace the King's on my OG SCX10 Honcho.
Love these build series videos. So informative and useful. Keep them coming :)
🤙I'm glad! Thanks for the comments!

When I’m building shocks I use vice grips and a folded up paper towel to keep from damaging the shock shaft

@@RevolutionX I think I can print some out actually

I think the best part of these shocks are the bleeder valves. It makes so much difference in getting air bubbles out properly!
ABSOLUTELY!! I don't know why all Shocks don't have that. When I Raced Buggies, AE Shocks had Bleeder Valves...
Great video bro, keep em coming!
🙏Thanks brother! Definitely will keep making these as I build new kits! 🤙
Great shock builds and video
👍🙏🤙 Thank you as always!
Nicely done 👍👍👊👊
Thanks 👍

First step to building axial shocks is to throw them in the bin of parts you’ll never use but won’t throw out
More often than not this is totally true. I'm willing to give these a shot though.
is that 100mm shocks???
Geebus get some background sound
🤷🏻♂️
@@RevolutionX 🤷♂️ what lol
NOOOOOOO I LOST A C CLIP 🙃
😂😂😂 Such a pain!
