Thank you very much for this video. I have done some research in the past on the low protein in Blood Worms and Brine shrimp, but that Egg Yoke has about 47% protein. Somehow this got lost to me with all the TH-cam videos saying live food is best, I simply forgot. But this video showing how to make 2 types of food out of eggs has got me on the right track again. I have 12 day old and 5 day old Betta fries and feeding microworms, both are about the same size and I was wondering why. Now I will bump up the protein and get everything back on track. GREAT VIDEO!

This is so old school.. love it.. when I started with tanks, about 35 years ago we would use egg yok, and freeze it in small bottle caps, then add one per tank. The fish loved it. Really nice video.. loved it.
When I bred them in a warm climate , I used mosquito larvae & boiled egg yolk. Egg yolk because they can’t be disturbed for a while & larvae when a bit older . They grow fast on this diet , so I tried it with goldfish & different egg laying breeds & it worked . That was 35 years ago when all the kids in my neighborhood were experimenting .
Thanks for the vid, I’m going to start betta fish breeding in a month or 2. This is my first time doing this so I need as much information as possible in order to succeed
Can the fry stay on the hard boiled egg diet until they are big enough? Or how should I feed them for the first 3 months? And where do u keep the first hard boiled egg bottle?
Boil the egg hard & take the yolk out . Only give them enough to suit the container size or else the water will get cloudy & kill the fry . I bred outside in a large container so one whole egg yolk worked fine . Outside they eat as needed so it stays clean . Lillie’s covering the water also help there is a very small shrimp that live in the Lilly that they love to hunt .

Q) After using the egg particles in water to feed fry.. Do we need to worry about the water condition or it's fine ?
