Thank you for such a good lesson on insults auf Deutsch! Do people really say "unbestimmte Arschgeige"? BTW, my all-time favorite Get Germanized video was the one where your "grandmother" reduces you to a sniveling puddle with the greatest torrent of German insults in history. Love to see her do it again!!
I mean, you can make up all kinds of insults and funny words/sentences in German. Not sure if many people will use them though, haha. Grandma is eternal. She might return one day.
Das war sehr lustig. Es macht viel Spaß. I appreciate your help in this category. I'll make sure to not say any of the mentioned phrases when I get to travel to Germany. Vielen Dank.
Hey Just found your channel some weeks ago, and you rock at it! :) Also I saw a video from 10 years ago anddd is also awesome! It was so funny and still it is! :) Thank you!
Oh my Science so hilarious. Great detail in some of those!!! The end clip about hand shoes is so true!!! Now I am imagining people with shoes on their hands!! 😂
Complexity and comedy? That is awesome. Also the one about German food was inspired by Austrians? My flatmate from Tiról is still not on board with German food. Greetings from Linz.
As a bier aficionado, I can tell you honestly that German beer is quite good. Kolsch, Rauchbier, Maerzen, Hefe, and WeissBier are among my favorites. They may not be available in your country, but you can brew and lager them with enough patience.
One thing we can agree is "British food is horrible" Colonized half of the world for spices, ironically didn't put any good taste on their food. P.S. i thought it would be better than Indian cooking, unfortunately not.
Ich bin Brasilianer und meinen Großeltern sind von Deutschland nach Brasilien in 1918 gereist. Is es möglich zu glauben jemanden solche Sachen sagen würde.
You and anyone else who has gone to Germany with some useful lessons. I'll let the videos teach me. With Gael areas I'm having to learn what just looks like modern English but is actually an old less known word, and with your large section I'm having to gain knowledge between slang phrases, and the caution of little-known facts of phrases that sound like insults to other people when putting aside regular English of America.
My favourite German word is "Kabelsalate" . Thing that should not say in Germany , i actually heard from German. Something like :" Germans have so much sausages , bicous they are lazy to use other words. Everything is sausage , from weaner to pressed ham." Thanks for this kind of videos. It's a kind of words and cultural informations man can't find anywhere else.
I mean... if one is a diehard fan of Czech, Belgium beer or even American lager, you could see them poking a joke about German beer. Aber mach sich über Deutsches Auto lustig? Who would dare 😂
Haha, well Oktoberfest is on my list of events as a tourist 😅 tut mir leid. But I am going to go with native Germans. German food is the root of most our food in Ohio, so I like it ❣️
But I've missed Herman the German. ; ) This is the start of of one "Du bist ein " ha, ha Google Translate will not translate the last word. The word would be part of a Esel's physiology, No offence intended. : D. John W.
In the world everyone learns something and put the rules around them. And saying don't do rhis and that.. If we tell this to kids who are pure and clean soul they will laugh at us..
Dude! Any Bavarian would laugh and agree that Oktoberfest is over rated and for drunks? How do you get a a featured favourite word in German? Mines Möpse! I see lots of pugs around my neighborhood of all different colors.
@@GetGermanized I forgot to reply to this a long while ago, my bad xD. I wanted to say that this was supposed to have a joking tone to it, but now that I look at it again, it seems kinda serious. So my bad. I wish you the best tho :D
i really like how you're telling us not to say these sentences then you repeat them 4 times slowly 😭😭 this is why i love this channel
Haha 😂😂
Jawohl. Ich habe alle durchaus gelernt!
Lol
I was thinking the same thing, don't say it, but here is how you say it. hahahaha
I was just about to make the very same point until I noticed your post, which thankfully was right at the top, lol
Why Germans don’t play Scrabble:
Teppichbodenschliefmachienenverlieh
My experience with Octoberfest was over rated and was filled with drunk Bavarians and tourists! It was great!
I was expecting phrases that some would say by direct word for word translation. Z.b “Ich bin Heiß” “Mir ist Heiß.”
Maybe I can make a video about those in the future 😊👍
Hermann is my favorite character. he vibes. Hope he wasn’t too upset about the sayings.
Just a bit but he'll get over it :D

I like Hermann, you should keep him around. :-)
He's a permanent employee. He's just been on a recovery journey the last couple of years. Hermann is a recovering Sauerkraut addict.
Here in the states, I would only own a Beamer or Benz that's made in Germany. The German cars made in the USA or Mexico have too much Murphy's law.
Complexity and comedy?
That is awesome.
Also the one about German food was inspired by Austrians?
My flatmate from Tiról is still not on board with German food.
Greetings from Linz.
The bit about german music was long and very specific. I love it.
Haha, my pleasure 😁
The insults are so much more creative outside the states. We peaked in the 90s.
Idk why people think Germans arent funny lol- you’re hilarious
Why, thank you 😁😊

1000th view! And one funny thing! I was learning German from my tutor in zoom. Then a Duolingo notification popped up and said me to practise German 😂
I appreciate stuff like this so that one can understand to recognize a type of insult in German.
One thing we can agree is "British food is horrible"
Colonized half of the world for spices, ironically didn't put any good taste on their food.
P.S. i thought it would be better than Indian cooking, unfortunately not.
Haha, that's too bad :) Well, many people dislike German food as well so don't feel too bad.
@@GetGermanized the bradwurst, schnitzel, and beer are good at least.

This was hysterical , I love Hermann . Thank you for making be smile after an awful day 😀
Poor Herrmann
Ich verstehe nur „WAS?!“
noted.
😁
Herrmann the German is a legend who should be protected at all costs...
Agreed 😂😁
It sounds like it must be very painful to speak with Herrmann’s voice! It’s kinda painful just to listen to it, but still kinda funny.
"Sie sind eine nicht gestimmte Arschgeige" - werden Arschgeigen normalerwise gestimmi? Wie würde man das tun?
Ich liebe München! Going to Oktoberfest is on my bucket list. I will not send in a video, but my favorite German word is Kinderkrankenschwester.
A good word indeed 😊😊👌🏼
Der Handschuh is my favourite German word too.

Am I the only auslander who actually likes traditional German music? haha for real 😊🎶
Just like you need a certain chemistry to appreciate House, so you need a LOT of Bier to enjoy that Musik!
Germany has the best cars 💯%

Ich glaube die zwei wichtigste dingen, die in Deutschland nicht verstoßen werden sollten sind deutsche alkoholische Getränke und ihre Autos
Isn’t sprachlos more just literally translated as speechless?
Literally, yes.
Glad to be your audience while you got all those Forbidden Phrases off your chest, sir.
What the hell is an “iltis”?
It's some sort of weasle 😁
Herrnann is the best
I had to look up iltis. It's a polecat.
What makes German music beautiful is the Düdelsack.
Hemm okay, thoose pretty long sentence. I won't say...
6:12 A better English word for "iltis" should be weasel.
Not a critic, just help.
No problem, that's actually a word I had to look up. I guess the dictionary was wrong ^^
My favorite German word is Luftmessstation because there are three “s” in a row.
Good choice! 😁
Oder Eisschnellläufer hat drei Buchstaben "L" in der Reihe
Leica ist meine Lieblingsmesssucherkamera.
No one could ever say that German cars are crap!
But the food though... 🙄😅 *don't kill me, pls*
Mein Lieblingswort auf Deutsch ist "Quatsch!"

So basically don't talk shit about anything that has to do with beer 🍻 or food
3:30 but thats actually true XD German food is simple, bland and flavourless. And about beer, well, Polish beer is better than German beer ;)
How dare you?! 😂😂😁❤️
@@GetGermanized Sorry but there is no chance against Peruvian Food ;)
What if he's just ranting, but covering it as a "don't say this"??😳

I'm sure you'll get to that level eventually and then you can come back to this video 😊🇩🇪👍
