Clutch just went on my 1.25 and it looks like a right arse of a job. Thanks for the video, no doubt this will shave a lot of time figuring it out on this box now. Cheers!
Have done plenty of these Sandy , have never removed throttle body though, I always remove mounting completely from gearbox , a bit of a struggle , but got bolts out , yes the plastic looks are a pain , and once had parts suppliers give me the wrong concentric, the pipe was a different size , hope you enjoyed doing it , take care
Recently had mine replaced on a Ford Fiesta 2008. Do not drive on a slipping clutch as it makes the car harder to drive. I was supposed to get it fixed in July but I couldn't be bothered. After driving many months like this it just went out all of a sudden. Also, driving with a bad clutch isn't safe because when I was a learner. The car didn't go into gear properly and I nearly hit another vehicle. Also I have had my Ford Fiesta Zetec for nearly 2 years. Got the car with a worn out clutch without knowing. When I got it for a learner car there is always that something bugs me. When I put it in reverse it takes a few attempts for it to go into reverse. Same problems occurs after having a new clutch in Smooth in every other gear apart from reverse (sometimes make a grinding noise) PS: I am not a learner anymore I have a full UK license. Finally, after having it replaced driving is much smoother than before.
It is very common in fiestas. My fiesta also struggles to get in reverse, but if I lift the clutch and lower it, it pops in to reverse. It’s a strange one
@@JordanThirkle I have the Ford Fiesta MK8 and finally ford have sorted out this issue. For example: just say if I was in reverse gear and want to put it 1st gear i just put it in that gear what I need without putting it in neutral. The older Fiestas use to bug me because you would have to take it out of gear so many times because of the grinding noise. Finally MK8 power steering pump doesnt make a whining noise when doing a full lock.
Hi Ian, yes Rody and myself bought the ecotiles, just arrived yesterday. May fit them Monday hopefully, there's a story to the buying of them, I'll spill the beans real soon!!! Take care Sandy

ford engineer one day: lets eliminate they drain plug on the IB5 just for fun.
Are these engines and clutch the same as the 2013 mk7.5 fiesta 1.2
How many hours did this job take from start to finish? Thanks great vid!
I have driven my car more than 1,34000 and didn’t got my clutch plates replaced. Even the car is working fine . What is the timeline to get a new Cp ?
Jeez, the rust on the subframe? Looks like a boat anchor?
