Here in Tennessee, we have a major moonshine company that sells peanut butter and jelly flavored moonshine (along with 20 or 30 other flavors). It is as horrid as it sounds.
For those confused by the terms: (In the US) Bourbon whiskey is made from a mash that is majority corn and aged in new charred oak barrels. Rye whiskey is made from a majority rye mash and aged in new charred oak barrels. Tennessee whiskey is essentially a bourbon, but because of long standing rivalry with Kentucky bourbon producers they almost never use the term and instead use the term straight whiskey to declare that they use nothing but corn in their mash (almost all bourbons are also straight whiskey as well but these folks will fight over anything). The major difference is filtering the alcohol through charcoal before the whiskey is barreled. Scotch is made with a malted barley mash and has some other specific rules which get pretty esoteric. Irish whiskey seems to be legal to make with any mash but barley seems to be the standard. The major distinction is in the kind of still used.
Sometimes I come back to this just to watch them drink mellow corn because I find it hilarious. Mellow corn is the sort of thing you need a special palette for, and the palette I'm talking about is someone that drinks bourbon every single day.

For future reference for anyone wondering: American rye is a whiskey where the mash includes at least 51% rye grain, aged in charred new oak (same kind of barrel as bourbon). There's also legal alcohol numbers for distilling and barrel entry, but that's all the layman needs to know. Straight rye is the above but aged at least two years and hasn't been blended.
Whiskey is the general term for distilled spirits made from a fermented grain mash. Irish, Scotch, and Bourbon are types of whiskey made following a specific process. Bourbon must be 51% corn, 40% to 80% ABV and aged in charred oak barrels. Scotch is mostly malted barley and aged in oak casks. Usually in America if its not Bourbon, its just called whiskey... like Jack Daniels, Tin Cup, and anything Rye.
That Corn whisky is probably meant for cocktails or to be mixed with a touch of water or ice. There is also a fashion trend in the USA regarding retro-generic labels, either looking like older labels that had limited printing technology, an extreme example is beer in a plain white can with "BEER" in black letters and no decoration. In my state spirits are taxed based on bottle volume not the alcohol content, so over proof liquors are often a better value when making mixed drinks.
Ive been drinkin with the try channel for 3 years now….I have to drink when I watch the try channel. It’s not a question it’s a requirement! She made the video for me. When she gave up and acknowledged she lost was the funniest ever. Been seeing this video multiple times for that reason only.
Rye whiskey is only classified as such if it's mash contains a minimum of 51% rye. Rebel Yell is one of the ryes that is at the minimum and has corn. There are rye whiskeys that go far beyond the minimum. Bulliet rye is 95% rye, so is Sagamore Spirits. The other 5% is generally barley. Some rye whiskey is 100% rye, like Catoctin Creek, and Canadian Club. Love to see you all try some rye that's closer to true rye whiskey. Rye whiskey with corn is always to close to bourbon for me.

Okay, now THAT was funny. 🙂
Justine: "Now I can be an whiskey alcoholic" 🤣👏👍
I'm dying over how Clisare's tongue noises just after 9:45 sound like "Neither did I". She sure is talented.
Always love Dermot and Clisare together ❤
“ normally whiskey smells like whiskey “
Hmm yes the floor is made out of floor
I had missed Dermot drinking!!
Keep that rebel yell bottle it's now a collectors item since they removed the word Yell from their labels
So good to see Dermot and Claire together
For future reference for anyone wondering:
American rye is a whiskey where the mash includes at least 51% rye grain, aged in charred new oak (same kind of barrel as bourbon).
10:00 Love Clisare's laugh
Thank you 😂 nobody makes me laugh like Dermot 🥰🥰
The.. amount of innuendo here is cracking me up, when she started going on about opening her throat so she doesn't taste anything I died.
Ah, Barrel Hitch, the whiskey training wheels for my friends! ♥️🥃
Someone grew up reading all of the Curious George books judging from the corn whiskey bottles color palette.
there is so many layers going on in this video and i'm dying 🤣💀
I would not want to be the one to tell Martin and Ciara there was a whiskey video without them.
Every time Justine took a shot w/o a fuss I expected her to reach down to her neck and pull off a mask revealing Ciara underneath.
Dermot is aggressively happy at the beginning 🤣
That bottle of corn whiskey looks like it belongs in the kitchen where you keep your baking items
Ive been drinkin with the try channel for 3 years now….I have to drink when I watch the try channel. It’s not a question it’s a requirement!
So I was gifted a half of a giant bottle of gentleman Jack and I’m in a better place right now. But if it was highland single malt scotch (no less than 12yrs old) I would be in heaven.
These are some of the best ppl on the face of the earth! Slanche to ya sirs! Lol I’m sure I misspelled that. 😅but cheers 🍻 anyway!
Seeing Laura absolutely drunk, but able to keep her composure, was the best thing ever
She made the video for me. When she gave up and acknowledged she lost was the funniest ever. Been seeing this video multiple times for that reason only.
🌟 *MARTIN IS GOING TO BE MAD & SAD HE MISSED THIS* 😖 😢 🥃
Everyone , Stay Safe 😷 & 💓 Much Love ~ 😈🔺🦋
He will still give them all 10 outta 10
Martin got to do the Taiwanese Whiskeys, which were all considered quite good, while poor Dermot missed out.
I mean... the bottles aren't empty yet. Martin knows to come around for some off-camera tasting, I'm sure.
A whiskey video with no Martin?!? I cry foul! That's like having a spicy food challenge without Ciara. You just don't do it.
Dermot 👍 Spot-ON, sir !! Whenever I see a bottle of Rebel Yell, that Billy Idol tune starts playing in my head too.
