Had the 2,0 140 for nearly 2 months now and yes agree it does handle well for a big estate and the mpg return is incredible for its size, however I've seen just one other car since owning so shows no one really bothered with it.
Our 2011 2.0 wagon is also the same. Sits very low and I guess as result it runs out spring travel really fast. If you have smooth flat roads it's good but would not recommend if driving across bumpy or uneven roads. Apparently the 2.2 has even stuffer springs so can't I can't imagine what's that is like.
@@JeZZGroit’s perfect. Puttholes are nicely damped and driving at high speed on motorways is 100% comfort. My previous car was the 2012 Audi A4 Avant, and this 508 is superior in all domains.
@@AnoNymous-ne3ix Did you have some problems with car? I wamt to buy 2.0 automatic, but some of people that have this car they say that they have some electrical problems...
Hea one of the best reviewers
Im gonna buy 508 with the THP 1,6 petrol. I suppose its with the automatic egs gearbox. Is it as bad as everyone says?
I bought the car and the automatic gearbox is not as bad as many people say. It works great
@@niklas1914 Are you happy with the purchase? Is the gear shift jerky with automatic?
could be an idea to "google" the 1,6 thp. problems: camshaft chain, nozzles, turbo, oil cooler,. So many errors (had one 2011 year car)

Is this a good car? What about sound isolation?
Good review except the ride comments. My 2014 Allure 140 HDi has an appallingly hard ride on 18” wheels.
Same here. Wonder why? The springs? The car seems to have very low ride height for some reason both front and rear.

Wrong I have the 163PS in manual…
How is it?
Pretty awesome. Powerful and 5.2l / 100km and reliable !

Is this a used car being reviewed in 2023 or a car reviewed back when car was new
Back when it was new
Oh for gods sake shut up about the damn mondeo! Every english reviewer loves it! It sucks
Maybe good but Ford is boring
