Extreme support for a gender can become like the reservation issue which we are facing now. "Not every deserving person is eligible and not every eligible person is deserving". Feminism should be targeted towards uplifting both men and women who are affected and not bringing one gender above the other.
NB: We strongly support feminism in the perspective of gender equality, so this video is not against who think the same but those who redirect feminism in the wrong way, those who are misandrist or those who do not understand the fundamentals of feminism but claim to be feminists themselves. Chinchu is representing such a character as you all know no genuine feminists will appear this way in the real life and complain about baseless things.

Feminism doesnt mean proposing women to be higher than man. The definition itself goes like " The advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes". Ours has been a patriarchal society and i feel feminism is just a reaction for the our actions. Am glad some bold ladies are speaking up against the disparity and atleast a section of society does support them. Maybe your point was criticizing extreme feminism but the way you mocked at the feminist has been just like how Malayalam Cinemas used to mock them once ..like Sukumari wearing large sun glasses and other luxury. We wanted to speak against those who propagate a movement against men pretending to be supporting women where real feminism should be uplifting men and women who are affected or pushed down. Chinchu dressing up like that was intentional as everyone knows she don’t dress up like that. Its just about the timing of such videos ..This topic has been raging in the society for some months now and two of our actresses was the target of vicious online harassment..i was taken aback to see it happening in my state Kerala, a state considered to be relatively progressive...so many people lashing out in the vlogs & comments against them and the WCC ..the truth is, all of this stems from our intolerance to women raising their voices in ways that are unfamiliar to us. We as a society are seeing bigger propagandas than the one you mentioned..but we turn a blind eye towards em..such puns would make them miss the bigger picture of feminism.
