Thanks for the great battle report. Love all the LI content. Only rules mistake I spotted was that when planes intercept they are at -2 to hit, so the solar flyers intercepting the fire raptors would have been hitting on 6+ not 5+ and woukd have got 2 rather than 4 hits. Looking forward to more LI content.
Superb Battle report! Some rules mistakes that I noticed: 1. Buildings without a garrison don't count as hostile models and as such aren't a valid charge target 2. Wrecker triggers when you activate the model in the first fire or advance fire phase. A charging model cannot use wrecker. 3. You only get the -1 to shoot into combat if the models are 1 scale difference from each other (so a Knight(4) that is engaged with a super heavy vehicle (3) would incur a penalty, but a knight (4) that is engaged with a vehicle (2) would not) 4. Barrage Weapons cannot be fired as part of an overwatch, so the Knight overwatching the ogryns could hat not have fired it (this did not impact the game tho)
Thank you for the report. Just remember that the titans and knights get a little protection with obscuring system. 25%=-1 to hit and 50% or more is -2. Very similar to AT. Not that the knight didn't make a bunch of saves anyways, but it can help them survive.
Another great report. More confidence with the thought of running a Titan list. I think Titans are good when they come with at least some infantry support.
One issue i noticed which i don;t have a definitive answer for is shooting order and void shields, you can't choose what weapon you fire at a titan first due to the fact there is a rule in the titan death book that lets you. An example is you can't use your other weapons to take down all the void shields then fire your volcano cannon after, I'm assuming its should be the same for light at weapons where you can't take down the shields with at weapons then fire the light at to hit the wounds. There has not been any clarification on how this is meant to work, i think its all attacks happen at the same time and the defender allocates them, which could be simplified to defending player picks the order of the weapons getting shot. Also wrecker happens in either the first fire or advancing fire stage, and from a quick read it looks like you only engaged the building and the detachment inside could have moved out as they are not engaged with the titan, also you can advanced into base contact with a building in order to wrecker it i think you were close enough to the big building you could have walked up to it and wreckered it, plus you can still shoot.
@@tragicthegarnering3619 I've always wondered about the timing. Glad to know I'm not crazy. We were both super rusty though, so I'm not surprised we didn't catch that lol.
Do an Epic: Armageddon battle report plz. I remember the rules being more "realistic" and not that focused on the dice fest. Artillery barrages, crossfire and blast markers I think are really good rules from EA.
Loving all these LI Battle Reports! Really great stuff to keep the motivation high!
Heck yes! So happy for Legions Imperialis stuff dude!

Also titans always blow up. The radius and hits are based on how many wounds you have.

Love legions, thanks for the batrep. Maybe one day we will get 40k epic back!
Oh cool! Love a bit of LI.
Hey, I know your Thanksgiving was a month ago, or so, but happy Thanksgiving from your southern viewers!
Hi Ashe. 😊
Nice batrep always nice to see Epic being played. Question what did you use for the squares of area terrain the ruins are sitting on?
Dollar store art panels
Legions! Great game.
Loved watching that reaver tear apart the titan bay in the center of the board. Thanks again for the games Ash!
One is playing for fun, the other is powerplaying the shit out of the game, nice.
Lol, which one of us was which? We both were just there for a good time.
