Very informative. I too followed all these points when my Jake was a puppy. Though we got so many advices regarding dog training, we always felt that we are the best trainers for our Jake. And I can proudly say that he is the best boy ever. Those who meet him anywhere loves and pampers him more than us. Though he is a large breed (golden), people or even small kids never ever hesitates to touch him or hug him. I am a very proud mother of my Jake just as both of you and I believe that this similarity always connects me to both of you. I love both your babies Flurry and Kiu because I feel the purity of my Jake in their eyes. Just as Deepanjan said I hate people hitting their dogs in the name of making them disciplined. I am also the mother of 5 strays whom I feed morning and evening. I really feel satisfied when I do this. I even keep talking to them also just as I do with my Jake. I don't know people will call me a crack or not.. But I don't care. These sweethearts are my lifeline.

Our shih tzu puppy bites excessively in the evenings... So during that time we tie it for 30 minutes or so... now it's reduced...
Yes I believe in the 3 C’s . It’s important that everyone in the household are also on the right page because it can throw your puppy off

Excellent way of explaining.... I did all that but my puppy is 10 month old and still playbites me sometime though it is much less than before now.....i guess he will eventually stop as he grows up more....load of love to kiyu and flurry ❤

We have brought a male shitzu 30 days old and is currently 40 days old. For first few days he was alright but now he growls and bite. It's hard to take in lap...please inform

Thank you so much for your videos. They are truly useful especially coming from just experienced pet parents. We were pet parents to a Lhasa Apso, who passed away in February 2020. Our experience of training a pet is over 12 years old when we got 'Muffin' in 2009, so we are out of practice. We have just become pet parents to a little Shih tzu. He whines a lot at night to come into our bed & does not stop till we take him up on the bed. He is just 50 days old so he is not toilet trained. And we would like him to be used to staying alone sometimes too. Please advise how to handle this situation.

Sir i am in a wheelchair......i got a Shih Tzu puppy 5 days ago ......but he plays and sleeps below my power wheelchair......he doesn't let go of me for even 10 seconds.....as my mom is a senior citizen......i have to clean after him......make his food.....go to office..it gets really hard.......he follows me everywhere all day 24*7......

Thanks a lot for such an informative video. I am a new pet parent. Actually I don't have any experience of even touching a pet before as I am so much scared of them. I have two kids now and I thought to have a shitzu puppy so that I just want to make my kids to get a chance to interact with them and love them rather than being scared just like me.. Our puppy is 2and half months now. Nowadays it seems very hard to keep him calm as he likes to bite my small girl she's just 2nd 1/2 years. She's not scared but laughs whenever our puppy jump on her and starts to bite her feet. I am feeling very much worried about this. Anyway I will tryout your advice and if there is any other suggestions please reply..

Im having 3 months old Shih Tzu im facing the same it not only bite my hand it also bites my clothes i feel very funny while he is doing that but i can say half of my clothes are torn and thanks for the 3 C's lets apply this and see would he change that habit or not . Thanks for the info❤️

I have 2 months old shihtzu, while trying to make him understand the biting tolerance, what if he really bites me? Shouldnt I be getting vaccine??? And he has runny nose most of the time? Is this common with shihtzu?
By runny nose do you mean moist nose? Moist nose is normal. But if it's runny then can be due to cold or other allergic reaction which need to be checked by the vet

2500 to 3000 for initial 6 months including vaccines. Each vaccine would cost roughly 1000. The expenses would come down gradually as the puppy grows old.

My mom loves Oreo (My puppy) but she hates his biting. She says that he is mixed breed,he is weird. But I tell her that this is totally normal but she won't agree...😞😞💔💔
What exactly your mother mean by mixed breed, I am not sure. Human babies too bite things when they go through their teething face, that doesn't mean one will doubt the gene. Give your puppies enough chew toys and follow that is being explained in the video. A 45days old puppy need love and utmost care. If people in the house disgust them doubting the breed then I am very sorry to say but can't help, the parents need to be educated and trained at first

Jokes apart. Small breeds especially Shihtzu's are known to be the most stubborn dogs. Be consistent with your training and have patience
