I absolutely love Cat Glover!! She is one of my favorite proteges. She was the original hype woman and she was the blueprint and kept up with Prince's energetic moves. Though I must admit, this interview is hella awkward. Lol.

Denny's on Sunset boulevard during the 90's after all was over. She looked like she had the best time of her life!!! i think it was in 1993. Yeah i was the guy he was always singing about but didnt say nothing. A friend from a past life didnt forget about me. Sad Puppet Dance!!!
I happily met Cat Glover at a "Prince party" in Chicago in 1996. She was down to earth, easy to talk to and a lot of fun to be around.

Sign o the Times was/is my favorite Prince movie! I remember when I was a kid I would use my allowance money to rent this movie multiple times. Didn't find it at a store where I could buy it at the time. Back then, I thought Cat/Prince had great chemistry.

This must have been recorded in the fall or winter of ‘87 as Sign O The Times was still in the theaters (which I saw several times), but before rumors of The Black Album surfaced. I was working at a record store when The Black Album was rumored to come out. We had Prince written on the upcoming release board and read articles about The Black Album which were in Billboard almost every week. At the same time a lot of the Parade/Dream Factory bootlegs surfaced. Great time to be a Prince fan.

Rogers Nelson, you're not alone. I've loved Cat since she came on the scene. Her energy, her dancing was the perfect match for Prince. They had great chemistry. I've never been a fan of Mayte's dancing. She had very little technique. For me, she added nothing to NPG. I've never had any interest in Prince love life, it was about the music. So I don't involved myself in the whole Mayte was his soul mate, Vanity was his soul mate crap. Cat, we need you to rap!

Prince was not of this world. That said, sexing with Prince comes with risks......he will put it on you like only he knew how.....and flip a woman inside out. @@christophertracy2807 From a dancer's point of view Cat's skill level was much higher and the difficulty of her dance moves were very high and not everyone can do what she did. I watched the Twinz and the most that I have seen is hair whipping and two steps not anything elaborate. The Twinz's moves are much easier to do. Their moves are more stationary and a lot of hips thrusts and head cocking. They remind me of Diamonds and Pearls choreography. I would love to see them try to keep up with Cat in her prime. I do not think they could beat her in a dance off. JS.

Supergrover There is nothing wrong with Donnie Simpson’s interviewing or his style in my opinion. He’s a very down to earth guy. In his day he was one of the only guys that artist would talk to. Brooks was trying to be cool and him and Cat were playing the game.

Mayte and Prince had KNOWN eachother for about 10 yrs but they were NOT together for no 10 yrs..Cuz Mayte was ONLY 16 a MINOR when she first met him after her MOTHER made sure he got her belly dancing tape..Prince was seeing other women Carmen,Nona and Lori from Diamond and Pearl..He married Mayte in '96 and in '98 is when he first met and started seeing Vanity look alike Manuela ..who he ended up marrying in 2001 one yr after divorcing Mayte.
Manuela does look like a cross between Vanity and Halle Berry. Lucky woman. That’s how she landed Prince and next Eric Benet.. it all makes sense now.🤨
