  • First Day in Malaysia: Exploring Bukit Bintang & Trying Authentic Malaysian Food!
Welcome to Day 1 of our unforgettable trip to Malaysia! 🇲🇾
After a long journey, we finally landed and made our way to the vibrant and bustling Bukit Bintang area, known as the heart of Kuala Lumpur's nightlife, shopping, and food scene. Excited to dive into Malaysian culture, we started our adventure by checking into our cozy hotel and seeking out some authentic Malaysian food to kick things off.
Our hotel concierge recommended a local favorite - Serai, a restaurant known for its blend of traditional Malaysian flavors with a modern twist. From Nasi Lemak to Satay, this place did not disappoint! Watch as we explore the area, try incredible dishes, and soak in the lively atmosphere of Bukit Bintang.

Only hotels have knives as their table set up. You have to request at restaurants inside malls if they have it. 'Western food' places also have knives. Other places just fork & spoon or eat with your hands. Every place have a variety of hand washing set ups.

Ohh, I didn't know know that, I thought this is just how it is in Malaysia. To be honest, it was quite nice eating with a fork and spoon only.

I agree, I just ate it how I thought it would be. Next time I’ll make sure to eat it the proper way.
