Our hotel concierge recommended a local favorite - Serai, a restaurant known for its blend of traditional Malaysian flavors with a modern twist. Only hotels have knives as their table set up. You have to request at restaurants inside malls if they have it. 'Western food' places also have knives. Other places just fork & spoon or eat with your hands. Every place have a variety of hand washing set ups.

Ohh, I didn't know know that, I thought this is just how it is in Malaysia. To be honest, it was quite nice eating with a fork and spoon only.
