I think they are trying to reduce the amount of trades so they implemented some sort of delay to allow the person who did the most damage and/or punched first to win the enggagement
You understand when you “ghost” a melee it’s simply the opposing player having a much higher ping. It’s very simple.

I think some of those melee interactions were a bug with how the melee trade work, and the overshield. It happened to me as well
Nice gameplay always love seeing your vids, one thing I wanted to mention is that your "make sure to subscribe" clip always has music that plays over the intro music. Sounds a bit weird when they start to overlap, but I know it's only a small nitpick haha

ball resets neutral that's why it does for ball and not flag. If you pull flag all the way to your base and then it reset's that gives the defenders in that case an advantage. So it allows you to finish your flag run if you have good momentum.

I'm an Onyx and see it more times than not in higher ranking games. Most people just strafe but once u get higher up everyone does both.
The thing about this game is that it’s almost not about who’s the better player once you get to a certain point, it becomes luck.
I’m once you get past 1700 onyx, everyone has great aim and can 4 shot and snipe easily. It’s a matter of who has worse desync. There were even a few spots here where Luciid appears to shoot someone that was behind a wall. I’m willing to bet the other guy was raging because he absolutely was behind a wall but desync wasn’t on his side.
Halo Infinite is going to end up bringing back the term “online warrior”.
He's guaranteed better than these guys even without good desync and as a 1700 player as you claim you should know this. But still your point does have merit and desync is a major problem that should be fixed
I feel like that’s just bitter human nature I’m not blaming u I blame that shit to most off the time but what separates a good player from a great player in halo is knowing it’s not all about aim in fact it’s a small part off fps especially in halo because aim assist is so strong u can’t just “run and gun” like some other shooters
@@chrisgratton6436 being individually better than someone means very little in a game like halo. Pros still lose to regular kids in matchmaking all the time. But what I’m saying is because of things like desync, it appears to make players look more impressive than they are.
How many times have you not gotten a beat down but died because the other guy did? Or got out BR’d even though you didn’t miss?
The other guy probably thought he was better than you but in reality, you just got bad breaks.

@@mikepal830 Idk I use my own settings I’ve played with for years (bought a scuf in 2014). For me jump is right paddle crouch is left paddle. Melee is r3.
