Of all the things I thought couldn't be CGI, uh...the bee definitely wasn't one of them. Did anyone actually think that was the shot that must have been real?!? Kudos though to their effects team. Some of these background shots and shots of even the cobblestones were absolutely seamless. I think you genuinely have to assume with 90% of period pieces that aren't in just one location, or that show aerial views, that effects are involved because times have really changed, but still very well done.
The bee, the wide shot over the town and the background when Kanthony were horseracing in the woods were pretty obvious cgi, other than those I didn't realise vfx was used.
The fireworks were real. I was there. Obviously not used for every take but they did get the shot at least 1-2 times for real and then all the reaction shots were to nothing.
10:11 Are you sure this is a fake location? This looks like Blenheim Palace to me. I live local. The two water features are identical, as is the palace in the background
Maybe I just play too many video games, but I could definitely tell a lot of the background were vfx, especially the wideshots. Also, England looked way too sunny lol
Same, it’s easy enough for me to miss because I’m not looking for it and it’s well done, but if I’m looking for it I can spot it. I think it’s to its benefit though, since it is well done it brings a fairytale esque quality to the series.

Amiga el trasfonod historico es horrible, me gusta la serie, pero decir que el trafondo historico es precioso esta de locos, al menos que seas de la realeza y hombre el trasfondo te pareceria asi de bello

I literally never even thought that a LOT of this show was CGI. That's absolutely crazy, it means it's so well done the natural eye can't tell 😮😮😮
the only vfx I could tell was the bee i didn't realize all those backgrounds were fake.

The only scene I realized was CGI/vfx before watching this was George and Charlotte on the balcony after coronation.

That's it. I mean it isn't a real story and I thought the look was apart of that. It is very colorful and sunny, and frankly beautiful.
