      Tbh from 3:01 to 3:05 is a mess too. No offense tho. Love the guys but that shit made my toes curl. I've seen them perform better

      I'll add in as a fellow guitarist (who mostly plays 6 string and little less 7 string)... Tbh, I am not even an iota close to their skill level. And even for Scott and Tim playing an 8 string "Polyphia" composition in a dimly lit stage like that is a challenge in my opinion. Especially playing correct notes on wrong string (because that's what Scott did in couple of the places).
      Tim and Scott did have a history of playing sloppy in past (I saw couple of "Renaissance" era live clips) but the current Polyphia has improved a lot.

    Is it the lights? They don’t usually make this many mistakes on the easy parts. Gonna go see them anyways tho

      Dude the energy at the show is crazy. At this part everyone was crowd surfing, their was a huge mosh pit and it was overall awesome. It’s a great time, you’ll love it

    Why is Tim Henson playing slap bass lines on the guitar when the bass player could be contributing something to the song?

    • @IFMRAW
      @IFMRAW  ปีที่แล้ว +22

      Because he’s Tim Henson

    • @Shadowman-1960
      @Shadowman-1960 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@heubert69 What I was refering to is the bass player doesn't seem to be doing much except for hitting single notes once in awhile, and could have been playing the slap lines along with Tim Henson. His bass playing doesn't seem very good to me and not at the guitarists level of playing.

      @@Shadowman-1960 I know, and the real reason is probably just tone

      @josephmiguelcruz1313 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      that's how it's wrote, they've probably gone through hundreds of versions of this song and still chose to do this one where the bass ties everything with a single note (compared to it feeling empty or having a totally different vibe if it followed the guitar part)@@Shadowman-1960
