I'll add in as a fellow guitarist (who mostly plays 6 string and little less 7 string)... Tbh, I am not even an iota close to their skill level. And even for Scott and Tim playing an 8 string "Polyphia" composition in a dimly lit stage like that is a challenge in my opinion. Especially playing correct notes on wrong string (because that's what Scott did in couple of the places). Tim and Scott did have a history of playing sloppy in past (I saw couple of "Renaissance" era live clips) but the current Polyphia has improved a lot.
Dude the energy at the show is crazy. At this part everyone was crowd surfing, their was a huge mosh pit and it was overall awesome. It’s a great time, you’ll love it
@@heubert69 What I was refering to is the bass player doesn't seem to be doing much except for hitting single notes once in awhile, and could have been playing the slap lines along with Tim Henson. His bass playing doesn't seem very good to me and not at the guitarists level of playing.
that's how it's wrote, they've probably gone through hundreds of versions of this song and still chose to do this one where the bass ties everything with a single note (compared to it feeling empty or having a totally different vibe if it followed the guitar part)@@Shadowman-1960

alcohol? perhaps? weed? lol
the ”easy” parts are usually easiest to mess up live lol
Sound like 😎
Why is Tim Henson playing slap bass lines on the guitar when the bass player could be contributing something to the song?
Because he’s Tim Henson
just to make it harder to cover

@@Shadowman-1960 I know, and the real reason is probably just tone

Bass player was probably thinking "I could unplug and walk off stage and nobody would notice."
Lol no.
I can only imagine not only hearing but FEELING that bass in person. It's gotta be a whole other experience on it's own lol
haha nahhh clay g is the goat

@@FumiDoku I prefer not to listen to music in mono.
It sounds like everyone is doing some noodling around, idk
