Have no idea what warhammer is, but the lore is so vast I can’t help but still watch videos about it. Hopefully in the future I can get my hands on the tabletop, so thanks for recommending this one for new players
Gonna have to watch tomorrow. It's real late for me now. Warcry is the best. Got me warbands for Nurgle Daemons, Mortals, SCEs, Kruleboyz, SBGLs, FECs as well as the warbands from this kit and will be getting more in the near future. Man, I wish I could go over there and play some warcry with AJ.
I've never played Warhammer or wanted to but I find it interesting and got my first introduction because I'm a Total War fan. Its a bit similar to Star Wars where I played Empire at War recently and the Thrawns Revenge mod and had no idea how deep the Star Wars lore goes and how cool the alternate Lore is. I watched Episode 7 and haven't cared about Star Wars since. Even though I know nothing about 40k I know it has a lot of potential and if he Henry Cavill show happens it could be really good.
If there's anyone in the Albany NY capital region that wants to play table tops hit me up, I would love to find local players otherwise I have to wait a few years for my son to get older.looking for friendly players to learn and enjoy different table top games with
This set can't be bought from GW anymore. The rules have been superseeded by v2 of the rules, but are basically the same. You now have Reactions while your enemy acts. Of course the v1 is still playable with friends and there is a second hand market with plenty of stuff even painted to a good standard aka Contrast / Speedpaints.
You ask anyone that has worked for GW which is the best rule set that GW has made, they will all say the same Lord of the rings! It is also the best gateway into the hobby because of the movies. Can we have some Lord of the rings on the channel because damn that game needs some love!

Necromunda, Warcry and Kill Team basically crush it for GW. They are making them bucket loads of cash.

Mordheim is the best. Warcry is just a crappy dumbed down and PG13 version
