  • The process of purchasing and importing this car took several months but it was worth the wait. Prepare yourself for unbridled joy as I see my Kei car for the first time.
This video is NOT a how to and does not offer any advice on importing a Kei vehicle of your own.

Thank you so much, this is such a wonderful compliment. I've been making rally videos for years which are more of a serious docuseries style. I wanted to really have fun with this video series and get creative. My goal is to keep the Van as the star of the show but still keep those human elements of passion, happiness, and joy because we could all use more of that!

I live in Illinois too. I want one of these. Were you able to license and insure it? It's awesome. I can understand why you are so excited. Enjoy it.

660cc, what is the top speed you can go?

With the gearing in MY van I can comfortably do about 90kph or 55mph and that is plenty fast for me. I have no desire to stress the engine just to see how fast I could push it. There are different models with different options like superchargers, different gearing, ect so the top speed of a Dias in general can vary. Mine is very basic with the exception of AC which I never use because it pulls too much power off the already small engine. Plus I'm a windows down kind of gal.
