    I’m gonna need a review video with both sets of pads present. I’d love to see both of them next to each other and to see the differences in strapping, and what you prefer

    Welcome back Dustin. Thanks for this review. Love to see the difference with your 20.1 set. In particular the strapping. I added a rotation strap to mine and took off the elastic and felt the difference right away. Would love to see the differences side by side between the 20.1 and 12.2. Also would love more about the RXS knee guards. And since you are asking....True one piece skate versus two piece. Lol. Ok. That's it. I am done asking.

    i born in communist czechoslovakia and been a goalie since early age until my teenage. i think last time i had full gear on me was 1989. to see how the gear evolved is impressive and makes me to think that i should try and gear up after all those years to check how tit feels! your videos are making me feel like i should do it sometimes soon

      You gotta get the pads back on and have some fun! Gear has definitely come a long way since 89. But nothing wrong with getting some old gear from the 80s and playing that too

    Great to see this review, was curious about the leg pads. Also your tip about the strapping in a prior video plus this one really helped with my L20.1 rotation/tilt issue.
    As for the catcher, I love my L20.1 with 580 break. I went from Vaughn to CCM, which had a 590 break. I sort of went to 580 without much testing, and am definitely a convert. Would highly recommend trying to test one out when you’re able.

      Yeah?? Nice man! It’s been a while since I’ve tried a set of Vaughn’s. They definitely look tempting. Especially with their old school graphics

      @@BonesyTV I have the Brian’s knee pads and I still feel y knees a little sore from coming down. I added some sport pads to go under and helps. If there a one type of pad that has adequate cushion and movement I’m in. They also catch my knee socks and tear them sometimes

    • @BonesyTV
      @BonesyTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I’ve had older knee pads that break down in that landing area and I’ve ended up adding my own foam for comfort but these have held up pretty well so far. I’ll touch on that and the compatibility with my socks for sure
