I loved your tips, thanks! I've moved from secondary to primary teaching this year and I realised I was clueless in behaviour management. I'm going to try these strategies out next week ;)

Most underappreciated profession to be in. So quit now. Students are great but school bureaucracy is awful.

Hello there! I’m a dance teacher from Australia and I love your tips! :) Even though I teach dance, these tips help because kids will be kids and I teach a lot that are of these age groups (#coughs uber cheeky ones too!)
I find the these tips are super helpful for the dance students who are brand new, or haven’t been dancing that all, who doesn’t quite know the studio etiquettes yet etc. It’s even super effective for students who have been been dancing for a long time!
You know what’s funny (and of course I adjust it a little to suit dance) but I apply these tips to the teens and adults and it works! Haha! I’m only new here and subbed so will be around more! :) Thank you!
Lastly, to your credit I’ve been teaching dance for over 20 years now so I’ve already developed a lot of my own tips and tricks but I still find your channel super helpful! :) Thanks!

i hate it when teachers use the sticks or lolipops also just calling on random students because when i get called everyone looks at me and then i get really nervous then i forget what i was about to say.

The best tip for teachers is to quit teaching and find a real job. Since high schools in the United States are no longer allowed to award diplomas to students who fail to pass the state graduation test there’s really no point in attending school anymore. It really does make more sense to homeschool then just take the state GED test if you didn’t get a diploma from the online academy, which again, would necessitate passing the state graduation test anyway, so why bother? And then when some lunatic shoots up your local school at least you won’t be there to become a statistic. You may need to start college at community college with a GED but that will save you money. Once you’ve got two years of credits you can simply transfer to a four year university.
