im back with a special video ! this video is my 1k sub special but also my 2 anniversary of being on yt (no it totally was not 2 months ago lol). im ngl i never thought i would make it to 1k subs so im shocked i even surpassed it lol. i want to say thank you to everyone who has subbed and everyone who watches my videos. the overwhelming support always makes me want to improve and continue editing. i feel like my editing has finally reached a level im happy with but i also want to improve beyond how far ive already gotten. so again thank you to everyone! ♥
for this montage, i wanted to look back into my older videos and reinvent one of them. i chose hate you specifically because i made it around a good time and it brings back a lot of memories to that time. because i chose an older video to reinvent, i also wanted it to have those ow1 vibes which is why all the clips are from ow1 (im ngl i really miss ow1 and i kind of hate ow2 but oh well lol....) for the editing i really wanted a fast paced feel that looks good, most of the time my faster paced montages end up feeling very rushed and unpolished so i tend to stray away from them. however with this video, i went full sync on a lot of the clips using a new method of velocity ive never tried before and i honestly love it lol. i really hope u enjoyed this video! let me know what you think below :)

Omg wow where do I even start 😭 This is the best flow I’ve ever seen in a mercy montage!! The way the scene always changed on every single beat in the chorus was so amazing. And I love how you chose the song it gave me such good vibes back to some of your old montage!!! Such an amamzing job ❤️

Atlantic Mercy with blue wings in valk 💙 It’s my favourite Mercy skin and I don’t know how you did it but I love it! I can tell you put a lot of effort into this video, from the green wings of the Sugar Plum Fairy skin to just the amazing velocity, tbh I got so caught off guard by it and I had to re-watch lmao. I think that the idea of using a throwback song for an anniversary / celebratory montage was absolutely PERFECT thinking!! It really takes you back to when things were starting off and allows you to appreciate just how far you have come since then, AND THE SHIFT HAS BEEN ABSOLUTELY ASTONISHING IMO, like looking back at your editing 2 years ago compared to now holds such massive improvements and I'm confident that a year from now you're editing will be 10x better ( which i think is gonna be difficult since its already fucking AMAZING, but i know that if you push that boundary further then our minds might physically explode out of awe ) ! Honestly if i could describe you're editing in a few words they would likely be 'something so beautiful that i cannot even imagine it before i see it' LIKE UR BRAIN IS QUITE LITERALLY LARGER THAN MINE!!!
In this edit especially i love the updated throwback-y vibe that it holds and I'm sure that was the whole intention (obviously) but from the smaller details like the similar cc used here as in the original edit (and that same blurr effect which i have only seen in the other anniversary montage hehe) really shows how passionate you were about making this an exceptional piece, and it really shows the 'new me' aspect and how you arent afraid to literally go above and beyond! I really love how quick and clean some transions are and how it plays into a really chaoticly hypnotic effect which really immersed me in what I was seeing, like I was so focused on the screen that it felt like I was almost watching it in the cinema (and let's be honest, if I did see this in the cinema I'd gladly pay 10 bucks, no lie!)
I think I speak for many people when I say that watching you grow (even from just a year ago) has been a PRIVILEGE and honestly just being lucky enough to experience your work is one of the wonders of the Internet imo, like it might sound a lil dramatic but I am constantly looking forward to every new edit / montage you put out there (even if it's just a scrapped valorant montage which I still watched like 20 times because its like.... really good lol.)
Tbh I'm a lil impatient to see more of your work because it's frankly an addiction of mine by now but that goes to show how excited I am to see more from you! I am SO excited to see what comes next and I could even go as far to say that I am thankful that you put so much effort and care into your work as watching them feels like a massive treat every single time!

the transitions i used here were mainly blurs and glow transitions!
How do you get those like cut scenes and stuff I just got ae 2020
the cines are from overwatch replay mode and to learn ae, i would use youtube tutorials + trial and error!
