    Thanks for your insight!
I have been using the Freewell VND magnetic system for a while and very impressed. There seems less bulky than these H&Y

Peter, I appreciate your disclaimer about your relationship. A couple of comments and questions:
    - yes, you won't need to use step-up/down rings. But you will need to use the proper-sized holder, depending on your lens. So, that's kind of a wash. I travel lightly and can easily select and carry any step rings.
    - Can you use your existing screw-on filters with this system?
I am always concerned when someone introduces a "system" because it locks you into what is often an inferior product. If there was a way to use this system with filters I already like and own, I might be receptive.
I've never felt screw-on filters were a problem that needs to be solved, especially if it means spending several hundred dollars on something new, and letting my several hundred dollars of filters gather dust.
    Look forward to your response.
    Thanks!

I always try to tell if I have any disclaimers.
In most cases I only need one RevoRing. It can be used lenses with different size filter size. There are times that you might need a second one like the case with my 8-25mm F4 Pro. I have step-up and step-down rings that I also use with some of my older filters. They are ok, but time to time that have stuck into the filter. Some filters are quite narrow and it is hard to get the ring of sometimes. H&Y also has magnetic adapters that can screwed on the lens and it makes the front of the lens magnetic. Quite handy.
Unfortunately you cannot use old type filters with RevoRing. RevoRing can be attached to a filter like it can be attached to a lens.
I can understand that investing in one magnetic filter system might be a problem. Not sure if these are compatible with Freewell system.
I think that it is time to think differently about filters. Screw-on filters has been a good solution, but I think magnetic is more convinient. One example is the possibility to use a lens hood with variable ND filter. The magnet makes it very easy and fast.

Hey Peter, that looks like a smart filter system. That said, I have avoided magnetic systems, in part because I am concerned that their magnets may, over time, effect the micro focusing motors in the lenses. Do you know of any issues with the use of magnetic accessories with the internal mechanics of a lens over time?

I have not heard about that. In theory it could be a problem. I have used magnetic very little so I have had no problems so far.

Will placing these magnets in your camera bag possibly effect your memory cards or camera.

Most likely not. It is not that strong, but strong enough to keep the filters in place.

A smart design. But very pricy for something most people will only use occasionally.

I agree that if filter usage is occasional it is quite expensive.

Does it work with the 7-14 pro? I looking for ND filters for that lens.

Unfortunately it does not. You need a special filter holder for 7-14mm lens. This one for example: amzn.to/3FqHnP0 (Affiliate link to Amazon)

Hello Lordvader, It does! We developed a special magnetic screw-in adapter for Olympus 7-14mm f/2.8. You may directly attach our magnetic filter holder onto this adapter and use magnetic square filters seamlessly!
You may check out the system again with Peter's affiliated link: revoring-swift.kckb.st/b32b86bf
Just FYI we have been caring about MFT users and we had the special holder (K-series system)for Olympus 7-14mm f/2.8 since a few years ago.

I need to check this again and see how the holder works.
