    I of course figured this out after sewing each square together and now have to redo all of them. Please proofread patterns in the future. I expected more from what seems like a business

    I just drawn a line with a regular pencil instead of ironing, because I’d be worried about distorting the fabric. I’ll give it a try anyway..thanks for the tips..love the laser! I have to use a piece of painters tape, the laser would be so much easier!

    The hardest thing to do on camera is to relax. If you can slow down a bit as you talk and just enjoy your self. I really enjoy the quilts you guys have been offering.. I mean this in the nicest way possible...

    I am wondering if it would be prudent to check that the points on the bottom are actually in the right place after tacking the junctions before sewing the final seam. While I can see where I am at on the points on top, sometimes I am blindly trusting the bottom blocks are in place. This would be an good way to have perfect points. Thanks

    Did you use the entire precut package or did you only use a specific amount?

      He said “you will do this to your entire layer cake” so I assume he used every 10” square. Hope that helps a little. Happy quilting!

    Your 1.4" seams look really "scant" (like mine tend to turn out). I've watched as lot of quilting videos on TH-cam, but have never seen this tacking and push-and-pull technique. Cool! I can definitely make use of it, as my HST's don't always end up the same size. (It's kind of a shame that the camera wasn't on the machine needle, so the "action" was happening just off-camera). Thanks for your videos, I have subscribed now after watching a few of your videos.

    What is the finished size using only the precuts?

    • @HRHDMKYT
      @HRHDMKYT 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you use the entire 42 squares from each pre-cut, you'll get 84 large HST's. making it 8 rows by 10 rows, you'll have 4 HST's left over, and a fairly large quilt (I'd estimate about 74" x 92", depending on your seam allowances).

    Your written pattern is wrong. It says to place the squares wrong sides together and then stitch along side the crease.
