Definitely gives off tragic sombe vibes where Malenia finally gives in to the Scarlet Rot, now attacking mindlessly against anyone and everyone who crosses her path much like Radahn after she nuked his ass in Caelid. Only this time around a revitalized Miquella is the one who is forced to put down his sister, being the last living being from her rampage and the only capable of actually stopping her, giving us a very sad 360 full closure to the story of the Twin Prodigies. Perhaps Miquella would face death once more upon putting Malenia down as it takes that much effort. Perhaps she is too much even for him and comes out victorious, proceeding to fully engulf the land in Rot and Chaos showing a similar Visage of the Frenzied Flame ending. A masterful piece of music. 1000/10 🔥🔥🔥
Phase 1 deeper tone and viewing the phase 1 artwork literally sounds like you fight something you truly just cannot win, and you are guaranteed to lose. Yikes man. Truly a dark feeling when listening to it.

I actually got her second try, so I didn't understand the memes until I started watching streamer reactions, lmao! And no, I didn't fucking use a mimic or RoB. It was the third day the game was out. I had my own quality lifesteal build (ironic) with dual Grossmessers.
@@YourEmperorStef Well those that are, are 'disabled' just because they have something missing or screwed. In the case of Malenia her scarlet rot and missing limbs made her weaker at first....but it actually became her strength. It makes us imagine how mighty these bosses would have been if we fought them at their prime, or without the weakness, but more importantly this teaches us a valueble quality. How our weaknesses can turn into a terrifying strength with enough will.
Wow this doesn't fit Malenia at all anymore. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful (I really like slowed down second phase in particular), but it feels like instead of the best swordswoman in the world, you're fighting something a bit Godskin-like. It's crazy how much speed can affect the impression you get from a music.
