Just received my panel, used the glazing points in my wood frame and installed my a/c. Fits perfectly and looks great! Awesome product! I don’t have accessibility to the tools and engineering to make my own panel and this product is totally worth the price!
I placed my order today!, this is my second Midea Duo, the first one was in the back bedroom and I made my own Frankenstein version out of plexiglass with the factory cutout, but for the front dining room window I want it to look good and with those custom insect screens it’s worth the money. I live in southwest Florida and I don’t want lizards, snakes and Mud daubers inside of my A/C unit.
that'd be great if you created a video like this with a great title like "air conditioner for casement window". basically someone like me is trying to fit a portable air conditioner into this type of window, and I didn't even know it was called a casement window so I had to try and figure out what air conditioner to use and then once I found an air conditioner and the type of window I had to find the best option and yours looks like the best one.
I need to actually talk to you guys on the phone. My casement window seems unique. There is a curve at the top of my casement windows and I need 2. Please help 😮
Yes, we make those fairly regularly. You can order through this page: martinsonmanufacturing.com/products/portable-ac-sliding-window-vent-kit The second product image is a measuring video. It's the same principle for a sliding door.
They don't usually. If in a humid climate, you do have to drain the unit occasionally or you can attach a hose and let it drain automatically when place lower that the drain spout thats on the a.c.
you could also create a TH-cam channel just for this as a for instance or just a bunch of better titled videos. portable air conditioner window fittings etc. all the appropriate keywords

A really nice solution. I would get one of these if I'm located in the US

Wish we could get something like this in the UK!
Do you ship to Canada?

Thanks for the tips Brian. It’s helpful to hear what keywords other people use. I hope to produce more videos on this topic this year too.
I had two of these air conditioners not these exact models but they never get as cold as a window air conditioner!
Help. I have Miami style windows. Do you have any tips on how I could install it?
need a garage one next 😮😮😮
Would be nice if you did sliding window casements.
What about in winter

Don't these portable ac units leak water? How's that supposed to work?
They don't usually. If in a humid climate, you do have to drain the unit occasionally or you can attach a hose and let it drain automatically when place lower that the drain spout thats on the a.c.
Dang. I wanna buy one of those.

These are almost the same price or more expensive than the AC itself!!! Should cost less than $100 to make it viable.
