I enjoy all your videos. Don't knock yourself, subscribers will always come and go. I loved seeing your projects. Your knitted socks are fantastic! I have knitted a few pairs myself, and they are easier than you would think they are to knit. I haven't knit in a couple of years, but I've been getting the itch to knit recently. My yarn stash is calling to me haha. I LOVE your train cases! You found some really great vintage ones in fantastic shape, and what a great way to use them. I'm sure Steve's shoulder replacement will go well. I had one a few months ago and the pain relief was instantaneous! Best decision ever. I also have to have the opposite one done as soon as I recover from fracturing my hip. This aging business isn't for sissies! Be well and keep stitching and knitting.

I’m so sorry to hear about all the health troubles! I really hope they’re all done & over for you by the end of summer - whew! Our next door neighbour just got 2 Pom cross puppies and they are so adorable 🥰. My little Terri-Poo is crazy about them, he keeps going to the fence hoping there will be an opening for him to get through & play with them. It’s hilarious to see his tail wag at the knot-hole in the fence when he sees them in the yard 😅. I’ve always liked Poms, my father’s secretary had one and she let me walk him all the time 💖 Take care of yourselves & I hope you’re both feeling better & stronger soon.
I missed you so much and am so glad you were back to show us so much!! I wish Steve the best with his shoulder replacement. Your dogs are so beautiful. I got hooked on knitting socks a few years back and was delighted to see how easy they are. In fact one year, I made 10 pairs of socks for Christmas presents!

Hey Deana, Those tins were used to hold a German cookie called Lebkuchen. They are reminiscent of gingerbread but not exactly. When you opened the tin there would be lots of smaller packages with about six of the cookies in each pack. It used to be at the commissaries around Christmas time, you could find stacks of those boxes. This has faded away over the years. I have several of those tins.

I'm new here, and have enjoyed watching! I have the same problem that you have with a shaking/trembling hand. I have absolutely NO problem stitching...Thank God!....but if I pick up a pen to write, my hand has a mind of it's own, and makes writing almost impossible! Growing old isn't easy!! 😢

Prayers for Steve. I have had 2 rotator cuff tears and the 2nd one was so bad, it didn’t work so I ended up having Reverse Shoulder replacement on December 5th of 2022. I couldn’t lift my arm higher than my waist so now I’m able to lift my arm over my head. Now I’ve just had another MRI on my other shoulder and I find out tomorrow if I’ve done something to it after I fell a couple of months ago. Glad you are back. Missed you. I live in TN, on Signal Mountain, next to Chattanooga.
Thank you Toni, his is going to be the reverse shoulder replacement also. He's been in alot of pain so I sure hope it will fix the problem. I hope you other shoulder will be fine and not have to be replaced. It sounds like you live in a beautiful part of the country!❤️
I have torn my left rotator cuff so eventually will have to have it fixed. I’m going to try some PT first but not sure what to expect. My reverse shoulder replacement did great!!!❤️

Our littlest puppy Luna is a black and white Mini Pomeranian and she just came up to me needing love! I also love your old train cases! I still have my parents deep golden brown one like yours and another larger suitcase. They were so beautifully made and the large one is lined in silk I think. I just love antiques too. Thanks so much Kelly! Steve had his shoulder replacement this past Friday and is doing great! I have to do everything right now which is fine except steve is the cook. I never really liked to cook but did it until I retired. I told him I cooked the 1st 40 yrs now he can cook the next 40. 😊 Hannah is doing great also. We have 2 grown girls but our poms are our babies! It was great to hear from you!❤️
I had my right shoulder replaced last November and did great. I will be 88 years old in a couple weeks so hope your husband does zs good as i did. Just bs sure he does his physicl therzpy afterwards, Good luck to him.

How close you were to me when you were in TN…I live in Tullahoma…just a stones throw from Lynchburg and the distillery! We could have stitched together while he toured. I have lived here for over 50 years and have never toured the distillery. 😁. Glad you had pleasant temps while you were here…VERY hot here now…truck sitting for 1-1/2 hours would be out of the question! Where did you camp? I'm guessing that you were even closer to me when you were camping! Glad you are back…missed you!
Well it would have been fun to stitch together! He wanted to tour another distillery but ran out of time. We stayed in manchester at the old stone fort campground. We weren't there much. It rained most of the time we were there so we ran around most of the time. We were in tullahoma a few times that week also.

We were about 15 min. From the convention center. Hoping to get in again next year and we will do the same. Maybe we will meet up❤️

Yay! You're back! I'm sorry to hear of the recent hard times but it seems that things are on a bit of an upswing now. It was fun seeing how far you had gotten on some of the pieces you showed today. I was especially interested in how far you had gotten on The Color of Winter. I saw you stitching that awhile back and inspired me to start it as well. I'm not nearly as far as you are so it was fun to see yours!

Our next door neighbour just got 2 Pom cross puppies and they are so adorable 🥰. My little Terri-Poo is crazy about them, he keeps going to the fence hoping there will be an opening for him to get through & play with them. It’s hilarious to see his tail wag at the knot-hole in the fence when he sees them in the yard 😅. I’ve always liked Poms, my father’s secretary had one and she let me walk him all the time 💖

I missed you so much and am so glad you were back to show us so much!! I wish Steve the best with his shoulder replacement. Your dogs are so beautiful. I got hooked on knitting socks a few years back and was delighted to see how easy they are. In fact one year, I made 10 pairs of socks for Christmas presents!

Hey Deana, Those tins were used to hold a German cookie called Lebkuchen. They are reminiscent of gingerbread but not exactly. When you opened the tin there would be lots of smaller packages with about six of the cookies in each pack. It used to be at the commissaries around Christmas time, you could find stacks of those boxes. This has faded away over the years. I have several of those tins.
That's interesting to know. I'll have to keep a look out for more. ❤️

I'm new here, and have enjoyed watching! I have the same problem that you have with a shaking/trembling hand. I have absolutely NO problem stitching...Thank God!....but if I pick up a pen to write, my hand has a mind of it's own, and makes writing almost impossible! Growing old isn't easy!! 😢

Prayers for Steve. I have had 2 rotator cuff tears and the 2nd one was so bad, it didn’t work so I ended up having Reverse Shoulder replacement on December 5th of 2022. I couldn’t lift my arm higher than my waist so now I’m able to lift my arm over my head. Now I’ve just had another MRI on my other shoulder and I find out tomorrow if I’ve done something to it after I fell a couple of months ago. Glad you are back. Missed you. I live in TN, on Signal Mountain, next to Chattanooga.

I have torn my left rotator cuff so eventually will have to have it fixed. I’m going to try some PT first but not sure what to expect. My reverse shoulder replacement did great!!!❤️

Our littlest puppy Luna is a black and white Mini Pomeranian and she just came up to me needing love! I also love your old train cases! I still have my parents deep golden brown one like yours and another larger suitcase. They were so beautifully made and the large one is lined in silk I think. I just love antiques too. Again it is so good to hear from you and take care of yourself too! ❤
Thanks so much Kelly! Steve had his shoulder replacement this past Friday and is doing great! I have to do everything right now which is fine except steve is the cook. I never really liked to cook but did it until I retired. I told him I cooked the 1st 40 yrs now he can cook the next 40. 😊 Hannah is doing great also. We have 2 grown girls but our poms are our babies! It was great to hear from you!❤️

I had my right shoulder replaced last November and did great. I will be 88 years old in a couple weeks so hope your husband does zs good as i did. Just bs sure he does his physicl therzpy afterwards, Good luck to him.

How close you were to me when you were in TN…I live in Tullahoma…just a stones throw from Lynchburg and the distillery! We could have stitched together while he toured. I have lived here for over 50 years and have never toured the distillery. 😁. Glad you had pleasant temps while you were here…VERY hot here now…truck sitting for 1-1/2 hours would be out of the question! Where did you camp? I'm guessing that you were even closer to me when you were camping! Glad you are back…missed you!
Well it would have been fun to stitch together! He wanted to tour another distillery but ran out of time. We stayed in manchester at the old stone fort campground. We weren't there much. It rained most of the time we were there so we ran around most of the time. We were in tullahoma a few times that week also.

I just bought the pattern for Halloween Hijinx but haven't even picked a fabric yet but think I will need a scroll rod which I've never used. Do you have a preference for scroll rods. I watched a video on E-Z stitch rods but just not sure.

Thank you Barbara, Steve's surgery was this morning and he is doing great so far. He's spending the night in the hospital but hopes to come home tomorrow. We enjoyed having our camper at stitch con. We were about 15 min. From the convention center. Hoping to get in again next year and we will do the same. Maybe we will meet up❤️
