Thank you for generously sharing your expertise with your viewers! Would you consider doing a video for mature 60+ women, light/medium skin and salt & pepper hair?
Ali Andreea, for me, is one of the few who takes her time to explain everything and things as they really are... Thank you because apart from being professional, you are a beautiful and kind woman... Blessings 🙏❤️👌
As a 60 years old woman without big pores (thanks to glycolic and niacinamide used for like 8 years, not needed anymore) I made a testing on the Huda Beauty against Givenchy Voile Rosè by using each of them one month in a row. After those 2 months I can tell you I decluttered the Huda Beauty powder (my daughter was happy). Why? Because Givenchy is more fine, is more hydrating and keeps the T-zone more natural for at least 10 hours and...if you have the compact on the Givenchy Voile Rosè you can retouch and everything will be perfect. Huda left my skin looking muddy, the powder was separated from the foundation because of the natural skin oils (I'm combination skin but not really oily) so you could see the makeup becoming "heavy", and I use a powder puff and not baking at all (plus never ever powder my undereyes). On the other hand, got compliments on my makeup after 12 hours wear when using Givenchy and my skin was never heavy, muddy, if touching it I didn't feel the powder (but I did with Huda). So after those 2 months I had clear that, Huda is a flash of brightnes but doesn't last and is not meant for mature skin. But Givenchy brights when Huda ends and makes your makeup last longer, more natural and kept you receiving compliments so...for me the results spoke by themselves. Maybe in younger women from 20 to 45 Huda is the one...not at 60 yo.
Andrea, can we please have a video for mature skin; menopausal perspiration on the face and how to avoid foundation lift and patchy red patches from appearing and breaking down the base? It ruins a face completely, we could also adopt the technique for summer days 😊. Thanks for being you ❤
Thank you for explaining the details. I’m 49 now and stopped using powder because it makes pores / wrinkles look worse. Maybe I’m doing it wrong. I just use tinted moisturiser and primer.
Hi Andreea. New to your channel and love it! Could you talk about Rosacea and tiny red spider vines around the nostril area and how to treat and hide that? Thanks from this 58 year old gal!
I absolutely love how you recommend different techniques and explain how to make the most of a product based on one's specific needs and preferences. That's what makes a true MUA 🙌
Thank you Andreea! This is so helpful and genereous of you. How about a video about color ccrrection and how to apply color correctors correctly also on other places than under the eyes. For example around the mouth? I always look gray around my mouth never mind the concealer I use.
Niacinamide is vitamin B3 and not B2. For making the pores appear smaller and to dissolve oil you need BHA not AHA. AHA however might be strengthening the collagen production and help making skin less elastic over time
I always learn so much. Please do an episode on how to cover cystic acne and or ingrown hairs that many of us do get. They are so hard to conceal and I end up using a bunch of product and in the end my face and chin are off color and thick with product and yet the cyst is still evident and glaring its red awful face at me.
Thank You for explaining how to use the Sheiseido primer, I bought it because of your recommendation but it did not spread very far and I could not figure out why you loved it to much, now I will pat it on!
Andrea … I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH you saved my day when you posted this video.. I watched followed step by step and got perfect results with my makeup for a special occasion… i had an extremely oily face for awhile now my main problem was that foundation never lasted on me no matter what primer, foundation, powder and setting spray i used … when I applied my foundation it was looking good for 30-35 mins tops before it broke apart on the bridge of my nose , around my nostrils, between my eyebrows, on my chin & on my cheeks right under my eyes I thought of booking a professional to do my makeup for our special occasion although I have gotten better at doing my makeup that i shouldn’t honestly need to get professional help… however right after you posted this i got to Sephora and got the inkeylist niacinamide serums you held up in the video & their siasilyc acid wash used them morning and night i saw the difference in sebum secretion immediately after the first use .. fast forward 3 days i had perfect literally perfect complexion for our day i didn’t need to book a makeup professional I’m not sure you would read this but if so please know you are helping sooo many people like me and you are loved & appreciated ❤ Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤
This is SO helpful thank you! And thanks for using products from your box. I have been using the mask and primer and loving them. I will go back to the ABH palette again 😅
I bought Laura Mercier’s translucent powder and when I apply it to under the eye area, it looks so tired and dry. I’m 38 and despite of good skin care and laser treatments that area is my pain point
@@Kata_the_cat_lady Are you using the one for the eyes or the face? I swear by the LM loose translucent under eye brightening powder and I'm ten years older than you, with dry under eyes. It's much finer than her face powder.
@@AllyKit wow I didn’t realise there is an eye powder by LM! Now this is such a cool tip, thank you! I was using a face powder instead. The one you are using might be a game changer for me ♥️
Andrea, what about Shiseido’s new foundation - Revitalessence Skin Glow? Is it good at smooting the large pores? Or would you advise something else from Shiseido? Thank you 🌸❤️
Thank you so much for this information! The timing couldn't be more perfect for me. I'm off to buy the products that I don't already have to "work this magic". I would love to watch a youtube on how you did your eye makeup as well.
Ali....this timing of these tips couldn't be better!!! I'm 2 weeks shy of 60 and my skin is going thru it right now and the pores on my cheeks are terribly visible right now. I have a version of most of the products you listed and today is the day I take back my routine. Thank you so much!!!!!! I've recently realized we are shade twins and I've been going back to watch your yearly favorites. Also, love your travel IG videos. Take care.
I have combination skin - I have to be aware of larger pores as well as dry patches, fine lines and wrinkles. As we age, seniors have more challenges to maintain healthy skin. I do enjoy using masks. I’ll use one mask on my T-zone and another on my dry areas.
Thank you for the great tips. Would you suggest the Givenchy for a 56 year old skin with large pores or the Huda? The collagen has left the building and I don’t think I can reduce the size much anymore. 😂 oh and the expression lines too.
Pores are biggest problem with makeup. Today i was at the gym. Did steam sauna, my pores opened. Then put on chantecaille bio lifting serum and their mask. Then she seido primer. My makeup looked great finally:)
@tallisinwonderland4724 i dont know if it depends on the skin. My skin is more on the dry side all over my face equally. It worked well with me, but i also try not too put too much on. I agree. Hi Andrea, may I give you a video ideia? I would like a video for an updated office day makeup, and including eye shadow. Why? Because I have so many eye shadow pallets, including one I bought influenced by you, the makeup by Mario one, and I have a hard time to wear them, I usually wear foundation, setting powder, eye pencil, mascara, blush and that’s it! I don’t contour or conceal, as I think my under eyes tend to get gray, no matter how many videos I’ve watched on how to correct that, my under eyes tend to look gray… (my setting powder, and foundations, bought them all influenced by you as well) 😂 💸💸💸 would LOVE a video on this… a good title could be: how to incorporate eye shadows on your office day makeup. (?) or how to incorporate eye shadow on your daily makeup? Something like that! THANK YOU!
Your tips are great...for example, I notice that my pores appear smaller when I press my skin care into the skin and don't smear it. It also works well when I apply the foundation the way you show... the way I should use the powder also works great!!!! Do you also have tips for skin that has rosacea???...On my right cheek I have a spot on the cheekbone that is often red. The area is then also flaky and the foundation looks like many small dry spots in many places....
I've bought Shiseido primer, and it's amazing. I have hormones problem, and my skin have all the skin-problen-in-the-world:) from very dry -- to very oil with comedones. And everything's on my face! And this product helps me to make my face to be more normal)))))
And also I use Lancome Teint Miracle foundation, because I need everything non-comedogenic. If there is no of this "non-comedigenic" - I will have all teenagers' marks on my face in 1 day😅
Dear Andrea, what do you think about azelaic acid ? For me it works, using few drops, against little spots as they're appearing or to make skin more clean even if I don't have properly oily skin. Thanks for all your suggestions.
Hi Andreea! Would the Eve Lom Rescue peel pads work rather than the Eve Lom Mask? Interestingly, the mask has aluminum chlorohydrate (...possible eye, skin, and respiratory tract irritation), but the peel pads don't. I am open to other suggestions for a healthier mask choice without moderate to high-risk ingredients if you can share? Also, just for reference, the Givenchy loose powder is a lower-risk product, whereas the Huda loose powder is moderate to high risk. Thank you for your insight on this. Cheer, and best wishes to you!
Hello Andreea, I purchased "THE INKEY LIST SUPER SOLUTIONS 20% NIACINAMIDE SERUM" as you suggested and also bought the retinol serum. In what order should I apply them?
Great video. I am older so I have larger pores and lines and wrinkles so I really find this type of video very helpful. I will try the clay mask. I am not sure if I need the other. I use the Dior Capture Totale skin care and their Forever foundation and concealer. I usually use the Dreamskin Skin Prefector after skincare but before makeup as a primer. I would love to hear you thoughts on these products because I really respect you opinions. I am never sure if I am using the right things or not. Thank you
How to be with textured skin, especially on cheeks, cheekbones with a large post acne scars? Whenever I do makeup, on that side of face none of sculpt, bronzer, and blush doesn’t work( and look messy(
Great video! I'm curious about the best sunscreens for use under makeup to maintain this effect. I have a few I like but I would love suggestions for good ones I may not have considered yet. My skin tends to be on the dry side so a lot of the sunscreens I choose are a little bit on the dewier side. This is great for winter but as we move into warmer months I love suggestions for good summer sunscreens that don't emphasize pores.
Hey Andrea..love each nd every video of urs❤️❤️love ur tips🥰just one q u were telling about highliting products not to use where u hv pores ..but if primers like chanel nd dior are like glow veils or radiance primers so how will we apply them ? Please throw some light on this too❤❤
Andreea, thank you for all your great videos! I have large pores around my nose , cheeks and in between eyebrows. I am 49 and dry skin. Are any of these tips and products applicable to dry mature skin? I read that the clay masks are not good for dry skin, been wanting to buy the Eve and Loom, but worried it might make me dryer. I'd appreciate any feedback! Thank you.
hi Andrea. I imagine the Armani Luminous Silk foundation wouldn't be great to minimize the appearance of pores. Would you agree? Would Armani Power Fabric work better? Thank you!

Thank you!
