After a while I quit watching makeup influencers because I felt they were toxic, but never felt this way about Andreea. I feel great watching her videos, her makeup tips… I love her sensibility and sweetness. Thank you Andreea.

30 is still very very young - but I do agree with you, that skin starts changing around that age. Just wait til 40 (still young) - when I thought my skin was definitely starting to show signs. Now at 55 I embrace it all. The skincare changes, it gets more intense - but it is all so enjoyable. If we all just remind ourselves what a privilege aging truly is. Not only 'accept' but truly 'embrace' it. Our skin is a reflection of a life lived well. And yes age is just a number, and even in my 50's I feel just like I did in my thirties.
Hope you make this a series and do 40's, 50's and above. Blessings

I'm turning 37 in two weeks, and sometimes watching stuff on social media makes me feel so ancient haha. I keep myself healthy, take care of my looks, and i think i look good too! But there's definite changes i see, like a few streaks of grey in my hair, more prone to pigmentation, and while i am in decent shape, i have love handles! With the current obsession with eternal youth it's sometimes a struggle. But then i just keep reminding myself of how much better my life really is, compared to 10 or even 15 years ago...and how much i've grown as a person. And in my 30s i realize how confident i finally am in my own skin! I no longer obsess over a breakout or a grey hair. I love makeup but ironically i feel much more comfortable going out bare faced than i would have 10 years ago! And yes most important - aging is a privilege that not everyone has ❤

I am turning 38 on January 9, and I 10000% agree on what you mentioned in the video, noticeable changes started to show at my 36..... I completely changed my skin care and make up, I like glowy, noirising products, I almost stopped using powder, but now Im in love with Dior backstage powder, its amazing. Also, the major sings of aging came to me after I lost my father then mother, thats what you cant change...the look in your eyes, big stress changes you completely, love to everyone:*

Getting older is a blessing. Each person should approach getting older as they see fit. If cosmetic procedures are your thing, go for it. If doing all natural, go for it. We should all respect people’s choices

    • @sweetxjc
      @sweetxjc 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Cosmetic procedures tries the reject aging though and reinforces that getting older isn’t a blessing but something you must spend a bunch of money on trying to reverse. It reinforces negative stereotypes.

I'm in early 30's and I've seen huge difference in my skin. I've been use retinol for 5 years so far and last year i've changed my skincare routine completely. The past years i used products for texture problems(pores) but now for more moist. And I have to say it, I trusted you and I bought that HD makeup forever concealer and it's so good. It's similar to the dior backstage, my last year's fave.People trust Andrea, she knows!!!😊

Beautiful make-up! Just my style and shades. I’m 37 and started to wear blush 2 years ago, on bare skin I don’t like foundation nor skin tints.
Blush is the best thing ever, my fave is Dior 001 Pink. Also for the lips I go with Dior Lip Glow Balm 001 Pink. I add mascara and Im good to go.
My face looks fresh and the subtle pink shade is giving a younger look. Love it🥰!

Totally agree on microblading. I had it done some 8 years ago, nothing aggressive, looked nice for almost three years. But some little reddish marks have remained here and there in the brow area, and I suspect they would never go away. Did a fair number of consultations with dermatologists, eyebrow and make up experts, just to conclude the previously said.

Hi Andreea yet another lovely video….I have to have those lovely Chanel shadows!!!! Andreea you touched on eyebrows! This area for 30’s 40’s 50’s etc..is such an important topic and so many women are making huge mistakes. Yes, and fortunately there are so many options for correction out there….but what truly is the right one? If you have darker brows you at least have something to work with, but if like me you have patchy lighter brows this is when you don’t have too much room for error. I am so afraid to have a semi or permanent solution done and not be happy. But as time goes by my eyebrows take the longest part of my daily prep. If too rushed I can give myself an angry look, too dark, too aging, not enough colour, washed out looking! I don’ want my eyebrows to be so hit and miss. I just want them to look like a part of me, and if anything make me look better. Love your passion ❤️

Thank you for making this video! I've definitely noticed a change in my own skin and it's refreshing to see you acknowledge this in such a gentle, yet realistic way.
I was wondering if you could recommend skin care products that are specifically tailored for sensitive skin. I developed mild rosacea on my cheeks in my late twenties/early thirties and it's been a real pain trying to find equivalent products that 'prime' the skin before putting on makeup.

    Hello Andrea,
thank you a lot for this video and all the others that you upload. For a long time I tried to find stuff on youtube to learn about makeup but I often felt like I didn't really get the content or was uncomfortable with the way it was presented (too quick, not friendly for beginners, mostly to advertise products etc.).
That's why I am so happy I fell on your videos; being almost a beginner in makeup and generally bad with skin care and having recently realized that my skin is changing (I'm 29, don't apply much make up), I feel that I learn a lot from your videos because you take your time and explain everything so well. Not only that, but the way you present your Art and know- how, especially for a beginner like me is comforting because your way of presenting the content is humble and friendly. All of this makes me see in you a female guide, a friend so to speak, around whom I learn about skin care and more generally femininity/feminin beauty.
I have a question that might seem dull: Does these make up products apply to all skin type? (I have a skin that is a combination of oily and dry according to another video of yours).
Your make up here was so good and suited you very beautifully!
Wish you a happy new year and thank you in advance and I send you my greetings from Germany,
    Georgette

I’m 48 watching this video cause I’m told that I look 36, but that’s because of my genes and and an early start of skin care. Thanks Andreea, I’m going to try that powder, a huge difference after you used it.

I thought I didn’t had the right make up! Have the Bobbi brown blush pale pink (so gorgeous) but with your technique it’s soooo sooo sooo good! You made my day! Thank you so much. Love your content. ❤

great video! thank you, Andreea! I would appreciate more information around SPF and foundation. this is the part where most of us are struggling. our skin is changing and skipping SPF is not an option but making it work in the make up routine is a pain.

A beautiful flattering makeup that doesn’t take hours to achieve. Often in our 30s we’re also juggling work and young kids so time poor. However, no matter how I try, I cannot get on board with the lip over lining thing. To me no matter how gorgeous lips are, when overlined I just feel it lowers the sophistication like my 4 year old has had a go at ‘helping’ me! Just my personal preference of course but I prefer my lip liner to be there only to stop my lipstick from migrating and not be much darker so I look like I’ve had a drink and it’s left a tide mark!

Thank you Andrea!! I have a question ???????????????? (I'm your age and I'm using all the products you recommend and they are perfection on me 😍🥰) But, now I'm looking for foundation and setting powder for my mom who's 65. Which brand do you recommend for her???????????????

The glossier stretch concealer is the only one my 37 yr old under eyes look good with. Then I set it with the pat mcgrath sublime powder (your recommendation from a while back, thank you!). You're gorgeous ❤

Thank you for saying the things you are saying in the beginning 🥰 I actually cried for some reason 🙈 I really relate and I know now I’m not crazy 😂 I got sick in the end of 2020 and just now I’m I well enough to do my makeup and go out in public 🥳 but everything have changed. Because I am sick I have aged so much. I will turn 33 this summer but my skin feels a lot older. My colors have changed. The eyeshadows that I use to love looks different now and my makeup just doesn’t look the same. I did grief for a while but I have decided to move on and learn some new skin and get to know my new self. Even though I still get sad sometimes.

it’s like you’re reading my mind 😁 was just thinking about it yesterday - i’m 37 and have always been a makeup enthusiast but I can’t seem to get it right in the last months, makeup just doesn’t work the same anymore. Thank you for the tips, your advice always does the trick ❤

For me that moment when I had to change my makeup was just a couple of years ago when I was in my mid 40s. I am wearing a lot less coverage on my face these days but I still feel put together with the foundation, blush etc, just that I like my skin to show through and I like more of a luminous glow. I recommend Lancome teinte idole ultra wear and it goes a long way so I only use 1 pump on my face. Sunscreen is a staple these days, unlike when I was bad at that in my 20s.

You are talking about how I feel right now. Gonna be 35 in some months, and some weeks ago I started to feel and see the signs of aging and it scares me. I made some changes in my skincare, I use new make up filled with serums, but still using my old routine, cuz I think I figured out what looks good on me, but I updated it. For me it is hard to embrace the change in my look, but I am also grateful that I am aging, that I can see my son growing up, and to grew older with my husband, and I feel myself and I love my mindset and I know what I want. It is definitely a journey, a process.
Thank you for this video, the make up is wonderful, I am gonna try it out :)
