Must take some real skill to perform experiments that include fire, glass and exploding, without any protective equipment. Still, thank you so much for this experiment implementation. You helped me and many others in chemistry class.
I've raid in my book that there should be 8g of sulphur and 14g of powedered Iron and then heat it. Slowly the compound will start to glow and give off heat
The first one is a mixture. It contains two elements that aren’t chemically together while the second one is a compound. It has two elements that are chemically together and form iron sulphide.(CBSE 9th grade student).
The lack of gloves concerned me but I'm glad he turned out fine
those are his prosthetic hands.
because after heating it become a compound iron sulphide which do not retain their individual property
Did great! Really should review your safety protocol, though..
Heat
Fe + S ----------> FeS
Iron + Sulfur = Iron sulfide
all these smart ppl leaving comments... i was jus sent here from skl....
Same
Me tow
Same lol

Excellent idea... Its basics of alchemy processes. If u repeat the process with low temp metal sulfate the iorn completely loss the magnetize...
This is half of an earthquake. Do you not understand the implications?
thanks so does this show when metals are heated they lose magnetism
Nice video... what could be a ratio between iron and S
At which ratio FeS loses magnetic property...?
Awaiting for your valuable response....
Ratio should be 17:4. Any more added won’t be mixed.

Isn't sulphur (S) An anion and anion doesn't exist in free state? Fe + S how ions exist in solids ?
The video sound is pretty good, beyond my imagination
What can u do with this?
Is the iron sulfide after heat a metalic
So whats the answer?
Iron Sulfide
So this is alchemy?
Wait? Where's nina and Alexander??????
(Haha FMAB trauma)
very easy teacher i am ahmad
What is the type of reaction?
Addition reaction
Same answer is given in my book but I was unable to understand but with the help of this video I have understand the concept
I am in class 7
Good......
How to make Liver of sulfur ?
Please help me.
eh what why a liver
I am influnced by ur video... so much.... am i used for online classes...
Nice vedio first comment
Sir 8457991897 cl me plzz
This vid is great
iron (ii) sulphide
Nice
It is a nkce experiment ..... it helped me do my h.w as we can not go to lab and do it
Nice experimnet but no gloves
there's no audio
Nice video
Where my ACS gang at
hi 7x2?
Iron+sulphur = Iron sulfide
Sooooooo epic
cool beans
Nice vid
Fe + s = fes
Magnets lose magnetism at high heat
Hi
Fe+S-------->FeS
juice
Iron+Fe= reaction after get a magnetless iron metal
