I have connected Komplete Kontrol S61 mk2 to my Windows 10 64bit computer where I run Pro Tools Ultimate 2021.3.1. But in "Peripherials" ->MIDI Controllers -> Type slot there is no Komplete Kontrol to choose. So I choosed M-Audio Keyboard, but the buttons in my controller like play stop record metronom etc, does not work in this case. Of course I can record it on Pro Tools using software piano and other stuff. But I would like to turn on full possibilities. Please help me to solve it.
@Dizbel1 Have you installed the Komplete Kontrol software? It is my understanding that this software installs the required driver for the komplete kontrol keyboards (I have the M32).
I am trying to add nektar and minilab3 But m audio keyboard Is not showing up in the list of peripheral.. Please let me know Any other way to get it. Thanks
@AnikethanASharma Select HUI in peripherals... Minilab3 transport mode will also need to be changed to HUI (midi control center > device settings > global parameters).
@Spendo If the midi drum kit is connected to your computer correctly, pro tools should automatically detect it, just make sure you connect the drum kit to your computer (switched on etc) before you start pro tools, as pro tools usually only detects midi gear during app startup.
@mistyBlue7 Hi, normally you only need to set up your midi keyboard or controller as a peripheral if you want it to control the track and transport controls of Pro Tools... For track and transport controls, check your midi keyboard or controller manual. Avid has now removed M Audio, so hopefully your midi keyboard or controller supports HUI (unless it is a Komplete kontrol keyboard which have their own driver for Pro Tools).
My M-Audio Keystation 61 MK3 shows up in Pro Tools but I get no sound when playing keys after inserting my plug-in as I always do in my instrument track (used to use Komplete Kontrol Midi). I followed your peripherals protocol since the keyboard does have recording and play buttons. I get an error upon clicking ok: Access Violation occured, unable to write location 0x0000000000000. I watched an M-Audio tutorial for this exact model and they didn't mention peripherals. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
@corystajduhar Have you pressed the advanced button, then press the key labelled DAW and set transport control to HUI? (page 12 of the keystation manual). Intro only supports HUI. Access violations are normally caused by USB port problems... Make sure USB sleep mode is switched off (on windows pcs) and no other midi software app is open (access to the USB port will be denied if another app is already using the USB port). Also worth trying a different USB port.
Thank you, very easy to follow especially the white cursor on black background and the yellow arrow

You will have to update... The M-Audio will work with version 2023.12.1, but after that, M-Audio has been discontinued.. Komplete control was added...
M_Audio does not show up anymore , i am only seeing Command8, HUI, SurroundPanner and Komplete Kontrol
@MrTCass

What if you can’t find the device in Midi Inputs? Cannot find my e drum kit
