My Home town in Boston ,South Boston was an Irish Working class , little middle class and poor Town, after Hollywood starting making Movies there it changed so rapidly. In the late 90's I paid $83,000 for my 3 Story , 3 Family tenement. now it is valued at $1 Million and a single parking space costs $100,000 .

all comes down to voting; if you don't vote you don't count. And you can easily look up % of people who don't vote, block by block. if you cant get your act together to vote chances are you are not going to do much about anything, and here come the developers. you don't vote, you don't exist except as income, in taxes.
