Nice video mate, just upgraded my senton to a max 10 and next plan is some proline shocks and mx28’s, only bad thing is cutting the body, and tips on best place to cut to accommodate the 28 wheels ?
Thank u sir, my advice would be to only trim what is absolutely necessary to accommodate the 2.8 wheel size and for how much they balloon. I was using granite tires and they balloon a lot so I had to cut a good bit. You may not have to cut as much depending on how much the mx28's expand.
You would want to gear up to relieve some of the torque. Turning the punch setting down on the ESC would help. I have the punch set to 3 it goes to 5. The setup is a lot more tame with the punch at 1or 2. I'm going to leave the punch at 3 and gear up to a 19 or 20 tooth pinion and go from there.
What tires are those? With this combo, you can definitely afford to gear up. Gearing up or running a taller tire will “tame” that sensitive throttle trigger.
I want to run outcast v2 arms, turnbuckles, tie rods, axles and wheels and tires on my senton v3 3s blx. Larger shocks. Do u think this motor would support that.
This is exactly the setup i want to run. By any chance do you know the wattage of the motor? Can't find it anywhere. And how do you find service and warranty?
I looked through the manual for the motor and esc and couldn't find anything on watts for the motor. I believe the warranty and service info is on the website.
@@soulrebelrc6341 ahhh its all good, thank you so much for trying though! Im trying to find a motor upgrade for my Slash 4x4 (realised that your car wasn't a slash after i posted the comment lol) and i think its between this one and the leopard 4065
I like all three for different reasons. If I could only own one, I would pick the Maxx because it's 4s and has some beefier components making it little more durable but at a higher price point. The Maxx is a bit more forgiving if you make a mistake and crash.
Is it normal for the connectors that connect the esc to the engine to get too hot? My connectors are heating up a lot, I use hobbywing engine 2500kv and esc hobbywing sc8 120A.
i have the same setup and mine is considerably slower i just replaced front and rear diffs and used a pretty good amount of lithium grease in the front i cant figure out why yours turns on compared to mine
The truck is fairly durable out of the box for the use your describing without any upgrades. You may want to consider a steel spur gear and a good set of bearings to start out. I would run the truck a bit and see how it goes before you spend money for upgrades you don't really need. It depends on how hard your going to be on the truck.
@@soulrebelrc6341 I was thinking about buying the granite tires because I think they look good on Santon. What steel spur equipment and a good set of bearings do you tell me to buy? I do not understand much and would like you to specify the names of the equipment. Thank you for answering my questions.
@@fillype91 If this is your first RC and your new to the hobby I wouldn't buy any upgrades just yet. You may want to get a feel for the truck and how it operates mechanically. The trucks are very durable without any upgrades if your only mildly bashing.
@@fillype91 I have 2 playlist on my channel featuring the arrma senton and vorteks with steel spur , shock , chassis brace and a bunch more upgrades if and when you feel comfortable going to the next stage.
I would upgrade to a metal input gear , metal main diff gear and metal driveshafts before running 4s. The 4s will shred the plastic gears. I only switched out the rear gears.
Not saying my experience is the same as your's but I just put my 2.8s on and got the same characteristics just saying and yeah it was stock electronics
She's rowdy! Nice man
Thank u sir, definitely exceeded my expectations.
Love my 3s senton…. No problems yet except for cracked bumper support from bashing and having fun. Other than that very awesome and very durable
Looks to be super powerful. 😁😁
Definitely over powered now, very happy with the set up.
thank you for your video! i have a senton 3S and i thought to yograde in 4S!
Super sweet bro

Is there a combo as in diff fluid change to help keep on all 4? Or just gearing down

Have you ever considered pine box car weights?
How are your Temps with that setup running 4s with the 17t pinion
Hows it lasted up to now? On road I can see the diffs being ok, but bashing, maybe not lol
What's up brother, I was wondering what diff fluid you using front and rear also what shock oil? Thank you.
I'm using 50k in the front diff, 30k in the rear and 50wt shock oil front and rear.

Belted 2.8 badlands they are 5.02 overall diameter.
Will this work with my brushed senton 4x4

How good is your battery?
I'm going to use my Senton for short jumps and lots of speed. What upgrades should I make for better durability?
