Maybe you should also have a long "stay" in a psychiatric hospital. Putin wants to force the former member of the Union os Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) back into the unioon againts their will. The regained their freedom in 1985, and have tasted freedom. and don't want to go back to Russia communism. Ukraine was attacked first because it was not part of NATO. I’m Australian and I see clearly what’s happening by the insane behaviour of most of the global south. My government is idiotic and childish especially in the hands of the US! We have been enjoying a great trading period with China for many years but now, after China lifted sanctions we instead towed the US line. Now we’re the giant frigate that the US uses to launch missiles into Yemen etc!. So much to say here! Great show, Dimitri.

Ridiculous! The closest RAAF airbase to Yemen the US can use in Australia is Exmouth and itis 8671km from Houthis' capital city of Sanaa!!! Al-Udeid in Qatar is 1313km and Diego-Garcia is 4000km, and both are set to receive USAF's bombers while Exmouth isn't. Launching missiles from Australia would mean ICBMs.
BTW, considering the Aussie military budget, you should be as heavily armed as Israel or Taiwan, it's far from it!
Let me tell you that the level of corruption in arms procurement is on par with Russia!

First experience with your channel and surprised YT allows it to stay up.
I have been to Donbas many times and Crimea, and cities such as Kiev and Odessa and live in St Petersburg Russia, an American who moved here 24 years ago. What Dan represented was spot on. After the coup that was run out of the US Embassy the Nazi extremist who had been limited to a single small city in north eastern Ukraine on the Polish boarder were suddenly key figures on the street and in Kiev government functions. The take over was rapidly spread to the capital, one US aligned Oligarch connected to the US Embassy was the primary funding for the raid growth of Nazi influence with roving bands of 4-8 well armed Nazi bands roaming the streets beating anyone even school children if they spoke their native Russia. Kiev was a very scary place after the coup. Books in Russian were burned out of the libraries, parents were beaten and sometimes murdered in front of their children if they were suspected of speaking Russian which was the primary language for all media, education publication immediately the national library was stripped of Russian language books, radio and tv stations had to switch to Ukrainian that wa not the majority language. Ukrainian was not a native language for anyone, it was a dialect of Russian with some Romanian and Polish words and slang added It had a fraction of the words of the primary language of Russian.
My GF at the time was Russian who had spent a lot of time in Ukraine as a child because summer camps in Crimea and the Black sea coast were common destinations for Russian children. she had relatives in Donbas so we always visited them and we were treated like stars or celebrities as we usually brought gifts for the relatives and their neighbors. That was before and a little after the 2014 U coup and soon those regions in the east that were historically Russia were under attack even before the actual war started. The people were praying that Russia would come protect them many civilians did come from Russia to help defend their relatives being attacked in Donbas. Russia stayed out of it much to the anger of the people whose' relatives were being attacked and murdered. A close friend who's son was a doctor in St Petersburg, a grad of the prestigious Russian Military Medical Academy in St Petersburg that was and still is the top medical school, put his private practice on hold while he went to Donbas to help defend his cousins in eastern Ukraine. Only a few doctors were there so he carried am automatic weapon while treating victims of the daily attacks. He stayed 18 months and it only got worse as the US great the army and thousands of Nazi militias joined in.
Those people in Eastern Ukraine were under attack by US equipped Nazis and then regular Ukraine army and still later additional mercenaries all paid by the US from all over Europe, US, and UK. Russia did make some weapons available but stayed out of the conflict until the US organized mass attack of 85,000 US equipped trained and paid soldiers and 15,000 Nazi militias staged a mass assault that started at 3am. Russia tried to have an emergency UN security Council meeting but the US and UK vetoed the plan so Russia broadcast that the attack had to stop of Russia would stop it. At noon later that date Russia launched 54 missiles that blew up 54 US weapons depots in Feb ...and according to the US stated the war, in is 8th year Feb 2022.
Absolutely nothing the US claimed or UK claim or Europe claim was true. That was enough to finally show to the majority of Russians who were positively disposed towards the US. The SMO started that day and was very small with the Lugansk Peoples Republic and Donetsk Peoples Republic doing the fighting while Russia used artillery from the east. Those targeted regions declared independence. A lot of people in Russia were angry that Putin did not go in and stop it years before . Every word of western press and government claims have been lies but so have all prior US wars and invasions were. Russian troops did not cross over into Ukraine for over a year and still have no moved eastward much. The people in Russia did not want war but western propaganda influences a lot of young people to blame Putin for starting the war but most of them left the country once sanctioned was put on Russia and those who remained became much more loyal to Russia. Currently very few people in Russia blame Russia for the war so the country has never been more united and are very supportive of BRICS and forgetting about the west. Many of those who left regretted their choices but their friends and relatives do not want them back because the country has never been so united and working so well. Quality of life, the economy, unity etc has never been better, we are all on the same page and want nothing do due with the US controlled west.
The economy is booming and the close ties with China has allowed the economy to remain very good. Wages have increased about 18-20% in a year and cost of living increased 5% Everyone gets along, crime is almost zero, industry and investment in infrastructure is high. There is a general feeling that the new world order that is developing now with Russia a key member of BRICS and dozens of countries begging to enter, Russia's stature, by standing up to the west has never been higher. When the other countries join BRICS it will be the largest trade pack in history and the old empires of Europe and then US are in for a very hard ride down. The US is broke and the BRICS ++ countries need nothing from the west so the majority of world population is abandoning the west and forming trade pacts only with friendly trust worthly country and will include almost all of Africa South America most of Asia and a couple of European countries such as Hungary will be on-board and no trade with Europe or North America. botjh of which only got strong by exploiting weaker countries with resources. Without those almost free resources Europe and US will never be able to cover their own debt.
Every day I get messages from Americans, Canadians and some Europeans asking how to move their family to Russia. With the new policy of easier entry for families with traditional values who are from Woke countries has really attracted a lot of people who are not happy in the western hostile countries. The bottom 80% of Americans are deeply in debt and live on credit they can never pay off ad feel helpless, so the new fresh start option in Russia with lowered migration hurdles is seen as their only chance for a normal life and have a positive net worth. family values and secuity in their community. Almost all Russians have a positive net worth, very little debt better health care and want out of the endless wars by the USD.
As someone who moved here the same day Putin was first sworn in as president and seeing his actions daily, and seeing the country and average people have an ever improving life and no or very little debt, no fear of crime plus having a leader who does not lie to the People is a very valued asset.

Under the post-1991 Ukrainian Govt, it was viewed as pro-Russian and thus as inferior. So, lots of money was being made in Donbas, but very little investment and support was going into it.

Ukrainian is an old dialect of the rural population living on the outskirts of the Russian Empire. Different dialects in rural areas in various remote areas of Russia of the Russian Empire have always been spoken, the scientific and literary language is the Russian language, it is also the international language and the Russian language is the language of interethnic communication for the republics of the former Soviet Union. As Ukraine is located on the border with the EU countries and also the Black Sea, for this reason it has become a place of geopolitical struggle between Western countries and Russia, in an attempt to tear off this part of Russia and weaken Russia. The well-known social psychological technologies and money from Soros Foundation were used to reformat the population. These technologies have been especially honed by Great Britain, which has excelled in them throughout its colonial past.

One brigade was transferred to Sumy Region after staging a mutiny in the Donetsk People’s Republic, according to a Ukrainian officer: Ukrainian servicemen are increasingly refusing to follow orders and fleeing their positions, accusing their leadership of assigning them suicide missions, the Spanish newspaper El Pais reported on Monday, citing several Ukrainian officers. The outlet claimed that soldiers from four brigades fighting near the besieged settlement of Kurakhovo in Russia’s Donetsk People’s Republic have claimed that “the future of the war is bleak for their interests because there are not enough replacements.”
“Why are we retreating? Because we have no rotations, we don’t rest, we are demoralized,” one officer told the outlet, adding that there is a growing problem of Ukrainian soldiers fleeing their positions.
“I had a friend, we called him England. He fought the entire war on the front line, in Robotino, Soledar, Kherson... He was exhausted, he couldn’t take it anymore and the commanders didn’t give him a break. A few days ago he left, just like that,” the officer said.
A Ukrainian sergeant who goes by Churbanov also told the Spanish outlet that the shortage of soldiers had become the biggest problem facing the Ukrainian military, noting that servicemen often have to spend three months in their positions without rest or rotation.
Another serviceman, identified as Alexander, who serves in the Territorial Defense Forces (TRO), also told El Pais that at one point the 116th TRO brigade near Kurakhovo staged a mass rebellion and refused to follow orders. After that, the whole brigade was supposedly transferred to Sumy Region, from where Kiev launched its incursion into Russia’s Kursk Region, according to the officer.
Alexander also told El Pais that there had been a high-profile case earlier this month where 100 soldiers of the 123rd TRO Brigade abandoned their positions near Ugledar several days before the city was captured by Russian forces. The officer explained that they did this to “announce that without sufficient training and weapons they were being assigned to a suicidal defense,” according to El Pais.

Russia will not give up historically Russian/ Soviet territory. Like China, they're jealously protective of their territorial integrity. Both parties are also averse to factions, imposed borders and want harmony among it's citizens through common purpose and unity for the collective good. When your population is vast, like it's territory, avoiding internal division and conflict is important to governance. Like
    Xi's "One China policy"
Western intervention sows discontent. It's the point of NGO missions, and they know it.

The front in Ukraine is not collapsing. Everyone is talking about collapse, but it's just wishful thinking. There is a lot of hard fighting for every piece of the territory, and there are local successes, but it's really an attritional warfare at this point. The only way for the front to collapse is for Russian forces, penetrate a defensive lines and get reserves into the breach, so they can exploit and attack rear areas, communications, HQ etc. These are conditions that need to be met for the frontline to collapse.

I think that it was the usual USA/UK (+ EU) tactic to create a conflict in Ukraine for the planned regime change which was done in 2014 and after that to continue the conflict in order to provoke Russia to intervene (for the next planned regime change, common western colonialists practice) and Russia did react in Feb 2022, after 8 years of watching and seeeing how ethnic Russian people got shelled by Kiev very often in the Donbas on Russia's border, of which armed conflict western media reported not much or excessively like they do now from 2022 after Russia started its SMO. Kiev after 2014 with their newly installed pro USA/ UK/ EU regime blew it with those genocidal actions and the people decided to cut off the Kiev ruling. Those areas will be never Ukraine again.

The US did not seek to provoke Russia by but simply to remove Ukraine from the Russian orbit and to take over the Black Sea naval port from Russia as a was to control control the entire Black Seas shipping lanes and block Russian access to the Black Sea. Soon after the coup and angry about Crimea not being captures, the US started building the undersea foundation at Odessa for the largest US naval port in the world. That project stalled and I am not sure why it was stopped after a year.
