You've quickly become my favorite TFD TH-camr, informative videos, calm voice. I like that you recommend specific missions for mats as the game just giving a giant list of missions isn't super helpful in finding the best one to do
If you wanna farm mixed residue go to agna desert battlefield mission surveillance location the orange tier enemies have a chance in dropping them if you dont have enzo
The site you linked is a godsend, the in-game interface really needs an update to show the % drop chance instead of just a list of all the places a component drops
Couple of things to take into account (that may or may not apply to certain outposts/dungeons/patterns/etc) 1. Hard mode dungeons do not just buff enemies. They are completely different and might raplace or skip a time consuming step like capturing a point. You might also get more than one elite or the elite might appear earlier. 2. Hard mode patterns don't just have a higher chance to drop the Catalyst BP. They can have a higher drop rate for other items. Like 32% for a Decendent part vs 6% on Normal. There are also items that only drop from Hard patterns.
hell yeah this is a nice surprise!! your videos on remnant 2 were really helpful, I can't wait for more of your videos on this grind fest, because I love grinding for hours to end up with a bunch of 2-3%chance drops but NONE of the 20%chance drops that are needed, sorry for the rant, keep up the good work
If you're in hard mode i use the amorphous 054 you get from the kingston vulgus outpost (hard) to farm the blueprint, it has 20% and i got 12 of them, enough to fully socket a descendant (i was farming Esiemo's Code and in the way i got 12 blueprints...)
People will lose motivation after a while.. The Devs went overboard with the low drop rates. I have game "clan" in another game, We are playing this game for more than 120 hours each (roughly 25 people in the clan). So 99% of my clan already had enough of the meaningless grind... and we are ALL used to looter-shooters and farming but this game is just absolutely ridiculous.. I get it: they want you to pay for an ultimate character or some boosters = OK! But the rest of the grind is also super bad.. Imagine farming for only ONE last item to get a weapon for more than TWO WEEKS, at least 3 hours / day *only for ONE item*, blueprint, whatever...and it never drops.. WFT serioulsy?

I've never tested the 'tabs' at the top because I assumed it would, like the general inven screen, apply to all Descendants, which isn't what I was looking for. Since I've seen several specific sets it's like 'why isn't there a setting to save these to the individual descendant'. It looks like that's what your button does. :D They also hid the storage from me. I assumed it was just a mail box. :O Like 125 hours of carrying around a near full inventory of weapons to level before I noticed it. :P
For what it's worth, it's not a bad idea to spend your first Crystal Cat on your Sub Attack slot. This takes your module capacity from 80 to 85, and is probably the best initial investment slot for your character, if not second or third once you've got an Activator installed and your Sub module leveled all the way.
Thank you Abby for another nugget of wisdom. I am really having fun with Viessa and will eventually get Ultimate Viessa. Do I invest in normal Viessa. Perhaps a video on what to do or not do if you are going Ultimate.
For Crystallization Catalyst Blueprint, what's the fastest mission to get the Amorphous pattern? I don't mind any of the boss fights so that is not a factor. Tired of running Slumber Valley it takes too long for only 1 pattern. Edit: nevermind I think the way you showed at the end of the video looks the fastest I'll try that.
I’ve been trying to get 2 ultimate descendants and 1 ultimate weapon and have just run into about 6 cat patterns on the way. (Maybe 1 per 4-5 hrs.) The parts to make them seem more of an issue to me.
yeah those are a pain in the ass for example farming for enzo i need to farm white night gulch for pattern 39 but it also drops pattern 38 so it goes like this at round 2 you have a chance to get pattern 38 at round 4 you get a chance for 39 and so on and so on so there is a chance to end up with three 39s but most of the time you get gold wich is annoying AF i did this mission about 20 times and got 3 39 patterns to try and get enzos stabilizer luckily it has a 38% drop chance but getting the 39 is a nightmare they should actually make the patterns you get from those missions 100% so each round you get the amorphous plus the gold instead of you have a chance
@@johnnydamm22 You are probably misinterpreting that. The rewards at the bottom ONLY can happen if you stealth the mission. Double check to see if it’s in the “special stealth rewards” section. If so, then you have zero chance to get that drop unless you, or someone else, stealth blows them up.
OK, so the video is great however there’s a few details that are misleading. So the code analyzers in the codebreakers personally, I have a butt load of both and majority probably 80% of mine have dropped from the ambush so that’s a great place to just put around as money and they just get quite a few on a daily basis from there.
Game's recent update (08/02/24) has effectively made it impossible getting the catalyst blueprints on Normal. Gravewalker, run through, you're done. NOW its required on HARD for even a chance of it dropping. Slotted 10 modules on my character and got nothing 🤬
This game is ok i don't mind it but every new area is just doing the same quest as the last area in every zone it's the same just the enemys get harder and there is more enemys it won't keep a high player rate if this is not fixed and different game modes and quest are not added why ain't no one talking about this
love these videos..but as a solo player i have brick walled in this game hardcore and about to walk away because im stuck at level 40 and unable to unlock the last 2 maps because i cant get past pyromaniac..no less than 30 runs now and have got so close so many times but with the player count has dropped and cant ever seem to get spawned in with a strong enough team to beat pyro and cant level any weapons or anything past the 60's till i get past pyro and atleast get to the next map...any suggestions?????

If you go into the other mission to get the batteries.... you can avoid doing the timers you should do, aprox 1 min intobthe mission. There is a timer of 5 mins qnd you need to stand for 10 secs 6 different places... just ignore those in the 5 mins and several bosses with batteries will spawn... ive gotten over 50 in a total of 6 7 minutes... the mission fails but who cares 😊 The ion particles... ive never gotten some frome the last boss. I am not saying it is bot possible... because i dont know that, but in my experience he does not drop any, so i quite the mission and reastarts after the sexond gas spwned
I've been having bad luck w/ Sharen too, I feel like the drop rates changed when they lowered the cooldown to 1 minute. I noticed that I'll always get one when I restart my game.
@@AbbyHour yeah it doesn't double drop for me too, but only for this outpost though. was farming a different outpost for something else and there were double drops occasionally
Bunnies beware when farming murky energy residue...if you go in that area with the yellow bar guy with lightning emission popping off, it can kill him before you even see him and your resource falls off the map as he is always right on the edge of the platform
i would first grind for the blueprint... cause if youre unlucky like a lot of people you wont get a single one in 100 runs.. that means all grinded mats would be as waste of time..

First time I used a catalyst & then realized it resets my descendant/gun back to level 1 & can’t use another catalyst till I’m maxed out in level again…I was immediately turned off from this game. Farming these items then waiting hrs , sometimes even over a day, for them to finish researching is enough. Top it off with the fact that if you want a good endgame build you better set aside a TON of time doing mindless repetitive monotonous content just to level back up efficiently & you have a game that’s gonna burn people out really fast. It’s nonsense. The Valby farm was great it was efficient it was fast. Now no matter what new vid pops up on TH-cam for the “new best” xp farm they’re all way to slow. I have a bunch of catalysts I haven’t used yet. I don’t wanna use them cause it’s too much of a slog leveling back up. Energy activators don’t reset your level. Neither should a catalyst. I hope they drop this bullshit.
I actually felt the same way at first but considering you can continue wearing all your gear and weapons it's not that bad. I was playing hard mode as a brand new level 1 Enzo and still able to beat missions etc which is what you should do when prestiging the character. It is a grind though overall but that's what tfd is
Crap video. You can't farm Crystallisation Catalysts, you farm the components. The Catalyst Blueprint is locked behind Amorphous materials which in turn need Colossi kills or Reactor bosses. You can go for days without getting LUCKY on drops and that's the biggest bottleneck in the game because you need at least 9 per weapon and 10 or 11 per Descendent. IT'S NOT EASY!
Plz learn not to misinform, dont do a FULL noob guide, when you write only best spots to farm something, make it much more understandable what you go trough in your videos, or you will never grow as a creator, horrible when someone does this clickbait crap or missinforms their viewers.
normal is the way to go and pick an amorphous that is easy to farm and farm a bunch and try your luck yesterday i did 10 amorphouses and got three crystallization blueprints(pretty damn lucky) i only was bummed because i couldnt research three at once XD but the thing is you can easily do 50 amorphouses and get nothing because i am still farming for 4 fallen hopes and i have been running that for 3days straight now and still got nothing not even one thats 20% my ass and the worse thing is fallen hope can only be farmed at normal
but this upgrade concept is based on 💰 knocking they could have done like level up system to increase the module capacity like the other games because they doing simple level up system but this concept it takes to much or capital of 💰 and Nexon know this just to make 💰
wrong when you reach hard and grind for bunny next grind for enzo, not only vaults are easier also give more loot, and if you team up with few enzo you even get more and i think when they open with code analyzer you also get loot and kaiper. now i have too much kaiper not enough gold

Kingston - calling of the descendant - slumber valley, which gives a 100% chance then do normal gravewalker

Sucks how you farm the blue print so long for it to drop. And the you have to beat the boss for it to drop again from the boss.
