I use 1/8" - 3/16" styrene square channel in my corners. After the interior is primed and painted, the joint is virtually invisible. The wires can then be hidden in the channel. After priming and painting, scrape around any door/window openings so your cement will make a stronger bond for your door/window castings.

Great tip. I’m going to do that. I’ve only tried the blk tape method

Great idea! I thought about using some caulk, but the challenge would be applying it. What you've done is made "caulk-glue" with a much better applicator!

Have you tested black construction silicone?

I have not, but if it is opaque and easy to apply I'm sure it would work. Cheers, Kevin.

Hey can you paint over the black and still keep the light from bleeding?? Just wondering, might want to 👀 see inside too.

Chris, yes. If you want to paint or detail the interior you can still do that. I actually find printing "wall paper" and then gluing it to the interior walls works well. You can just take a picture of an interior wall in your house. Print it to the right size, and glue it to an interior wall. That way you can see details on the walls like pictures, bookcases, etc without having to fully detail the interior of the buildings. Cheers, Kevin.
