You hit the nail on the head Mark. Interest rates are too high for the prices that dealerships want. I remember back in the 80's my dad looking for a car and back then interest rates were in the 15 percent range and that was on a K car. Granted prices were no where near as high as they are today which does not help but when you see a lower interest rate on a vehicle for a long amortization period (ie that white convertible you reviewed) then the financing is being subsidized to sell the vehicle. The price is buried. Dealers will sell all the vehicles it will just take time and they are patient. Some dealers as you mentioned are a little off, look at the Mazda dealership in Barrie, they want 110,000 for a Camaro so they will wait a little longer.
Hey Keiran, its crazy times isn't it, look at the Mitisi plant overflow lot, you have to wonder how TS will sell all those trucks. on another note is that your Red 1LE over by the honda dealer?
@@CCFBGGarage That lot you were pointing out was holding Fords before. Lots of vehicles there but you would think that a small town dealership would not be able to support it but they have a tremendous reach and they will sell all of them. We might think the prices are too high but somebody is buying them no matter what. I checked on Autotrader and all Camaros except for the White Vert you reviewed has been sold. I was surprised the Red one you recently reviewed sold. On a different note to answer your question, no that is not my Red 1LE. I own a 2LT with the 2.0LTG . I really wanted the 4 banger even though i did look at SS's which were only in Parry Sound. Even with my perfect Driving Record a SS or higher would have given me an extra 1100 dollars a year for insurance. This may be another reason for the vehicles being hard to sell. Scat packs & hellcats not selling, Camaros not selling…….Mustangs selling like hotcakes , Evven that electric mustang is selling since they put em on sale lol
I think the remaining Hellcats are overpriced because of how rare they are and have become, Ill be honest the new Mustang is a decent car and may go take one for rip just to review it but its the only game in town now and a V8, very frustrating why Chevrolet is out of the game. If you find one, it will likely involve traveling, the auctions will become popular sadly as people who can't afford $1k payments start to rethink their purchase, good repost do exist but are rare.
I find it a little amusing that many Camaro fanboys will only consider this excellent vehicle if equipped with the manual tranny. There's nothing wrong with a 10 speed automatic, it's faster than what most driver's can accomplish with the Tremec and no annoying skip shift to save on the gas guzzler tax. I have nothing against the 6 speed manual and I realize the preferred choice for the purist. However certainly not the only choice.
i did not buy a new camaro or any gm for that matter now because all they make is shit. gen 5 was great. gen 6 was shit and was so bad i'll never buy another american made car again.
Yeah its due for an upgrade for sure, the new one will continue to likely be another push rod engine. its no coyote thats for sure, the coyote in my F150 just starts waking up at 4000 rpm where while the LT1 is still a good engine starts to run out of breath around 4500-5000

Some 2023 aren't selling big deal.
I just did a quick look, there are a ton of v6's out there, 4 ZL1's which they want 95k+. You could have gotten those in the 60k's a year or so ago. No thx
It is crazy, yeah i didn't imclude the V6 cars in this list but if anyone is looking I can do another one for them.
After having owned both a '69 and 70 Camaro in the day, (427 swap in '69) ( factory L78, 70) I could not see me driving these newer Camaro's. Poorly styled in my opinion.
Now those are some cars I would love to do a video on! - Mark
Scat packs & hellcats not selling, Camaros not selling…….Mustangs selling like hotcakes , Evven that electric mustang is selling since they put em on sale lol
Ford has recalled more cars than Dodge and GM combined over 90,000 just the other day may have something to do with the sale 😂
I think the remaining Hellcats are overpriced because of how rare they are and have become, Ill be honest the new Mustang is a decent car and may go take one for rip just to review it but its the only game in town now and a V8, very frustrating why Chevrolet is out of the game.

Only 4 new units in the Phoenix area. All garbage v6 convertibles 😴
I do like my manuals but having owned an automatic with all that tech I've gotten lazy lol, great comment 👍🏻 Mark
i did not buy a new camaro or any gm for that matter now because all they make is shit. gen 5 was great. gen 6 was shit and was so bad i'll never buy another american made car again.
I 100% agree on the gen 5 cars! The quality does seem to be lacking but they all do to some extent. Appreciate the comment 👍🏻 Mark
Everyone know the Chevy small block is old
Yeah its due for an upgrade for sure, the new one will continue to likely be another push rod engine. its no coyote thats for sure, the coyote in my F150 just starts waking up at 4000 rpm where while the LT1 is still a good engine starts to run out of breath around 4500-5000
There over priced
I agree Arthur. i think its called Greedflation now.

They’ve been out of V8 for a long time very few. Tell him to open back up and build me a SS. 1LE and it’s sold.
